| HXH it was my biggest obstacle cause theres awsome gimmicks, plot lines and action sequences.....but most of the main characters are jarringly ugly. it says a lot when the main character looks 1000% better just by ditching his big dumb green coat. at least in naruto theres character motivation for naruto wearing the orange jumpsuit cause he's wants to stand out and is desperate for attention. |

| How about every time clothing curves upward underneath a girl's boobs? It's stupidly common in anime character art, and frankly I find it kinda ugly. It looks weird for both loose-fitting clothing and skin-tight stuff, and it certainly doesn't match real-life designs for stuff like one-piece swimsuits/leotards/bodysuits either. |

| I know It is bad to judge a book by its cover, but in any show with action, fight and deathflag, if most of characters look like they come from a cosplay convention, pop music bands, lolies, or highschool hotties, even if the show has an excellent plot, writting, and good stuffs, I can't simply watch it. Like in many current Isekai animes, Fate franchises, Rokka no Yuusha, Blazblue, Final Fantasy-like styled shows, even it's fantasy, It's too silly for me to imagine those thin good-looking, in over-stylized clothes,with rainbow-hairstyle and sometimes, with over-sized weapons, in a world of wars, battles, and deaths. It drives me nuts seeing those dolls beating the crap out of bigass better-designed opponents/monsters. Plus; those charac-designs have no "primal beauty" in them. They're empty, souless, aseptic like dolls...Even the backgrounds of the animes they come from look stylized and "tamed". I tend to spit my dishonest poison on shonens but most of them have an unique, vibrant, interesting charac-design. At least, I let them that. |
Food Wars with people w their hair being a different color of their eyes. Couldn't really vibe w it. I really liked erinas design but it was kinda hit or miss. Jojo looks a bit cringe as well. |

| I don't like it when characters are 'shiny' and/or have too much colors that just don't fit. Hetalia's character design change suffered from that, DGray Man Hollow similarly.They just look cheap to me. The new Sailor Moon also feels off. I hate the character designs of angels in Shingeki no Bahamut even tho the anime is one of my favourites. They all look like hoes to me. I'm also not keen on some over exaggerated designs, like too big anime eyes or hair. Things like that kept me away from some popular anime like BNHA and One Piece. |
