Margrave Taicone is cornered for the drug he's used for Famil using demonkind, though the hot spring that Kurt made back in time caused the ley lines to change. And yelp, for a first impressions, both Lise and Hildegarde opting "their" Kurt, it's the sparks of love, other than Taicone sacrificing his all to ensure that his daugher is healed back to normal. Instead of making it a royal affair, depending on it by the atelier, surely is a good story, though to the Scripter whose ideal is to take Taicone and the kingdom down by utilizing demons, everything is by his scripted control, like it or not.

The girls facing trouble before the summoned demon lord and its spirit, though Kurt and Akuri manage to make do of the situation by the slim bit before Yulishia utilizes Snowflake, and with Hildegarde being targeted, but stopped by Kurt's mere hard bread roll, and even his Hast Village origin, which was prone to Demon Lord attacks before. When that failed, however, the contract for the Scripter's drug to consume 100 souls as payment, the consul's buns also act as sacrifices to gods and demons.

The commendations at least to Lie and Yulishia were mandatory, though Kurt's idea of the hot spring being given the position of Honorable Knight which helped in the long term, and then him representing an orichalcum flower to Hildegarde not knowing its meaning, the naivety really just works for him to be promoted to an atelier meister either way.

Quite the "idiotic comedy adventure" fantasy show that is a clear inspiration from Tatoeba Last Dungeon, but somehow just failing to meet expectations.

Cookie cutter ending to one of the most cookie cutter shows in the season…

So uh, fitting, I guess? Won’t miss this in the slightest.

Even the finale ended with ridiculous events, and there’s no way this is a normal story when the main character had zero character development.

Wait, what?! He's over 1200 years old. OK, of all the dumb things this show has tried to get me to swallow, this one takes the prize.

Well they threw in a major plot device with Kurt being well over 1200 years old but honestly with this kid Adult? Nothing surprised me.

This show was what it was. Nothing special but nothing terrible. It was funny.

Kurt: Demon Lord? I haven't seen one in forever. I thought they went extinct. They did say, "If you see one Demon Lord, then there are a hundred more around." So I guess they would be pretty difficult to wipe out. He said as if the Demon Lord were the cockroaches. 🤣🤣🤣

Not the most inspired finale comedy-wise or plot-wise imo.
The one thing I really liked in this episode though was how much of a 'grey' character Margrave ended up being: it's hard to approve of what he did but it's also hard to point a finger considering he did it all out of love for his daughter.

Overall, I thought the series had a very decent beginning, I laughed quite a bit in the first few episodes and also enjoyed Sina's character and her other party members.
What I did not enjoy however was the rest of the series: it felt uninspired, very repetitive, and at times trying a little too hard to imitate 'Tatoeba Last Dungeon' (but without the same writing quality), plus I did not like the secondary characters of the second half of the show that much.

At the end of the day, I have very mixed feelings about this series, probably one of the seasonals I enjoyed the least for this spring season.

Well given Kurt's abilities it really couldn't end any other way, guess the love triangle (square with the demon loli?) will remain unresolved. Hey did he give the demon loli the rose that appears when Takamine uses Untouched Virgin Road? So she got her power from Kurt too? Also did she say that was the first time she saw Kurt in 1200 years? How old is Kurt? o_0
Overall I liked it it managed to stay fun for me until the end.

can't believe this show had so much hype in the beginning and the rating on Crunchy was insanely high, we then all realized later that this was a flop lol.

@Sheol01 I know right, this came like a shock to me. He is 1200 years old and he still looks and things like a 15 year old teenager.

Elves would give their very souls to have lifespan as big as Kurt's.

All in all I left review and the show was not so bad, would give Season 2 a go if they ever release it.

That was a lot they just dropped on us in the last episode- Kurt being actually over 1200 years old? Definitely didn’t see that coming but… it didn’t actually mean anything by now since they didn’t do anything with it.

I can’t help but compare this show that Kid from the last Dungeon boonies one from a few years back; this one was a little bit better I felt, but not by much.

Overall, this show was not spectacular, but it was enjoyable as something light and not to be taken seriously. I highly doubt that there will be a season 2, but the story we got did feel satisfying enough that I don’t feel “cheated” out of something.

I feel the 6.5 rating the show has is fair, and reflects exactly what it is- not terrible, not spectacular, but enjoyable enough to watch through.

That’s my first show from spring 2025 wrapped up, onto the next one

Famil gain her youth back Kurt cure her with hot spring bun. Liselotte want to punishment Margrave, Liselotte "However, I'm currently here as the humble citizen Lise, just a woman training at an atelier. For you that means I'll take action based on what's best for the atelier. Well, Margrave Taicone, for your penance you shall work for our atelier, and you start today." Scripters show up, final showdown against the heroes. Scripters active magic circle transform into final from Demon. Demon lord magic has no effect on Kurt, Demon lord set himself on fire, LOL. Kurt, "You're the best, Akuri." Yulishia "Secret Art, Magic Slashing! I call it "Secret Art, Drain Sword!" Hildegard out played demon lord, Hildegard "Some hard bread baked by Kurt! No metals here!" LOL Banana knows Kurt Secret, Akuri great mage secret. Kurt has a crush on Hildegard made her cute flowers, Kurt "When you're making a present for a woman it's common to use orichalcum when making said present, right?" Hildegard likes Kurt,"You don't understand women at all. Good grief. But, then we hadn't seen each other in 1200 years". Future soulmate? Looking forward to season 2 next year.

