| I've been wondering if Usopp could get anymore negative than he already is. The answer is no. No he cannot. Loved how Perona started crying out of pity for him tho XD God the ending bit was freaky af...poor Nami's not even awake. Sanji is gonna become a human flamethrower all over again lmao |

| At first, I had this brief idea. It's kind of odd how the cast hasn't had another scene even discussing Chopper's monster form since Water 7. There hasn't been a moment of it. They wouldn't want to confront Chopper about it but I seem to recall them knowing it was Chopper. Usopp, Zoro, Franky, and Nami all did at least. So, what if monster Chopper came back to fight against Oars since even Zoro thinks he'll be too much to fight. It'll be some giant monster fighting going on if that happens. O_O Although, it is very unlikely since Chopper has rightfully so been set up to fight and confront Hogback, someone he has a deep connection to. Just a hilariously cool idea. I imagine Dogguin and Jigoro will fight each other in typical Zoro and Sanji fashion, probably because Jigoro will attack Robin. ;) I loved the line "You can't skip straight to Moria-sama! Learn some manners!". Hogback seemed a bit mad that Luffy skipped typical shounen formula and made his way to Moria before the major fights had even started to begin outside of Brooks. I think that's also really cool. I predicted he wouldn't be able to fight Moria and instead he'd be locked up or sleeping until the end. Luckily I was wrong and even if his fight with Moria/Oars doesn't occur until the rest are done it's pretty interesting to go this path. The more Luffy the better. Moria perplexes me. His character is lethargic and childlike. He sleeps all the time, Luffy even saw him napping this episode, and he wants to "play" with Oars. He was upset he couldn't. His attitude is hard to pin down so I'm very interested in learning more about him. Franky making a bridge by utilizing his skillset was awesome. I specifically liked how he used the rubble around him just like how he used scraps to make battleships and later reconstruct his own body. While the others were discussing what to do he was making an amazing bridge. I had initially thought Franky would get them to hold onto him and fart his way over there but this saves cola and demonstrates his strengths so that's cool with me! The Perona scene was the highlight of the episode. Zoro apparently holds that ghosts on a swordsman's back are his biggest shame too because as everyone else ran, Zoro refused to retreat despite even saying he has no way to fight back. What a dumb but amazingly strong person, it's certainly one of his major strengths and weaknesses! That detail was wonderful. But, my second or third favorite scene of the arc has to go to Usopp being so negative already that the ghosts don't affect him. He totally pulled a Goku! I wonder if this was a nod to it! Perona was so sad to see a man with so little hope and pride that she and her cute animals cheered for him. It was both hilarious and a scene that made her much more likable! And, we can't forget how it demonstrated Usopp's bravery as he refused to let her hurt his friends and took the zombies out in a barrage of salt, only after pretending to fall to her ghosts. Sure, it may have to do with the fact that this is a fight that Usopp can seemingly keep up with unaffected by the ghosts, but, I think he would have done it anyway even if it was Moria they were facing. His brave side comes out in these moments where his values are put to the test. :) |
| Oars running off like a complete oaf and Franky building a makeshift bridge while everyone was trying to think of a way to get in the castle were some really funny moments~ That part where Perona and her wild zombies cheered Usopp to live on because of his own self-deprecating nature making him very resistant to Negative Hollow was by far one of the funniest moments in a One Piece fight, that's for sure! Chopper and Usopp proudly taking on the powerful opponents that stand before them was very manly~ I can't wait to see Sanji crash the wedding before Absalom gets his filthy muzzle on Nami's luscious lips. |

| So I thought the ghost thing would be put off by negative energy. I thought maybe Robin. But it’s funnier with Usopp haha. Sanji about to wood cat man butt so bad that I almost feel bad for him. Really interested to see Moria fight. Chopper vs doctor and Robin vs assistant should be good too. Lot of the fights coming in |
