The order of events is different but all of this crap did originally happen and it's going to be a running theme. As for why I haven't dropped it, it's not bad enough. | I'm late to the party so I'm sure plenty of people might've said this already: I don't think they are skipping the Goblin raid arc. It's probably going to be used as the final arc of this Anime, because its shock value is much higher than the Sword Maiden arc. Even if they did skip it, I will judge the Anime for what it is. If I wanted exactly what was in the Manga/LN, I would read those. I'm totally fine with changes here and there. |

| Finally caught up. Episodes feel long when watching them, which is usually a sign that I am not too immersed, unfortunately. But at least episodes 2-5 were much better in the aspect that they didn't feel like their script was trying to hammer something into me like a broken clockwork anymore, which really annoyed me about the first half of episode 1. Also it reminds me of those days I used to play "The One Ring" Table-Top game. Curse that one time I was casually scouting the river and just happened to roll a critical failure which instantly resulted in a monster attack. All-in-all, up until episode 5, Goblin Slayer is a solid 7/10 for me. But I never score a series until the season ends or until I decide to stall/drop it. |

As an anime-only, to me it looked like some kind of skill/ability that simulates the success-chance of an attack. In TTRPG terms it would be like getting a "test run" of a certain move, including dice roll and all, and getting to see what the direct consequences in that test run are - then you can decide whether to try it for real (with another dice roll that might be better, same as, or worse than the test run). Something like that? At least that's what it felt like to me. |

Seems more her style. Probably got most of her magic items that way too. Though, it brings up the obvious question, how do you link/reverse lost magic without knowing the lost magic or how that lost magic works? Makes more sense to me that someone just identifies what a scroll does, and the scroll just worked based on casters will. |

| A thought just came to me. So Goblin Slayer is currently on the highest rank of adventurers right? Kinda like Adamantite class in Overlord. Does that mean he achieved that by only dealing with goblins? Holy shit he's probably killed hundreds of thoudands of them. |

No, in Overlord ADamantite is a legend, but Silver rank in GS is just Rank 3. Prcelain > Obsidian > Steel > Saphire > Emerald >Ruby> Bronze >Silver, > Gold > Platinum Platinum is the equivalent to Adamantite in overlord. There are only 16 heroes as platinum rank in that world. |

Holy shit he's probably killed hundreds of thoudands of them. no, he's silver, it's 3rd highest rank. but yes, he did kill so many goblins to rank up, he can get to that rank bc he beat upper level goblins. but he will never rank up further if he didn't kill any other monster beside goblins. it's a bit incomparable to Overlord though. A party of gold level adventurers in GS can beat demon lord. |

| I don't read the manga, so it's the next arc long enough to last 7 episodes more or there are a lot of arcs that could be animated next? Because if not I don't get why so many people are scared about that arc not getting animated. Again I don't know how much content there is out to be animated. |

If they really save village arc for the last, i believe there will be more filler epsiodes after this arc. People are getting freaked because that arc is cool and important for GS character dev. |
| Episodes that don't contribute to the main plot can be described as either a buildup episode or a filler episode. This is a filler episode. |
| The good thing is that it makes the secondary characters less anonymous, of useless has that describes what everyone has clearly understood for centuries: that all the girls feel love for the Stoic. Not useless as an episode, but not even essential. |
