| It is getting better after every episode. I'm enjoying it. Just imagine the opposite if a boy rapes unconscious girl, then people would make big deal out of it. | Kenta is kind of stupid. I don't think he should have slapped anyone, even though she was being crazy. But at the same time, why would he say that he'll make the rule to protect that girl? Wouldn't a better rule be that the King isn't allowed to kill anyone anymore? That way everyone can continue having sex with one another and no one dies. Nobuaki should have mentioned this. Who cares about what happened to Naoya, just talk about how you shouldn't make rules about protecting others when they're going to die. I kind of wish they just focused more on this story, because the manga hasn't been translated yet and I want to know what is going to happen to these guys. I think the psychological damage that might come from Naoya being raped by his friend instead of Chiemi, might have caused him to kill himself regardless. It might not be right, but I can see Naoya having an easier time adjusting to the fact that he had sex with Chiemi and not Nobuaki. Plus, knowing the King they probably wouldn't have accepted the other way. If Nobuaki did it and the King said, "Didn't count." And Naoya died, then Nobuaki would go crazy and might kill himself. |

| So another episode that was +/- retarded, but still not as bad as the previous one xD I will be honest, i'm watching this anime with a friend and we are always laughing when something "bad" happens, like...this is so retarded, some of the situations that happen are so stupid. It was so obvious that her punishment wasn't death...but no, i better throw myself out the window. I wonder what Naoya will receive now as punishment. Oh and btw, if he really wanted to save his friend he could have been the one that had sex with him, the King never specified that it must be a girl, just saying xD But i felt really bad about his gf, so bad that she died. Kenta seems to be the only guy with a brain, and that other girl tries to use her brain sometimes. I will now only watch it to see how it ends, but i hope it will get better...but after 3 eps i don't think so xD |

| so much drama. it can rival up to korean dramas in the drama aspect, except k-drama executes it way better than this show does. characters are hatable. can they just stop fucking crying? main guy is a fucking bitch. makes a decision then cry about it later moaning how he's a horrible person for making that decision. be more fucking decisive and grow a backbone. if you feel bad about it then don't make that decision in the first place! | Read what was released of the manga years ago (was never finished in English, afaik) and it's a pity the presentation is so godawful. The art is too basic (inferior to manga), the budget worsens it by making everything look cheap-tacky and the direction is amateurish; like the scene at very start of ep1 which didn't set mood at all with random underwater limb removal. It jumps from past to present on a whim and the scenes don't flow well at all, resulting in some confusion in ep2. And the dullard lead always seems on verge of tears. Although the premise is absurd and the writing overtly OTT anime, this did have potential. I get what people are saying about the NTR overload that would be more in place in a hentai, but that's exactly what intrigued me about it: a survival game series where 'pure wuv' is shat on by the cold hard realities of wanting to keep living. Light, trashy entertainment if nought else. But it's hard to be entertained in a good way when you havethe likes of that blood splatter lol when the girl jumped through the window. ...Eh, I might keep watching to get closure. As messy as it is, I do kinda like the idea of telling two stories at once. Just a pity about the execution. |

Conclusion: it is only played for lame shock factor <.< |

| w h a t. looks like mal updated the episode count and now i'm even more baffled by the inclusion of the original series in the episodes. barring episode 1 these past two episodes have been 3/4 flashback with barely any progression with the plot. while the flashback made a little more sense this week in terms of integration i can't see the logic behind supposedly animating both series in a such a choppy fashion. it becomes impossible to take things seriously and we don't feel a thing watching these people die given the lack of context. i can't imagine how the series will go on to execute the current ousama game while maintaining the trend of having each episode be dominated by flashbacks. when i first read the manga i thought that kana couldn't bear the idea of confessing to her crush (maybe he was a customer? someone else otherwise forbidden and too embarrassing to admit?) so i was willing to accept her suicide as a means to escape that. however, watching things play out in the animation finally allowed me to grasp the scene fully (apparently) and it's honestly so farfetched. with the lengths she was willing to go to survive, killing yourself before your punishment even comes seems ridiculous. i would understand seeing a gruesome death as your upcoming punishment and then trying to kill yourself before that happens, but this was just so impulsive. i'm okay with kenta and i'm glad that there's finally someone not giving into the hive mind, but honestly. if he really orders himself to do that i'll be speechless. where's the logic. the orders aren't absolute. you have to try your best if you don't want to be punished, but ultimately using the order as a symbolic gesture to prove your conviction seems foolish to me. but then again, these characters clearly aren't logical. honestly at this point i'm only sticking around because i'm a sucker for series like this where one of x outcomes is going to occur (ie who survives) because my curiosity gets the better of me. though at some point i may just have to give up and read synopses to see who makes it out alive. |

The order didn't specify who or that it had to be heterosexual (Lolol). Sad he had to be knocked out and raped though.
