| Hae-In fanservice last episode, MC fanservice this episode. Gotta appreciate the balance. And talking about balance, gotta say I kinda liked the talk between MC and Gun-Hee, and how the fact of MC joining one of the five main Guilds might break the power/influence balance in the country. It's an interesting narrative approach, all things considered. Ok-ish episode overall. Not much happened but it was still entertaining to some extent. |

There is no indication that the ranking of a gate for a single person is different to the ranking of a gate that anybody can enter. Again, we are talking about the anime. In the anime, Jinwoo even says before entering the Demon Castle in season 1 episode 7 - "if so, what awaits me inside will be magic beasts similar to those on Jeju island" - a message indicating to the audience that the monsters are comparable in strength regardless of who the gate was designed for.

No. A top A-Rank hunter can NOT solo an A-Rank dungeon boss. A mid S-Rank can’t either and it’s gonna get talked about in the anime. I don’t know what’s hard to understand about gate ranks? A dungeon boss will always be stronger than their gates’ rank. Jinwoo’s dad was the only one found inside the american gate and it was estimated as one of the highest A-Rank gates. Is his dad an A-Rank? No, he one-shotted a mid-high S-Rank as if he was a fly.
| @nvxiis Please watch episode 6 of the first season. I'll quote you verbatim from Jinho, from one of the subs: "At least a B-rank hunter can defeat a C-rank boss alone. Or a top tier C-rank hunter.". To translate, a top tier C-rank hunter is able to defeat a boss in a C-rank dungeon. Are you saying the anime's phrasing is poor or incorrect, or that we cannot extrapolate this rationale to higher ranks? If a boss is one tier above their gate, then how does a top C-rank hunter beat a boss in a C-rank dungeon? Additionally, Jinwoo was low A-rank when he fought Igris. Since he defeated Igris, does that mean Igris was low A-rank? He was about high A-rank when he faced Baruka, Vulcan and Metis. Does that mean those bosses were typical ones that could be found in a B-rank gate? Just because a hunter dies in an A-rank gate does not mean that they couldn't have defeated the boss, so Jinwoo's dad being the only survivor doesn't amount to anything. |

| Fourth episode. It's time for Gigachad Sigmalord to impart dominance over the rest of puny hunters. Time for him to take the rank test again. Can they just take it again? Why? Dont they have some kind of register or journal or something? Why is the possibility to take it again there if your power and rank are supposed to be static? I dont get it, this is an unnecessary hole in the laws of this place and allows for saturation or unnecessary tests, knowing that this system is of public access this should be something to tackle. 16 episodes later, Jin-Woo is officially an S-ranker. How is this satisfactory in any way whatsoever? Such a bland "underdog" story. Goo-Hee is literally Walmart Netero, far less complex or interesting and without any of the traits that make Netero such a cool character, however. HOW MANY TIMES ARE WE GOING TO SEE PEOPLE BEING AMAZED AND ASKING THEMSELVES IF JIN-WOO IS AN E RANK OR NOT??? THIS MOMENT HAS BEEN REPEATED LIKE 40 TIMES BY NOW HOLY SHIT THIS IS ANNOYING. Ok. | S-ranks break the machine. He's got some recognition but he still needs to wait for some formalities before he can complete properly, in the meantime, a job surfing/grinding in the mines. |

| Jinwoo is finally getting reevaluated as a hunter! After the Red Gate incident, there was no more hiding his strength but there was no way he could let them know about the system. I wonder if Jinnah knows yet? His reasoning to join the mining team was a bit of a stretch. Especially when he will become an S Rank in a few days. |

@keirashii My brother in Christ, why do you even watch it if you hate anime so much? With a 3.84 mean score, you barely enjoy anything, just drop it and stop watching anime.
Seeing you rate this anime and every single episode a 1 is kind of dumb, do us all a favor and stop watching it.
| @xZabuzax I don't hate anime, otherwise I wouldnt have an account in this website. I also enjoy watching stuff I do not like. I never drop stuff, the only exception is One Piece for obvious reasons; so, I will keep watching it. |

| With 2 of the 3 ingredients acquired from the Demon's Castle, Jinwoo may still be an E-Rank, but that truth may not hold for long with the reassessment. With Jinwoo appearing at the Hunters' Guild to get his rank status reassessed, Jinwoo doesn't bat an eye even towards the guildmaster Choi Jong-in himself. It's only when the Hunter's Association's Chairman Go Gunhee reaffirms Jinwoo's S-Rank legitimacy that he presents the biggest threat for Jinwoo to secure his future in the Assocation rather than the 5 major guilds. Even so, Jinwoo's conviction to go to dungeons and defeat magic beasts remains his primary goal, that he can only be courteous as to take care of his family at this point of time. Dongsoo really getting his ass beaten awfully by Il-sung, and Jinwoo using every manifest of the time to build the Elixir ASAP, even a fast track would do if the offer were genuine, like joining a mining team that justify being both in dungeons and doing the heavy lifting for other raid teams. Of course, there's Jong-in and Hae-in being the S-rank specialists to finish the A-Rank dungeons and leave the hard work to the mining and collection teams, though Jinwoo being an E-Rank certainly gives everyone hopes that he'll do the work for them...though he's anticipating what's in store for him to find out. If only Hae-in didn't stop Jinwoo in his tracks... |
