All of this stuff about finding yourself and what you really wanna do was pretty much what this arc was about. But yeah, Uzuki eventually losing her voice while performing in front of an audience which doesn’t even make up one-fifth of the count she wants to perform in front of, has to be really shocking, for anyone who’s on the course of “finding themselves”. I genuinely couldn’t care less about the performances of their group Sweet Bullet, but yeah, the episode can’t help with it as of course, Uzuki needs to realize how much she loved her group and these girls.

Though the girls really have bad luck, don't they? On both the occasions they performed in this episode itself, something or other had to happen lol. Anyway, this wasn’t even exactly a case of puberty syndrome, this was just Uzuki fighting with her inner struggles. Congrats to her she could sing along and to the people around her for realizing she can READ the room. Not the strongest of the arcs we saw from this series, but yeah that aside, I’m looking forward to the Santa girl role now.

It’s the day of Sweet Bullet’s joint live performance at Odaiba. Concerned for Uzuki, who’s still feeling unwell, Sakuta heads to the venue with Mai. As Sweet Bullet takes the stage, disaster strikes Uzuki loses her voice mid-performance.

The next day, Sweet Bullet is scheduled to perform at Hakkeijima, but without Uzuki, the band faces an uncertain future. Can they pull through as a four-piece, or will the absence of their missing member change everything.
No more plot lines for now.

Mai is becoming a high-maintenance girlfriend. Azusagawa-kun has to work hard to raise his standards to match hers, lol.

Is the ability to read the mood an advantage for an idol or not? The day of the joint concert in Odaiba featuring 'Sweet Bullet' arrived. For a romantic supernatural anime, this concert scene isn’t bad, even though the animation isn’t as smooth as Love Live. I do like the hand-drawn movements and CG from 'Sweet Bullet.'

Suddenly, Uzuki's voice disappears. The cost of being able to read the mood is losing one's voice, but it seems that this is an imbalance.

The cloudy sky in the anime signifies a sad storyline, and indeed, 'Sweet Bullet only performed with four members.' However, because of the overcast sky, a rainbow will appear. Uzuki performs with 'Sweet Bullet' and starts her solo debut, bringing 'Sweet Bullet' to Budokan. The decision to drop out of college is also quite mature.

Her puberty syndrome has passed, and she has returned to her original character... or at least she seems a bit more mature. That's good character development. Santa????

The end of this arc was sooo love live coded, sweet bullet spin off manga WHEN!? Kinda sad to see Zukki dropping out of school, but at the end of the day, pursuing your passions and doing what makes you happy with the people you love can’t be beat. Santa girl is finally here too! Finally we get to meet Kirishima Touko!!

Not me thinking my audio was bugging when Zukki voice cut out during the live lmao. I love how things got resolved. Zukki admitting that deep down she had a side that kinda looked down on the girls and knew they wouldn’t make it as things currently stood is real af. What she didn’t consider is that maybe it’s not just them that needs to change, but her too. Being more honest and going harder with the music, I.e dropping out of school. Struggling and finally finding success with your girls>>> going solo and having no one there by your side. Hits different when y’all got it out the mud together. Rooting for the girls to get to Budokan one day! Love their final performance so much ❤️

Can’t wait for the next arc to start!

Pro episode fr.

Thats Uzuki's arc done, and it wasn't a bad one. It was good but other arcs are better. Glad that she could sing along side with her group members. Miniskirt randomly appeared at the end but I'm pretty excited for whats to come next episode. Should be an interesting one thats for sure.

My head is full of 404 errors hahaha! Kairi is now working with Sakuta, Mai-san is driving, and there’s no fukashigi no carte theme like we had in Season 1… my brain is about to explode hahaha!

As for the concert and the singing and all that… believe it or not, I watched the episode **with no sound**. I watch a lot of episodes without audio, and this was one of them — simply because I can’t stand this type of anime. So the only thing left for me is to watch the CGI characters moving around in a funny way…

I remember telling a friend that I watched *Bocchi the Rock* with no sound and he almost had a heart attack and ended up in the hospital for some reason. Yeah… I just really dislike musical anime and singing in general.

To wrap up my comment — honestly, I’m excited about Santa showing up at the end of the episode! She finally met Sakuta, and I’m hoping we get more screen time for Futaba — she’s the one who made me like this anime in the first place!

See you next week for the new episode! Goodbye!

That was awesome when Uzuki finally got the courage, started singing, went up on stage with them, and the sun came out.

So no more Uzuki now?

That ending 👀 finally. Santa Claus. Kirishima Touko. That singer.

Great to see Mai participating more actively in the main conflict for once, even if she's not really doing much to help.

I saw Uzuki coming from MILES away, but it still got to me. Very cute and moving!

Interesting that we got apparent confirmation that Uzuki's Puberty Syndrome was in fact that, and not just a random flash of realization on her part. So little of her struggle felt supernatural. Or at least, the barely-freaky bits with weather could have been chalked up to coincidence.

The 3D CG in this episode stuck out to me like a sore thumb. Wasn't a fan of how ugly it looked.

Another great episode, I swear I love Sakuta and Mai so much. They both have things going for each other and they're always lifting each other up, that's how a couple should be, like them. They're goals.

