| It's really weird how water people and land people hate each other when the only thing that differs them are skin that breathes water. Anyway, I can't express enough how gorgeous this anime is. I mean argh.... compare these 2 episodes with DEEN's KonoSuba or Higurashi.... so gorgeous. |

| I really love how novel and refreshing this premise is. I understand the reasons why Hikari behaves like that, but he doesn't have to be such a dick to Manaka. She, on the other hand, is a bit too naive. I hope we get some focus on Kaname and Chisaki too. |

| Manaka wanting to get cursed again is adorable, but also really sad if I understood it correctly: she feels that if he discovers that the fish is not there anymore he might lose interest on her. I really like how aware of their actions are the characters, like Manaka feeling bad for yelling Hikari since she knows he worried for her, or Chisaki when she thought about Kihara and Manaka getting together so she could be with Hikari. Not allowing people who left the water to marry with someone from the land to come back is... wow, I feel so much for Hikari's sister, she should be allowed to be happy and not having to worry about the anger of everyone around, I also really liked the scene where she was eating with Hikari and their dad, where he wanted to ask her about that person she's meeting but changed his mind after seeing her sad smile while watching that kid on TV and her wish to have a kid too. If episode 1 was a nice introduction, this second took a step up and was even better, all around fantastic episode. |

| Hikari and Tsumugu are polar opposites in personality. Hikari is outgoing hothead while Tsumugu is very reserved. I wonder how their relationship will progress... Things got serious quite fast at the end there. It looks like all 26 episodes are going to be packed with plot judging from the pacing. |
| The setting isn't all that well thought. The underwater village looks just like your average above ground village but with fishes swimming through. You can even drink underwater! |

| All this pseudo-NTR makes me go crazy. But I kinda like that they have this "nationalist" side. It gives the story some drama that makes me quite happy because I hate the surface guy. |
