They clearly showed that people werent racist at Mermaids at the middle class levels, so why can't they live together? Maybe she likes it there or that starfish is a douche. Best moment: Sharley takes a smoke and in a tensed atmosphere says that its better not know the future. A few seconds of silence... Luffy: So how about this: Do mermaids poop? *Roaring laughter* |

| Hm, i've read the manga but i've so many unanswered questions! How will Luffy destroy fisherman island? Hes for sure going to destroy it, no doubt about it. In the manga I had my doubts because the pirate with the strawhat was in the shadows but now its so obvious it is Luffy. Fisherman island will BURN! How the heck is this going to turn out. Hm? Big Mam is currently protecting the island? WHat if Luffy doesn't something stupid to piss her off create a major conflict? |

I know what happens but seeing as to how I am the person who opened up this topic, I felt it was fitting to start it off with that, somewhat of a review of what we watched and saw in this episode and to spring up a discussion on possible theories of whats going to happen and whether or not Luffy will or will not destroy fish man island. Was I wrong in doing so lol? |

| I thought I never see a single Okama in the anime after the crew left the Sabody Archaeology, but I totally forgot about that scene. Crud. Well Sanji got his blood and the crew is split, yet again. Decent slow paced episode, good to see Edward Elric... I mean Madam Sharlay animated. Can't wait to see the next episode with King Neptune to be honest and his palace shot is going to be epic! Again Caimie is doing her funny face again, still hilarious. As for her prediction that Luffy will destroy the Island. She only took a peek, didn't look more than that, surely she is misunderstanding or just saw something out of context. Next episode pl0x. |

It's either he'll change her prophecy once she tells him, or she'll do something to stop him from doing it. |

| Sanji is just an absolute Okama magnet lol So seems like Luffy might be destroying Fishman island...I'm guessing it's either not gonna happen, or the destruction will be more like a "rebirth" for the Island without all the shady stuff with Hody Jones going on in the background?? Big Mom also got mentioned this episode, and she's taken over from Whitebeard in protecting Fishman Island...taking candy as compensation. Also, I might be reading too much into things here, but why the hell does Big Mom's pirate flag have Sanji's eyebrow swirls on it??? like, wtf! XD |

| This was an episode packed full of information. But first, poor Sanji. He got messed up over these two years. Women now overwhelm him he was so starved, and now he has trauma over the okama of the world.. dreaming and having nightmares, fantasizing and screaming back to back. He will need some real therapy and rehabilitation, but luckily Chopper is at his side. It's quite amazing how happy everyone was he woke up to begin with, this was a near death situation over a joke which bridges this gag to plot relevancy, nice! I must say though, the okama fellows that donated blood to Sanji were human, and rarely any humans come by anymore. I would wager they will be weirdly important going forward. I had actually forgotten about Caribou, so much has happened. The mermaids, and specifically the one who put Sanji into the hospital unleashed Caribou into the world and appear to have gone missing. We mustn't forget about him, maybe this prophecy for the annihilation of the island will involve many parties and some unfortunate circumstances, Caribou, Vander Decken, Hody Jones, the Straw Hats, Jimbei, and the Neptune family/army.. There's a lot at play and I think it's interesting to wonder what the true threat will be and who the unlikely allies who want to stop it will be too. Vander Decken was chased away from his home by sending threatening love letters so he's an obvious choice for someone plotting to make everyone suffer, whereas Hody Jones group are pro-fishman and racist towards humans, I can't imagine they'd want to end their own hometown. There's too little we know to make proper predictions but it is interesting. So the little details..
With Sharley's prediction that also brings up something interesting. Hawkins and Sharley both predict the future with different means but it seems far different from observational haki. I wonder if the world of One Piece is a determined one, and whether or not the situation Sharley saw can be changed will show that.. Her seeing Luffy standing in flames definitely doesn't paint the whole story but it does show he will be in the center of it all.. |
| Luffy continues to flex the results of his training by showing that he doesn't even have to bat an eye when it comes to fighting grunts like Hammond! I doubt that Luffy will end up being the one who'll destroy Fishman Island but his eventual conflict with the New Fishman Pirates definitely makes it a possibility. |
