the intelligent Kaiju is interesting and all but its weird how there wasa a cp tracking system and they still didnt knew anything about when Kafka transformed, well he mightve done something smarter like removing his suit maybe idk
also the author tries too hard to make the mc look funny,

Shinomiya was really fighting like hell. Like good lord a broken arm, multiple wounds, and she kept going until she couldn't. Glad Kafka was gon the scene tho.

ishikawa x Kafka carry gives me second hand embarrassment even the second captain Hoshino feels it lol. I was expecting things to go wrong but who knew it would be a sentient kaijuu like Kafka but this one seems more aligned with kaijuu than human. I wasn't expecting Shinomiya to have a dark past of expectations from an overbearing father. It seems like she was bred to inherit some sort of wealthy family, episode was pretty good

Shinomiya sure is skilled but she got high pressure from her father who wants her to be #1 everywhere, it almost ended badly but Kafka had to transform to his Kaiju form and save her, seems like she's backing him up at least... and now it also seems like Kaiju can transform into humans to trick them...

It seemed like everything was going a little too well during the test, but didn't expect another human like Kaiju.
They definitely hyped it up with that animation, despite it being quite a short scene.
Kafka also now has to keep his secret with Shinomiya, but it looks like she's going to keep it for now.

amazing build-up. did enjoy seeing the perfect princess getting humbled by kafka. also kafka definitely had a fat-ass in that once full-shot after he transformed.

This episode was so close to being an epic showdown. I think it was held back by various trope tbh. For one, I feel like the female lead was made way too helpless and that considering all that's happened so far. Damsel in distress is nothing bad, but considering her obsession with our MC so far, I feel like it's going to be something of an obsessive love interest, the worst kind of shounen romance if we're being honest.

@JoestarEISH_020 Also, I see how the One Replubic or whatever's OST should've been used as perfectly layered in this episode. You know that music that was set in motion with that one punch, yeah that was awesome. Also, I feel like the comedy gets in the way far too often. I know that should be a thing but making the MC behave like an overpowered teenager in his 30s isn't one of them. It's a little over the top, not to say it should be toned down, but I prefer a better execution I'm afraid.

Very good episode, I was expecting that the typical of putting someone more powerful to the one who currently stands out the most (Kikoru) would happen.
Impossible expectations, since perfection doesn't exist... we are perfectly imperfect, when she said that someone had to stay behind to avoid more casualties and the others could evacuate (and she offers herself)... it's not the attitude of someone bad, so I like her even if she's arrogant.
I love that Kafka takes them all out in one hit even though she almost regenerates again hahaha
So there will be more cases like Kafka, I wonder if the kaijuu are adopting human form or is it like Kafka that a kaijuu got into him and modified him, only in Kafka's case he didn't lose his conscience... I guess like all anime, we have to wait for more answers

The episode was nice and all, but I don't like the comedy, it's on the cringe side, and the MC transforming to save the girl was supposed to be a hype moment, but I didn't feel the hype because I find this too predictable, and I also feel that Kaiju powerup he was given was undeserved too, not to mention, the way he got his powerup was extremely lame, so I can't be hyped for the MC, he's just a regular guy that was given a powerup all of a sudden for no reason, and then he uses that powerup to save the day, meh.

I'm not hating on this anime (yet), I'm still enjoying it, but I can't feel the hype here. The moment I start hating it then I will start shitting on it like there's no tomorrow, hopefully I won't get to that point. I probably won't get to that point since I'm enjoying the animation at least.

We got One Punch man! Love seeing the contrast between his OPness and his uncertainty about how to handle situations. Glad Kikoro is being chill; but wonder if she'll try blackmailing him.