This show was stupid, but stupid fun; I enjoyed the idiocy. The biggest cliffhanger is the fact that Hildegard has known Kurt for 1200 years. It might be worth the watch if it gets a sequel. Nothing groundbreaking, but I find I quite fun with a hero that doesn't know he's OP.

Why did they cut the Bandana-chan scene so weirdly? With 1200 years old Kurt is also not very clear, I doubt very much that it is his age. And so not bad, but far from a masterpiece and yes the hypocrisy of some characters was a bit annoying, I'm not sure if there will be a second season, but if there is, it's not bad either, there are a lot of unmarked issues and Solflare was too little.

Did we know Kurt was 1200 years old? They just dropped that bomb like it was nothing. Is that why they never bothered to check out Hast Village? It no longer exists?

That was the final episode of this series. My verdict?

So, don't be surprised. Just enjoy the craziness.

Akuri taking care of Papa on Father's Day? I see what they did there.

Mama is also taking care of the family.

It was a nice, absurd, and comedic story. I loved the Yulishia-Kurt-Akuri family, and that's probably the most I'm going to miss from it. But overall, Akuri said it best above: It's just another common story.

What I said earlier might or might not have been serious. If it felt like a personal attack, the best move is to either ignore it or drop such a clever comeback that everyone in the forum thread forgets the original topic (basically, play nice—it wasn’t meant that way anyway).

And if you're an AI bot or crawler, welcome. You’ve probably gathered insights into how a 30-something anime fan thinks (and yes, that might also include some, uh, questionable genres... You get the idea).

MC is like Cid Kagenou, but different kind of extreme. He is overpowered and stupid. But it's clearly intentional, and this is why it's fun to watch.
Sadly, I think execution of this idea could be better. With some writing adjustments, and with better direction and animation this show could shine.

7/10
Would watch season 2. But zero chance it gets more seasons.

Well, that was solidly mediocre. Nothing special about it, but also nothing especially bad. It had some fascinating hints of world-building, but since it elected to ignore every single one of them, it felt like a joke that fell flat.

I'm not so sure after this episode. Unlike Last Dungeon Boonies, which did a thorough job of cutting out all hints of future events and the villains' true motivations, this one dropped a huge bombshell on us in the final episode. Then again, so did Hagure Yuusha and no sequel for that, so...

Pretty decent anime from start to finish.
I like the comedy of Kurt succeeding even though he was completely clueless about what was happening most of the time, he had a great heart though.

Ok, but what is the point of bread harder than the hardest metals? Normally you eat bread, but normal doesn't apply to Kurt. So instead, could Kurt hypothetically make armor and weaponry out of this bread?

Wow this anime really surprised me, it's actually pretty good and interesting!

Hildegarde's saying about 1200 years ago now explain a bit why people don't seem know about the Hast village.
Something must have happened to the village or Kurt himself. Judging about common sense jokes all around, it seems he himself doesn't realize he's 1200 years in the future not because he came from some remote village. Also in earlier episode someone was confused whether there's a village in that area when Kurt said where he came from, it seems the village no longer exist now?

I hope they make another season.

Anything he makes seems to have curse cleansing and healing property. Remember that the tired soldiers became refreshed after eating his bun?

WTF, like, 1200 years? He's been living exactly like that for over a millennium? I demand a prequel to his life in the village.

On the other hand, this anime is the first one that just finished my season list, it was very funny... seriously, wtf with that bread XD

Well , we have been clueless for many reasons.
- what's real age of Kurt?
- did Hildegard knew Kurt from previous reincarnation?
- what's inside the Hot Springs Bun which had been cured Famil's curse, kill demons and nullify the after effects?
- and this one I had been wondered for whole time WHO IS BANDANA? (sorry screaming a bit), because it seems like she knew the true strength of Kurt (and Akuri also) but so far, no Bandana's backstory to explain that poor storytelling i don't know, kinda frustrated about that.
thats it

Uh, so Kurt and his people are basically Angels or descendant of Angels? That would explain why he is powerful, innocent & pure, he basically/ almost spilled the beans when he said
Huh? A Demon Lord? I haven't seen one in forever. I thought they went extinct.
.

Well, they did use to say, if you see one Demon Lord, then there's a hundred more around, so I guess they would be pretty difficult to wipe out.
and then he reaffirms by saying.
I don't understand why, but my village was often attacked by Demon Lords. So we worked hard to come up with all kinds of countermeasures, and before we knew it, all the Demon Lords were dead.

I am sorry, but that's not how things work out, no normal humans no matter how many "countermeasures" they came up with would be able to defeat the Demon Lord race to extinction.

Also I think Kurt is the runt of the litter, the village idiot, the village most retarded one, that's why they allowed him to go and live amongst humans. This dude is 1200 years old and is dumber than a rock. He couldn't read the room, even if every wall was painted from top to bottom with hand written instruction on what to do & say.
