There is a very thin line between predictable and asspull, you need to foreshadow stuff if not it could lead to a deus ex machina but if it is foreshadowed to much its to obvious and the reader isnt suprised anymore.

Of course something could be unpredictable and if its good enought explained afterwords its still good, the problem regarding SnK is that i wanst suprised by the "twist" that Zeke outsmarted Eren and Ymir lacks depth/explanation in every way.

>Ymir lacks depth/explanation
Ymir isn't even an established character. Why the fuck do you need depth for every goddamn character that gets its face shown? I'm pretty much sure this is the first chapter (well, apart from a couple of panels in 115) in which Ymir got screentime. How the fuck did you expect to get an explaination right away? Either ways, it would get criticized for poor pacing.

Zeke outsmarted Eren. Nice. We don't even know what Zeke said was correct or wrong because he could have activated the founder powers right away if needed.

My dude pls read what i wrote before hating on my objectively right opinion.

1. "Guess i can't judge the ending as a whole yet"
2. "If he is capable of tying everything togther in those idk 20 chapters, but i just doubt, i experienced many series dying because of rushed endings.
He needs to explain so much shit, Time thingy, Anni, Levi and Hange,Ymir and every Character arc needs to end etc..."

Zeke breaks Karl Fritz 'vow' just by being with Yimir in paths demension? Jesus Christ Shingeki No Asspulll strikes agian. This is so retarded. 1/5 chapter

cant be affected by vow if he was never affected by it in the first place , as it mentions he the first one to reach the place without being tainted by the vow .

and who says he telling the truth he could be lying

Finally we can understand the memories of Eren Kruger about Mikasa and Armin (when Grisha and he talk on that wall). And I suppose Eren and Zeke put together all the memories (a kind of summary?) to reach the end and we could understand.
I'm not disappointed, but I don't really like Violet and it seems she provokes all the disasters (it's not the next heroine for me).

I'm a little confused about "the founder Ymir": does she really want to change her original promise (not to be in war with the world)? And has she created this "space", so Eren and Zeke can explain their reasons each other? I hope they could reverse the last titans conversion to normal eldians (I really like Dot Pixis character...).

I have the theory that Historia will interact with Eren to save the inner walls world too.

Sorry for my poor English

How could Zeke be suprised by his dad's memories? Had he not seen them himself before he met Eren, or did he just wait for Eren to come, so he could show them and hope that it would make his point? Because that's just stupid.

How the hell would he see them himself before he met Eren? The memories are in the Attack Titan, which is with Eren.

With that final panel I got the feeling that, from the very beginning, it was Eren showing Zeke all this stuff while making Zeke believe it was the other way around.

Why would Zeke be shackled by the vow, just because he is of royal blood anyway? I thought the vow only manifested when someone of royal blood inherits the founding titan.

I liked this chapter, why are you all complaining so much

It was an awesome chapter. People just try to act like hipsters and hate on the popular thing. It's par for the course on MAL and it's really sad.

Man this website really sucks ass. I was thinking I could have an interesting discussion about this chapter but most of the comments are these stupid kids just shitting on the manga, pretending to have some refined critical sense and unironically thinking they understand more about the manga than it's own creator who had all the story planned from scratch.

Bingo! We have a winner!

Nice chapter after the mess that was last chapter.
I like the way they are traveling through Eren memories. Its beautiful.
Eren saying "because I was born into this world" was really cringe and it came out of nowhere. Was expecting an epic betrayal so it felt meh...
A bit surprised that Eren cant actually control the founding.
As for Ymir, it actually makes sense that she is just a mindless zombie.
Good chapter it felt short.

Awwhwhh yes!!!
"Because I was born into this world" Soooo fucking happy when he said that omfg

And then Zeke tried to undue Erens "brainwashing" on himself

But in turn hes seeing all the memories that Eren had access too, and of course, Greisha could actually see Zeke there because he had access to Erens memories.

I love how time doesn't even apply to memories with the way the titans work. You can see any memory, anytime. Its fucking beautiful.

Okay, this Chapter just flew by.

I've no idea what to expect anymore.

Grisha talking to Zeke and clearly seeing him for a second too reminds me of Kruger saying the names of "Armin and Mikasa".

I wonder if the theory of Eren sending back memories to the past is true after all, then...

Zeke is in the control of the Founder? That's bad, really bad. But looks like maybe traveling across Grisha memory will help Zeke change his mind.

Hopefully Zeke will change his mind on his own. He did have to hear that his plan was stupid. Maybe Ymir's on Eren's side and she tricked Zeke.

Very instant chapter as the title said. Eren and Zeke seeking about the past of their dad. This should be a key for the whole story of Shingeki.

Interesting to see how all the pieces of Eren's memories are in one panel and Ymir seems mindless heh? Nice how we got flasbacks of Eren and Zeke's father to see the cause of his manipulation.
