I've been going through a ... egg fixation recently (which is surprising considering I don't like eggs), and was wondering what you guys like in your omelettes?
I have tomato, onions and mushrooms.

Eggs.

I can stand a cheese omelette once in a while, but keep it simple.

Cheese and parsley. Bacon doesn't go astray on occasion. Onion very rarely (never use a whole onion for one so only do it if I happen to have a bit left over from something else, which is rare).

Tomatoes, cheese, dill, sausages, occasionally bell peppers or mushrooms. For something more unique, try adding white bread or mix your eggs with some ketchup.

Everything but the kitchen sink. It's not an omelette unless it's loaded with pepers, mushrooms, sausage, cheese, bacon, anything you can think of.

Bacon, ham, sausage. But most importantly Cheese :D... Salsa sounds like it would be good in an omelette, I should try that..

Cheese!! Ahhh, you have to have cheese in every omelette.

I used to be really experimental with omlettes but I gave up, since all of my favourite foods - chocolate, ice cream, cookies, toffee... - didn't seem to work well at all....

Um... never eaten one... omelette? I hope I interpreted teh sentence wrongly or something. Otherwise.. please mix something (you can try one of the many suggestions in this thread) up with eggs and pour them over a pan over heat and gorge on it!! It's a bit sad not to have omelettes before >.<

Anyway, for me - tomatoes, oregano, bacon bits, ham bits, minced meat, pickled white radish (this is something cultural I think), and onions are one of my top choices :D:D

And yeah what's with the cheese? I've gotta try it tomorrow.

I'm kinda hungry now.

I still have doubts about the ketchup method, it's not quite enjoyable but not bad either. It's an interesting thing that my taste buds can not handle.

I usually have mine with cheese & tomatoes sometimes jalapenos.

Chicken, provolone, some marinara sauce, or a stack of french toast. I personal like eggs, so when ever I have enough, I make the omelet, make some sunny sides, boil eggs, and make some scrambled, fuse the scramble and boiled eggs, then slap the sunny side in, with the egg mush on top. Of course, there is also a side of white rice too. I'ce actually made a taco using an omelet. I call it, the omlco. Taco shell+Omelet+various other= omlco.
