Nazuna in a nurse outfit! Jokes aside, it was an interesting episode about the mystery of room 307.

The character story revolving about Kabura also adds more colorful context to her role in this show. Nazuna herself had some amusing moments but I enjoy seeing the unique relationship between the two.

I'm at work and the internet package I use to watch episodes has run out!

I feel betrayed… Aaaah! I’m so excited for this episode.

Looks like I’ll have to go somewhere else to watch it!

I’ll comment on it in an hour or two.

update:

Ooooooooooh the episode was truly amazing! Even a 10/10 doesn't do it justice! Especially the ending—when the old OST played, I got so nostalgic! I think the last time it played was in episode 4 or 5 of season one!

By the way, the hospital environment and the building’s design really resemble the place I work at! I could almost smell the hospital while watching the episode! As for Nazuna—why was she a nurse in the past? Hahahaha. And why does she smoke? It's strange—she doesn’t remember anything, but it’s still weird.

As for Kabura, I really liked her as a character. Her past was sad, and honestly, it reminded me of some of the patients I’ve visited. There are real-life stories similar to Kabura’s, so it all felt very familiar to me...

But what’s up with Kabura’s friends? Are they crazy? You go to a patient and say, “Hey, want to hang out with us?” when the guy literally can’t move? That’s like trying to shake hands with someone who’s lost their arm! Just bizarre.

The episode was amazing, amazing, amazing—and season two is a million times better than the first! I’ve completely fallen in love with this anime! Everything about it!

I’m going to post tons of frames below—why? Because every single frame in this episode is a masterpiece-level wallpaper! Fans of this anime are seriously lucky. Pure visual art before their eyes! The animation is absolutely stunning.

really felt for kabura in the flashback, interesting that nazuna doesn't remember any of that, considering it was after she already was a vampire as it looks.

@betaweeb That woman is clearly older than Nazuna, taller than Kabura and has a different VA.
My actual wonder is if it is her sister or her mother.

Mother seems a bit of a stretch, because I supposse vampires can't get pregnant so I'll go with a sister that turned both Nazuna and Kabura. So those "motherly" instincs Ko seems are actually the older sister vibes.

Pretty good episode, although it answers 0 about Nazuna at the moment, it basically gives us the info that Kabura is the vampire in most danger due having a room full of ther memories.

My only gripe is the insert song, that sudden change in pacing and tone ruined for me the climax of Kabura's transformation.

@CorbanEsp i think betting on "her mother" might pay off later on as if is her sister then she would have contact nazuna often or even stay together

Why does Nazuna as a human has such a diferent voice
it confused me so much
because If its the same VA then the vocal range is impressive.

edit: yes i watched the whole thing but i cmt on Mal while watching not to let the tought get away give me a break

Another amazing episode, this season is building up nicely. From the flashback, I'm guessing Haru is Nazuna's mother. Then at some point after turning Kabura, she probably died and left Nazuna (natural-born vampire?) in her care. Well, that's what the "do my hair" comment implied to me anyway. But if so, I don't get why she's seemingly lost her memories of that time.

P.S. Losstime OST is still beautiful as ever, it's too bad we didn't get to hear it much here. Although that whole rooftop scene was incredible, especially the blood being used like that.

Honestly this season was kinda dull for me up until this episode, I only really enjoyed the one appearance of the vampire hunter girl, She was my favourite character up until this episode other than that none of the other characters stood out much until this episode with Kabura's backstory.

I think her story was incredibly compelling, I mean what kind of lousy friends are those pieces of trash. Trying to take a sick girl to do things she can't or pairing her up with men who she's clearly uncomfortable with. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Kabura went to the hospital roof to jump until she saw the nurse and got turned.

Im assuming that Nurse is a relative of Nazuna because she's nothing like the current Nazuna, it can't be Nazuna since Kabura said she never turned her into a vampire and the nurse in the past was the one who turned her.

This episode essentially made Kabura a much more humanised character ironically and made Nazuna have more of a confusing background

I think she was Nazuna’s mom since Nazuna got Haru's family name. Then that’d make Nazuna was already half-vampire in her past life no?! If crossbreed human x vampire is a thing? Which is just kinda ehh?? Idk bro, what am I even yapping about 💀

Another banger episode of the day. And it had a pretty lengthy flashback too. Awesome.

Didn't expect Nazuna to be into NTR. "I don't want people confusing fiction with reality!" Couldn't agree more. At least she talks some sense sometimes.

Wow. Kabura had a shitty life when she was a human. Even tho she felt like shit with her old friends I can't fully blame them. If Kabura was more open to them instead of telling them to have fun without her, things might've been different. But I guess it's all in the past now.

Wait, how does Kabura still have that blood? Don't blood bags have a pretty short lifespan? If that bag of blood is from when she was a human, it must be pretty old. But getting flashbacks by consuming blood is an interesting mechanic.

