While this anime does focus on drama quite a bit, I think the main message is about change and how it is inevitable. While we may like to hold on to what is dear to us and hope that things do not change, change is just part of life. As for pairings, I never been a huge fan of Tsumugu. I didn't like him when Manaka was crushing on him and I don't care for him much in terms of being with Chisaki. I don't hate the guy, I just don't find him a compelling character. His lack of emotion is my main gripe; always monotone. With that said it makes the most sense for him to end with Chisaki since they are the same age and they are comfortable with each other. I didn't mind rooting for Chisaki with Hikari pre time skip but so much has CHANGED. lol Miuna is cool. I don't mind shipping her. I still think Manaka is the best fit for Hikari but we will see what happens. I think she will come back because the OP hints at that fact and it really seems like she is the one catching the red umbrella at the end. At the same time, the ED seems reminiscent of memories and hints that maybe she won't come back especially how it avoids showing her face. WHO KNOWS?! Kaname will probably move on from Chisaki and see Sayu in a different light. Maybe even Hikari will see Miuna in a different light. At this point in time he hasn't shown any interest in her in that sense. With all that being said, we are 9 episodes from the conclusion. I CAN SEE THE ENDING! Or not really... :P |
| There are so many different opinions about the characters, that I´m really sure that at the end of episode 26 some people will be really pissed. I don´t know why, but I get the feeling that this could be a reason why at the end we won´t get any official couple :/! This anime is so unpredictable that I can imagine a crazy end like : Manaka waking up, but 15 years later when Hikari and the others are all adults. I really missed Kaname, so I´m really happy that he´s finally back ! Still it´s sad to see him suffering. |

| I loved the heartbreaking moments between Kaname and Chisaki and Kaname is not a fool, he knows that Tsumugu feels something more for Chisaki and has more of a chance with her...that's why he is all serious and sad looking when Tsumugu is around. I wonder if his reactions are a foreshadowing of Tsumugu's and Chisaki's future as a couple ....after all, Hikari was never a threat to him so he never worried but Tsumugu on the other hand... |

| Sayu and Miuna's different ways of looking at things is really fun to watch. Sometimes I side with Sayu, sometimes with Miuna. Chisaki and Tsumugu were really cute this episode, I hope they end up together. Looking forward to seeing Shioshishio again next episode, I wonder how much it will have changed. |
| I wish that Manaka got drifted ashore somewhere else where she was aged for 5 years like Chisaki, that would be the real drama :D Kaname is pathetic with his love though. Chisaki and Tsumugu is the only pair I favor now. Other ones are just childhood wishes. So, now we have this: Sayu -> Kaname, Tsumugu -> Chisaki, Miuna -> Hikari -> Manaka - > Tsumugu Anyone else joins this septagram? :) (EDIT: oh, shame on me, I forgot that guy who has crush on Miuna) :)) |
| nuuuuuu I like Hikari x Miuna xD Great episode, each scene is really great to watch ^^ Good for Sayu haha ^^ but notice how for Sayu & Miuna it's kind of like a dream come true to be with Hikari & Kaname, but Hikari & Kaname are still uneasy. Not uneasy about the different "world", but about Manaka and Chisaki, respectively. outkastfox said: I wonder if they'll see manaka... | I can't even believe they made such a likeable character (and give her so much development) out of such an unimportant side-character like Miuna. I've really grown attached to her. But boy, every character suffers so much in this show. It's a real emotional rollercoaster... I just hope it won't end catastrophically. |

| It was an interresting episode, again. I just realised that the OP lyric are exactly about Mana. Kaname living with Tsumugu and Chisaki can be an explosive situation. I'm pretty sure that Tsumugu have feeling for Chisaki and that Chisaki is still confused. That scene were Kaname greeted Sayu was really cute. So Miuna now have an Ena and as I thought, it's because of her mother origin. Maybe they activate when they at a certain depth of water. Anyway, now there going for their old village. Will they find something to cheer them up or will it be the opposite? Also, WHAT HAPPENED TO MANA GODDAMMIT!! xD |

| I'm starting to think the only reason why Hikari, Kaname, and possibly Manaka are waking up is because they ate before going into hiberation. It doesn't really make a lot of sense to go into hiberation 50 years before something supposedly bad happens only to wake up 5 years later before anything even happens to mankind. But i suppose they did say no one knows how long the hibernation is.... I don't know what to think about side characters being given most of the screen time though, even now Miuna and Sayu ( I guess they are main characters now...) still interest me the least of all the characters, starting to turn into a blender of themes. |

| I do Hope Hikari chooses either Chisaki or Manaka but Im rooting for ChisakiXHikari because she has had a crush since they were childhood and Manaka feels like more of a friendship wise. I dont want ChisakaXTsumugu pair or ChisakaXkaname because firstly Chisaka still has feelings for Hikari and she has only changed due ot the 5 year timeskip. Kaname suits Sayu better. I dont know why people are rooting MiunaxHikari because its impossible as they are close family relatives so HOPEFULLY that doesnt happen or score will drop. Chisaki is Hot and seems like a good housewife for Hikari HIKARI please choose Chisaki, shes the one for you |

| The OST has changed (for those who didn't noticed) but it's still pretty good. It's nice to see how Sayu matured in these 5 years. |
| Alright now I'm rooting for Sayu x Kaname. It's better if he just forgets about Chisaki. There's one thing I not too fond of Chisaki.. she has 5 years of time to think things through ? She should give Kaname an answer after saying 'I'm thinking about it' and left him hanging the last time. Imagine poor Kaname having just woke up the next day and find the girl he loves living with another guy for 5 years. But that's just my thought.. also I find it somewhat awkward whenever she's close to Tsugumu. I don't know why though.. despite thinking I would ship them after they were living together. Maybe it seems like she still hold feelings for Hikari.. she has no self awareness lol. Well I still like her nonetheless.. I'm curious what they'll find down there. |
