| I kinda sorta like the general direction of Shishigami's character progression and the dynamic of his and Shion's relationship... ??? I mean, I get the general idea why people don't understand how she could be "OK" with his history of murder, but I think the message is clear, even if a bit trite: there's room for anyone to change when shown love. And Shishigami's attachment to his mother, his willingness to come to terms with his new identity in a more humane way, set his character up for this arc. It was already made clear affection is his anchor. So I guess I hope the proceeding events don't go the predictable route by repeating the events with his mother's suicide. I'd rather see Shishigami's change be permanent. |

| Shion's complete unconditional acceptance of Hiro despite what he is or what he'd done had convinced him to turn to a new leaf by helping those in need to make up for all the lives lost in his sadistic and mostly random killing spree. That didn't mean that the authorities would get off his case though. There's a strong chance both granny and Shion would turn out to be collateral when their residence gets swatted... If Inuyashiki found out about his efforts of penitence saving more than he had killed, I wonder if that would change his opinion of him even for a little bit. |

| Glad to see that Hiro is finally putting his powers to good use by healing others who were on the verge of death. Maybe if he continues, he can be 'human' again. And the flying scene with shion, pfft it reminded me of I hope the FBI don't accidentally injure or hurt Shion and her grandma in the next episode. >~< |

| Shion the girl is actually falling for a mass murderer? Seriously? I guess she's a lunatic too if she's housing another lunatic. Hiro is changing again due to a woman. Hiro saving lives and Inuyashiki being absent from the entire episode was a huge 180. And with that, I'm starting to see the flaws of this anime. It's way too short for the type of story it's trying it tell. At least it's binge-worthy. Very unfortunate. Peace isn't everlasting. I guess Hiro will be forced to keep killing. |
| I think the reason people are considering it a "sudden change of heart" (when it's NOT, far from it) is because they don't understand his character. He only cares about a small number of people and when he does, he obsesses with the idea of (over)protecting them and keeping them happy (Ando, his mother and now the girl and grandma). But aside from that, he doesn't give a shit about people, he's still a psycopath. He doesn't care whether they live or die, he just does stuff whenever and however he feels like it. He's careless like that Vindicater said: No he had a change of heart when she cried not to be left. He is using her to replace his mother because even psychos need to feel loved. the fact he asked her after saving all those people if she liked that kind of thing. He is a complete and utter nutjob. | Teenage love is dangerous xD I mean being head over heels for a psychotic murderer like Hiro makes this girl a psychopath too, but still this isn't the first time when we've seen something like this, at least in anime. Though that change of heart is too sudden to feel otherwise for Hiro. Good that he's saving people, but guess those days are over now. As it seems japanese have sent a special operations group to get rid of Hiro.. as if it would do anything to him but still. |

| Step over gramps, here comes Hiro the Hero! Nah for real though, Shion's desperate wailing that goes against Hiro's expectations completely puzzled him. Hiro's twisted personality could be swayed so easily so long as one empathizies completely with him, lmao. Her desire for Hiro to stay with them surpasses even her need to stay alive, despite the precarious situation she's in, she completely empathises with Hiro's predicament and is willing to shed a stream of tears for the fact that nothing can be done. Or at least that's what she thought. There is no doubt that Hiro's actions thus far were vile, but although he can never truly be forgiven for his sins, he might as well try to redeem himself by saving more than those he has ended. Now Hiro is in the same boat as Inuyashiki, although Hiro is far more open regarding his benevolent deeds by using social media to spread the news of his miraculous services. I wonder whether Inuyashiki and Andou even knew Hiro was doing all of this. But of course, Hiro is still a fugitive at large, one that the government is dying to capture. Yet again, just when he has gotten a change of heart, reality snapped back. |
