I actually prefer how anime can create deep relationship dynamics without bringing romance or lust into the fray. Everyday at least 1 top post is NSFW/ecchi fan art of whatever waifu happens to be in season or sexy anime cosplayers dressing up as said waifus. Even on MAL, there is a very vocal part of the community that proclaim a deep love for all things lewd/ecchi and will not be afraid of attacking those who look down on their tastes. |
