There's also Ronja whihc has been one of my favorite anime of the past 2 seasons, it's only low because it has CGI, the characters are lovable and well-written, the backgrounds are beautiful (Ghibli) and the story is very good and emotional. |

Mainly because Oyama doesn't have 10+ entries in the DB and also because the challenge says staff member and he's an independent director. @Aqeha: It just means that you have to pick some director, animator or voice actor that has worked on more than 10 different series and watch something they worked on early in their career. For example a Shin-chan Movie for Yuasa, Future Boy Conan or Horus: Prince of the Sun for Miyazaki would be legitimate choices. |

Aside from what I mentioned (especially Future Boy Conan), Dezaki's Ie Naki Ko (see above) also fits the bill since it's one of his earlier works. |
