Also since we're 1/3 done with the series, I'd like to do make a prediction on what chapter they leave off on: So in 8 episodes we've covered 14 chapters. So let's say they continue this trend till the end. So at episode 16 it will be 28 chapters and then at episode 24 that would mean ending on chapter 42. So I think my guess of it ending at chapter 38 isn't too far fetched, so I bet the pace will slow down in some of the upcoming episodes which will be great! |

I neglected to count how many people were in NR; I automatically excluded Akame and Tatsumi since I expect them to have plot armor for a while. Still, I got my answer already, and it's good to hear they'll at least be changing things up for the next episodes. |

| I still don't get the golden rule "Once Imprial Arms clash, one of them is bound to die" They could just stop fighting and walk away, couldn't they? Plus, I don't think Liver use his imperial arms correctly He should first get HIV and then use that blood blade technique to inject his HIV blood to his enemy's body |

| Oh, Bulat. So your time in Night Raid was not that long huh? Damn. Well, another member says goodbye. He will be missed. So Tatsumi inherited Incursio from Bulat. He has his own Imperial Arms now. He was kinda awesome wearing it. He should be powerful enough to be on par with some Night Raid members. Kurome was there too. If both Akame and Kurome would meet, it will surely be a bloody one. I'm a little excited of the next episode because Esdeath and Tatsumi will meet. |

| They mentioned that Incursio transformed to fit Tatsumi, what exactly changed? I was hoping to be able to tell the difference in the anime (via color) but even the color didn't really change much. The animation this episode was a decent, but I wonder how Bulant was able to shout under all that water. Tatsumi got his Teigu (Relic/Imperial Arm), and boy was that transformation amazing. |

| Ok, now I consider this far from being a coincidence. It was too naive of my part to think until now that this could be a coincidence... It's clearly a reference, a great reference. Same "aniki", same punch, same voice actor, same episode 8, similar feelings. Now I wish that Akame Ga Kill! reach the level of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, or even greater! |

| Liked of the fights in this episode, I thought it would have a little more of sentimentality, but it was good so, Bulat was fuck to the end and Tatsumi inheriting Teigu of Bulat and easily winning his fight, and at the end still had the appearance of Kurome, the anime estrará in a good bow now, Esdeath appears quite .. |

| The girl at the end is clearly Akame's sister. I don't know shit about the manga and still find that easy to figure out. Ugh, killing two characters in the first 8 episodes? I dunno if that's a good move, but it increases my expectations of the series exponentially. Killing one character early on is just trying to shoehorn in some fake depth; killing TWO characters early on means shit's going to go down and your favorite character can die at any point. Plus, Bulat's death was a lot more thrilling than Sheele's. R.I.P. Bulat. ;-; |

| Guess i'm a little late here.Great episode and all.What i really wanna know is the name of the song that's playing in the beginning of the episode where they show the preview of Bulat fending off the 3 beasts. I've think i heard it somewhere else but none of the previous episodes have it.Would be really happy if somebody helped me out here. Edit:I found out its also in the fight scene of episode 1. |

| The action felt awkward to watch. Disappointing. I'm glad to see a lot of people, especially anime-only watchers are enjoying the show now. For me, the manga will always be better, probably because I read it first. The anime just doesn't do the manga justice imo. Poor animation, a forgettable OST, and gravity defying blood? | I think that this death was a lot more emotional than the other person (I've already forgotten her name). I believe that the writer tried to make the woman's death as emotional as possible, but her development was way to rushed. On the other hand, I felt that Bulat's was a little more emotional because we got to see his development through most of the series. However, the death wasn't as impactful as other deaths in anime IMO. I can't wait until the next episode... time for Esdeath heheheheh. |