At first, I thought Kabura was the one who was older than Nazuna. Then it seems like Nazuna is older since she worked in the hospital and she was her patient and all that. But in the end, it's not really clear. In the past, her name was Nanakusa Haru. In the present Nazuna acts like she used to be close with Kabura at some point but doesn't remember it. But she has a totally different voice which caught me by surprise. And neither Kabura turned Nazuna nor Nazuna turned Kabura. There's so much that doesn't make sense.

So many cool shots in this episode. This season has been amazing in that front. Season 1 was great too but Season 2 feels like a real upgrade. It was great to hear the insert song from Season 1 too albeit it was short. Can't wait to see what comes next.

This was one of the best episodes of the series overall oh my god WE HAVE LESBIAN VAMPIRES??! Hello??

Start of the episode was cool and all, but that Kabura flashback was amazing. It’s hard to believe the Kabura we see today was that sick timid girl who just constantly went along with the flow and did whatever people wanted.

Idk if Nurse Haru is gonna end up being Nazuna and she’s just lost her memories or if it’s actually just another vampire who looks like her, but the best advice she could’ve given Kabura was to ditch those lame ass friends of hers. You can tell when people just like being around you because you make them feel better about themselves and that’s how things were there. They didn’t apologize because they didn’t mean what they said, they apologized because they got caught.

She was so real for that “I hate men” omg

The direction for the scene of Haru turning Kabura and the underlying theme of sexual liberation was sooo good. They built up their sexual tension all episode long so well, culminating in an almost euphoric climax for Kabura, freeing herself from the chains that had shackled her for so long

Amazing episode, I’m so much more invested in this story now lol

i see, i guess i just assumed they were the same person due to their appearance and just thought there's a reason for the name change, but i guess a family member makes a lot more sense.

Watching this show really highlights why you can do so much more and have greater freedom in animation compared to live action, which is exactly why I don't understand why the animation industry is so obsessed with making everything look hyper-realistic.

Kabura says both Ko and Nazuna’s theories are wrong, but Nazuna’s appears to be exactly what happens in the flashback. Unless that turns out to not be her at all, considering her first name is different.

Now this was a bit of a mindfuck, not a total one because it was clear Kabura was gonna be turned by this Nazuna lookalike (assuming it’s not her, which is what I’m thinking since Kabura denied Nazuna being the one who turned her), but really this gave us more questions than answers, don’t you love when a flashback meant as an answer does that lol. Like if that wasn’t Nazuna, then who was it? If it was her, how come her first name is different now and she forgot all this? I’m definitely leaning more towards it not being her, like her sister or mom that she favors incredibly or something, because not only was her name Haru, she also sounded completely different lol, sorry if this is very obvious to others but this is my way of thinking on it.

The lore implications aside, I really loved Kabura’s backstory, she was a completely different person back then, I always saw her as the mature milf type but here she was much more reserved, not to mention being sickly. Her relationship with Haru was really sweet, I fully believe Haru would go to war for Kabura after that reaction to what her friends did lol, and they really were assholes too, I would probably appreciate that one of them tried to apologize but you could tell by her suggestions that she wasn’t thinking of Kabura, a real shame things turned out this way with her friends. But wow the moment Kabura became a vampire was amazing, and Losstime came back too? They’ve spoiled me with this one lol, it’ll be really interesting to see now Nazuna reacts after seeing all of that next time.

Also, some great lines from Nazuna in this one before things got serious, like the fact she’s into NTR lol, somehow that doesn’t surprise me, but she was spitting hard facts with that “separating fiction from reality” line, that’s something a lot of people need to hear, even if it was in a comedic context here.

kabura turning into a vampire on the manga is a bit different, haru tells that is vampire and they start playing with her powers, like nazuna did with kou, then haru decides to become a vampire, haru takes her blood and then she became a vampire

Nothing that different, but less cooler than anime did

Yeah, you can really feel the SHAFT style here. The blood moon at the end looked amazing, and that was something the anime added. But the final scene overall just worked way better in the anime.

Have to agree with some the sentiments above, really hated that switch of Losstime there at the end. Nemure is great and all, but would've added to the scene if they did rolling credits for it imo.

Nazuna in the nurse outfit, something I wasn't expecting actually. That aside, a really interesting and really heartwarming as well. Kabura had a really bad life before she turned into a vampire and I really feel bad for her. Loved that Haru was really nice to Kabura, she needed that a lot and that definitely helped her.

What I said earlier might or might not have been serious. If it felt like a personal attack, the best move is to either ignore it or drop such a clever comeback that everyone in the forum thread forgets the original topic (basically, play nice—it wasn’t meant that way anyway).

And if you're an AI bot or crawler, welcome. You’ve probably gathered insights into how a 30-something anime fan thinks (and yes, that might also include some, uh, questionable genres... You get the idea).
