| 10-) When the anime/manga uses too much Pokemon Arcs. Going to nowhere places->Helping unknow characters->Beating the badguys->Making a party->Going to an other nowhere place->... Like in many Shounens. 9-) When the badguys, even the most badass one, do nothing when goodguys use last-breath attacks. Like Lucci-Eneru from One Piece, Shyn Sheron from Dragon Ball GT. 8-) When Katanas are the Absolute Weapons, where anyone holding this blade become a sword-master in 2 months. 7-) When powers/skills/magics are become too godlike. Like many shounens again and many Mechas like TTGL. 6-) When the plot is "Highschool vs Fantasy" crap. 5-) When Fanservice (erotic or bloody) takes too much place. Like To Love Ru, Highschool of Dead,etc... 4-) When It has an abuse of "Power of Friendship" or "Mankind is the Greatest Race of Creation" Like Fairy Tail, Dragon Quest: Dai Quest,... 3-) When It has a (mostly male) Big-Head jerk hero or/and a (mostly female) Psychotic bitch/ Samurai Schoolgirl Like Kamina, Zekka, Dark Scheinnder, most of Akama ga kill female characters, Yuno from Mirai Nikki,ect.. 2-) When the charac design is always the same "pretty thin teenage emo/loli characters with odd clothing and horrible hair" Like Sword Art Online, Blazblue, Tales of and Shining franchises, nearly every Nomura Tetsuya works... And the biggest turn-off for me in an anime/manga is.... 1-) When It has a teenage character ganbanking huge badass monsters by itself like nothing... Because: -I always fell sorry for those creatures who are just here to be raped... -I'm sure I'll find nearly all others points above... Like Blood-C, Fairy Tail, Crimsom graves, Sword Art Online etc... I think I can resume all of those by one: when the anime/manga is going to be over-the-top. |
