| Case in point: Akame ga Kill ep 12 (most recent ep) Nipples are the sexiest part of the breast, so I guess I could see why some guys get aggrivated when that happens. Its more frustrating when they acutally show the full breast but no nipple, instead of censoring part of the breast with shadow, light beams, steam, etc. Well, I'm not really aggravated when it happens though. You can usually find some doujins for a lot of different anime. Well, if its a very new anime (and possibly not a very popular one) you might not be able to find some .. |

| It does look weird. But I don't take strong offense to it. The only reason I can see for nipples not being drawn is censorship. Maybe they look at nipples as being an erotic part of breasts. But they're already not maintaining a woman's modesty by showing them naked. |

| Yes, it does annoy me. Slightly, anyway. If you're going to show full nudity, you need to go all the way and show nipples! If you aren't going to show nipples, you should at least have a reason to not show them (such as hair or some object covering it). |

I mean, male nipples are never questioned morally, whether in anime or real life, only female nipples, so shouldn't that prove that it's NOT the nipple that is the issue? The only difference is that female nipples are sitting on a lump of fat, so that must be the part that is morally questionable. So if anything, we should be leaving female nipples intact and instead covering up just the lump of fat they are sitting on. |
