| just to put it out there, this may have also been overlooked but. Saber's capture happened just the previous day. in case your wondering how long she's actually been held captive and why caster hasnt turned her over yet. |

| Episode that leaves me a little confused, should I say dissatisfied, although this is not really a beginning but a continuation; that's why the atmosphere was not so exciting. Not so for designs for the sets, really wonderful as quality. |

| Ugh, Rin and Shirou interactions are as awful as ever. I'm not sure if I can handle it, it seems to be progressively getting worse. This betrayal feels very wishy washy, whether it's for real or a pretend. Meh start. 3/5 |

| Pretty good episode, moved at a brisk pace. The scenes transitioned well enough into the anime, I think. Kind of get the feeling that what triggered the betrayal was Rin saying that maybe Shirou could get Saber back. I don't really remember exactly how that played out in the VN, but the way this was handled felt kind of different to me. To be honest, I kind of like it better than the VN where his betrayal just felt out of the blue for me and not in a necessarily good way. |

| Have you watched the Bluray version for the 1st cour BTW? You should, as they removed the dimming in the action scenes and added a couple of new scenes in episodes 0,1 and 12. Watching UTW's subs are more than recommended. |

| Plot twist by Archer, Saber being...that, Shirou doing more and quicker projections (Thanks Archer) and ShriouxRin. I liked the song of the OP, Brave Shine. I have already listened, and the TV version rest short in comparison. The full version is better. |
