I am curious, what do you think is the best way to look at that which we call life? Is it something to enjoy? something to makes us stronger for the afterlife? or something else entirely? Please do not take this as trolling or a means to offend, this is meant to be a serious thread with the purpose of rousing thought As for me,I see life as a difficult, yet rewarding journey, finishing with me becoming nothing.

It's a thing, I can tell you that. Not really sure what else I can tell you about life. Maybe living. But life itself, hmm. It's rather nebulous, isn't it?

So, living. It's subjective I suppose. I mean, I have some idea of how I want to live my life, but I couldn't give you guidelines for your life. But about me, is being a pessimistic romantic possible? If so, that would be how I tend to go about my life. Although it seems to be shifting towards realistic romantic lately. Or is that too contradictory? Contradictions aside, in accordance with that shift, I tend to both dream and long for the many potentially wonderful and beautiful things that could happen, create some expectations. And then act as if that's all silly, while accepting that I myself enjoy that silliness, so it must be alright in some respect. If I'm trying to be concise this early/late, I acknowledge the fact that my mind tends to view my life along two paths, one which is romantic, dramatic, and a wonderful story filled with tragedy and beauty. And the other which views my life as average, predictable, and interesting only in my imagination. I debate with myself along these two viewpoints when considering ideas, decisions, etc. (I write in dialogue with myself)

Life for me is to at least experience all the good things a normal person would be able to and learn all the new interesting discoveries/inventions/creations possible in this lifetime. Earning as much money as possible isn't something I think life is worth pursuing for, but at least enough to enjoy the simpler things I like to do. As it probably has been said, enjoy the journey, not the destination.