It's funny that Sakuta is passenger princess too, seeing mai drive was pretty cool as well, I'm enjoying Uzuki's arc a lot and it was a good way to wrap it up.

The visuals were ok this episode, mainly the cgi with the car and live singers. But it was fine in the later half of the episode, you can tell they cut corners. But it's not anything to worry about, it was still amazing to watch

A drive date with Mai-san!! Sakuta got one upped by her again huh lol

Zukki's struggle is that she felt like she's leaving the group behind.
Was that the cause of her Puberty Syndrome? that she needed to fit in the group? that it shouldn't be just her being an air-head aiming for success while the others just follow through?
Good for her to come in terms with her emotions and realize that the group will struggle together with her to fulfill their dream, she can have her own solo activities while still being part of sweet bullet.

And Santa is here, and she just introduced herself as Kirishima Touko, that mysterious girl that Shoko-chan told Sakuta about. What does she mean by 'helping' Zukki read the room? does it have to do with the Kirishima Touko video being similar to Zukki's commercial?

So this entire arc could be boiled down to Uzuki having an early midlife crisis. However it's not just an ordinary midlife crisis, but a more special puberty syndrome midlife crisis

Zukki finally managed to break free from Santa's evil plan, good for her. It was sweet that the sky cleared when she decided to join the other Sweet Bullet members on stage, and now they can work towards their dreams together.

It'll be interesting to see where the plot goes with Touko Kirishima, since she's being built up a decent amount and the season itself is named after her. Being able to transfer Puberty Syndrome is something we haven't seen before, even if it was pretty simple in this case.

Great minds think alike every now and then. That was certainly the case when Mai turned up to take Sakuta on a driving date with her brand new car. It was cute to hear Sakuta wanting to do the same thing. =)

Uzuki was able to decide on what she wanted to do in the end. It was worrying when she lost her voice, but thankfully it was something she was able to recover from quickly. With her mind resolute, she has committed to going forward with the plan to take her solo, but also still being part of Sweet Bullet. At least this way, her dream of taking her bandmates to Budokan can still happen in the future.

While having her part of the story being wrapped up was nice, even if it meant quitting university altogether, there's still the question of a certain Santa Claus, who reveled her name to Sakuta as Touko Kirishima. She's going to be one interesting girl to follow as this series goes on.

Nah I get that but I don’t like dropping shows. Kinda kills the point just leaving it half way through the story so ima keep watching it.

It’s got its moments. I mean I hate it but it has its moments from time to time.

@Phantom_Void737 I can understand the completionist mentality, I don't typically like dropping an anime in the middle of a season. But afterwards, if I didn't enjoy it (e.g. Kakegurui), then I don't feel inclined to watch future entries. I guess it's different for everyone though.

Yeah that’s understandable, I just like the full experience. Take attack on titan for example. I enjoyed the first 2 seasons. It was nothing special but generally liked it.

But season 3+ I thought was really good. If I’d dropped it after s2 I wouldn’t have got that experience.

So it pays off to stick the course sometimes. Just not always.

Maybe Uzuki’s real puberty syndrome was being able to control the power AND the weather lol, but really the moment she joined the group onstage was a great scene, it really felt good after her talk with Sakuta in the crowd, I’ll ignore the fact they were talking over the performance while they weren’t even plugged in lol. Pretty nice conclusion to Uzuki’s arc tho, it may not have been the strongest arc in all of AoButa but I think it was a good one and a nice start to the season. And really it wasn’t just about Uzuki’s struggles, but Sweet Bullet as a whole too, so I think Uzuki choosing to quit college and put her all into her passions was a really good decision, it helps not just her own endeavors, but Sweet Bullet’s too.

It’s gonna be sad not seeing Uzuki around as much, but really when a girl’s arc is over, they kinda fade into the background anyway (unless her name happens to be Mai Sakurajima lol), so this is just a in-world reason for her to not be involved with Sakuta anymore. And oh yeah, I guess it was puberty syndrome she was dealing with after all, it really seemed like it might not be but she went back to the way she usually is here at the end, and then Miniskirt Santa herself showed up confirming she gave Uzuki the ability to read the room, so yeah so much for that theory lol.

But what Santa said was really interesting, she gave Uzuki the puberty syndrome? So is she giving out “gifts” like actual Santa? Also, she said her name is Touko Kirishima, which is pretty weird because I thought it was revealed that Uzuki was using that name (or did crunch mess up with the subtitles in the previous episode?), a bit confusing but I’m sure all will be revealed eventually, I’m excited to see who’s up next! And do my eyes deceive me, or is that Halloween in the next episode? I sure hope so lol.

1: sure, about 1 minute total runtime of that for the whole show. Monogatari is the exact opposite.
2: Nothing whatsoever happened. Also very unlike monogatari. And no paedophilia - also the total opposite, by the way.
3: shitty, awful, the worst. Take your pick.

I actually would say it is the other way around. Monogatari tried once to copy this show. It resulted in the Sodachi Oikura ark - the only ark of monogatari that is worth watching. But if you still insist that this is monogatari for those who aren't into paedophilia, i am fine with it as well. Whatever floats your boat.
