| Been reading the manga from the start and I knew the series was something very special. So glad to see a successful anime adaption! I definitely recommend the manga. The line art is fantastic and story continues. A lot of character developments as well as new characters, not to mention the Elite Ten! Some pages from this episode: |
| I have to say that I think not showing makes the end of this season rather confusing for anime viewers. If I were an anime viewer, I'd wonder why Ibusaki is sad, or why Marui had a serious look when they were talking about Ibusaki after the preliminaries. I might assume that they might just be discontent with 4th place or something. Edit: Season's score is an 8 for me. A solid adaptation IMO; would be better if not for the boob physics that annoyed me for some reason. Oh, and Tosh is one of the best artists in Jump, hands down |

| This episode was sooo enjoyable. So many great moments. - Yuuki trying hard to not cry and cheer for her friends. - Judges arguing on who's cooking is better. - Erina wanting to taste Souma's cooking but acting all tsundere despite being alone in the room. - Creepy stalker girl falling off the tree while following Hisako. - Alice's weird eyes. - Isshiki's naked apron get-up and swimwear. - Megumi's moment with Souma. - Mito spying and getting all jelly. - Aldini brothers visiting the dorm and Takumi getting emotionally "drunk". I would give this a 10/10 but since the story isnt over yet and I'm wanting for oh, so much more, I'd give this a 9/10 |

| The 1 person who gave it a rating of (1) is a pussy and a cunt and has bad taste for food. 10/10 since episode 4 - 20 episodes has passed and still 10/10 rating. I got so excited on the show since I love to cook myself and serve people my meals and the smile on their faces when they get a taste of my cooking makes me happy. I can somewhat relate to this show and how Yukihira goes on about in the academy. Great battle. I was shocked that Soma did the sensory bomb to give the judges his dish. It was a great effort. Erina was shocked that Akira-kun got (2) 20's in which Isshiki-san said not even Erina herself got a 20 from the judges. Damn Akira is strong. I love the moment of Megumi and Soma, also going back to the old OP was soooo damn good. If there is no announcement of a season 2 within the week to come then i'll tackle the manga easily. |

| I'll be mad if there are no season 2. That would make no sense by ending it at this point. Based J.C. Staff! Thank god they didn't ruined one of the best manga in history. This freakin' series! Easily 9/10 since the start! Best cooking manga I've watched. Fantastic visuals and colors, excellent choice of VA, decent soundtrack, everything! AOTS material right here! Still inferior compared to the manga though, but it have its pluses. |

| Pretty enjoyable anime. I'm definitely not going to wait for a season 2 announcement, guess I'll just dig into the manga. The anime was mostly on the plus side. The ending was good, I thought Souma would tie Hayama since his dad did say not to lose to anyone until he beats him again... and now Souma lost. What I mostly didn't like was how shounen it felt. I realize it's right there in its genre tags, but this was like we're going back to the DBZ basics. Then there are the walking definitions of overused tropes a.k.a Erina and Megumi (and people are still like: ''Hell yeah - Erina/Megumi best girl, whoo!'', lol), but aside from that it was very good, and left me wanting more - just like Souma's dishes. Final episode: 4.5/5 Overall anime score: 8/10 |

| Fantastic, I gave it a 10 for the moment as I can't find any real flaws, apart from that man ass that annoyed me, but that's subjective. I rarely give 10's out, but Soma really had great production, lovable art, thrilling animation, great humor, great music placement and the voice actors clearly had fun yelling at each other. |

| Barely a moment to catch my breath during the last few eps, especially in this one. The sheer intensity of Souma & Hayama's battle was overflowing beyond the arena and through my monitor. And so end's my 2nd favorite anime of 2015. There'll be two gaping holes in my fridays now without Shokugeki no Souma & Prison School. The ending was great and conclusive enough and even thought we got no teaser of a S2 like with Prison School, I think there's a good chance to expect one, this being in Shounen Jump & all. Until then though, I'll be hitting that manga. 9/10 from me and thank you based J.C. Staff one of the most intense anime summers in years! |

| Since I already read the manga, not much I can say beside it is well adapted. There are some originals scenes too. I actually like how Erina congratulates both Alice and Kurokiba, I like how he is getting recognized and doesn't look like he is just as Alice's aide anymore, he got some serious skills too considering he tied with Souma. |

| Aw its over. So that was Soma's first official defeat. I knew I was going to love this show from the first episode despite its bad reviews in the beginning. I just really prefer over-confident main protagonists'. I dont know if I should just read the manga or wait for a second season that may or may not come although I think the chances of it having a season 2 is high but definitely not gonna be soon. The ongoing shows Im watching is ending one by one. Its kinda giving me "the void" because I have nothing to look forward to next week. Only Overlord and Gangsta left and Im not really pumped with Gangsta anymore but Im looking forward to Overlord's finale. |

| Masterpiece! The atmosphere and the characters were amazing! It was one of a few shows that completely ripped me from reality and made me enjoy every second of it. It definitely deserves a 2nd season. |

| I'm giving this series an 8/10 .. I got really close to giving it a 9 haha. I think it was more a long the lines of very entertaining to me rather than "amazing" . They manage to take a concept I've always found very boring (cooking) and make it seem exciting and interesting. This show has a way of being funny , exciting, and informative that no other show has for me for a good while. But some of my appreciation of this show really has to take into consideration I've never watched a cooking anime before, so the mere novelty of not having seen it done before boosts my thoughts of the show too. |

| Man, I was so not expecting anything from this anime. I wasn't even going to watch it, but I relented because of the positive acclaim it was getting. I'm so glad that I did, because this is easily the best anime of 2015 so far well, aside from UBW It was hilarious and entertaining. It had great characters and a surprisingly interesting plot, considering that the show is about food. Overall I'll give a 9.5/10, though I'm currently not sure whether to round up or down. |

| As someone who reads the manga.. This was god damn awesome. 100% faithful and the animation and OST made this an even better experience than just reading it. I didn't like some echhi scenes that seemed wrong in the anime but shit I'm nitpicking. Overall it was an awesome refreshing experience. Funny and action packed in almost all episodes while still being unique and living you hungry every time. Can't wait for more. For the anime watchers let me tell you that the manga keeps getting better and better and they have more than enough material to make another 24 ep season. And god damn they should. Cause this is awesome. |

| Okay, to be honest i was pretty sure they will announce S2 at the end of this one.I'm so sad right now lol Seriously tho, i could write an essay about how much i love most of characters in this series, and of course series itself.It had such great ''flow'', hilarious comedy moments as well as heartwarming and epic ones.Duh, usually i would complain about how much fanservice moments there are in certain shows, but in this one i didn't feel like complaining at all because it felt like it belongs to where it is. 9/10 from me, and i'm so hoping to see S2 announcement soon.J.C Stuff, this one goes for you. |

| Awesome series, loved every bit(E) of it. Enjoyable story, characters, development ect. Really, I didn't have a single problem with it, the fanservice was totally fine, I'd lie if I say that I didn't like it. More Nikumi and Megumi and S2 please. But probably I won't be able to keep still and I think I'll start reading the manga, I've completely become addicted to it. |

| Liked it....but I'm not thrilled by the way this whole tournament thing ends.... But then again, maybe I'll feel differently when it gets animated. And yeah, it's so obvious this will get a season 2.... probably as soon as Winter 2016. |
