| The continuation of the fight against Dratena Belbury. Light had to pull out some insane tactics and a new skill to overcome that fight. Just another one of those episodes where the show needed to give Light the chance to prove himself. I mean, yeah, it wasn't just a fight all by himself but he carried most of it. This was also his toughest fight in the show so far. |

| Dratena design is so good I love her lol. Probably the best episode so far. Finally an actual challenge for Lightâs group. Also Fâs in the chat for the count of Montes. It literally makes no sense that the people would turn on someone whoâs on THEIR side just because he has a âtaboo skillâ like dude is legit helping yâall. I donât blame him for taking down the whole area with him. Lightâs new skill came in handy. Looks like the story will finally get going. As we all knew, the sister from the first couple episodes who was upset about Lena leaving the party is going to end up being the big villain. |

| Dratena's design is really something else love that purple outfit she's got on it's so striking can't believe Light had to pull out all those tricks to take on Dratena it was intense and nerve-wracking those dimly lit hallways really add atmosphere to the scenes made it feel super dramatic RENA'S SWORD BROKE during the episode omg that was unexpected what even happened there still no clue why they aren't eating those fruit skills more often seems like a no-brainer kind of strategy |

| Either written like a shounen targeted at a very young kids demographic... Or just truly fucking horrible writing. Unfortunate that the premise and the start had something going for it, but afterwards the show got dropped down a fucking 50.000 feet. mountain. To accompany it, a drop from me to send it off properly. |

| Ok, 'bug resistance', I'll admit I laughed at that one. Love this show sense of humor. The MC new skill 'pixie sleep' is a fairly clever/original idea imo, and I find it more interesting than if he had simply acquired a new, more classic, fighting skill. This episode also does a decent job of explaining why he didn't try to eat more skill fruits before now: this a big gamble, a lot of skills are useless, they can even make his useful ones useless if he's unlucky, and there are nasty side effects every time he eats one. (also let's not forget that these people were raised in a 'religion' telling them time and time again that eating two fruits will lead to their death for sure, not easy to change your way to think in a situation like this and just start gobbling up these fruits like nothing imo) So, I'll give props to the author for not making this story a boring one where the hero simply has to 'eat fruits' day in and day out to get OP, but instead something a bit more complex and interesting where the hero has to stuggle at least a little bit to reach his objectives and save his skin. Pretty good episode overall, next week looks like slice of life fun, looking forward to it :) |

| Him getting Bug Resistance made me laugh pretty good, same with Cat Charmer, I would love if those skills would somehow be relevant way later in the story but it is hoping too much, I'm glad they didn't defeat the dragon but instead just barely managed to escape. phantomfandom said: Anyway, I think this undead arc is too serious and too dark, I prefer something more lightheart, more healing... | Who knew a more durable piece of broken sword meant you could blow up the ceiling with it and jump on the falling rocks. This has been, far and away, the dumbest combats I've ever seen in an anime. |

Dragonball wasn't even as bad as this, as at least power ups are by design there and are being allowed to happen by either the heroes or the villains. This is just bad writing. | Light could have eaten numerous fruits prior to going. But hey, it's anime and something needs to be exciting. Anyway, he is now starting to get overpowered. I knew it that the sisterhood is fishy. |
| What is with this writing that has the MCs emotionally and mentally crippled right in the middle of battle?! It ruins the entire flow of the fight and makes the MCs look embarrassingly weak and silly. There is no benefit to it at all and it does not add drama to the scene. It is one thing for them to discuss the Count's life and his struggles, that provides context to the story, and serves a purpose. But to have the male MC get so distracted by what could possibly happen to him in the distant future, right in the middle of the fight, endangering himself and the young girl helping him, this makes him look so oblivious for not paying attention to their situation and immaturely self-concerned for something that hasn't even happened to him yet. And what is with everyone revealing their attacks with loud shouts, or saying something like "I got you now", or informing the enemy of you teams attack "I am not your opponent", you ruin the element of surprise and your opportunity to catch the enemy off guard. I really wish people would stop writing these types of things for they characters. |

| @Riptos Wasn't the necromancer controlling all the monsters and their movements? So if she chose to wait to discuss something with her opponent, then the monsters wouldn't attack them. It would on her for not trying to sneak an attack in, without them noticing, while they talked. I would normally agree with you, but I think this one situation is kind of different. Edit: Forgot, the evil dragon should have been attacking the entire time. |

| Nice episode. The fairy Light got was cute. The skills he kept unlocking through the way was hilarious though. |
| So little creativity in this anime, wouldn't be surprised if more and more viewers are dropping this kind of show, it's just sad in all aspects, so much that it's actually amazing in a way... wow. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| I'm noticing that every fight in this series is just moving lines and slight movement. Guess they're limited on time/budget. Also the saint being the villain is pretty funny. I'm curious if she has some sort of genuine motivation or if its just "I'm evil and I want to do evil things" I will say it is nice to have some sort of explaination as to why he didnt just immediately start eating more skill fruits. Never thought about there being negative ones or ones that counter existing ones. It was also nice to see he didnt immediately get an SSR skill and one tap the dragon. |

| This is an incredibly stupid anime. There was a semi-funny one about parrying recently. It's like this. It's just idiotic. |
| By having Ayla be attached to Light like babysitting a child, Dratena's secret is out of using the Soul Reaper with the help of Count Montes, who unfortunately summoned it and became an undead himself. And that skill was his taboo skill, so sick of life being praised then ostracized by people to escape to the place where he's at now. In a sense, the Fruitmaster himself is also in the same vicarious position, though with some wit, is able to subdue the undead with Lena's help...and Dratena summoning a Wicked Dragon definitely is danger elevated to the max. A monster so fearsome that not even the Fruitmaster can attempt to counter, and Ayla bringing in skill fruits that range from bug resistance to loving cats and sword defense, none of those certainly help bring it down. That is until the very last one: Sleep Pixie, plus the ingenuity of effectiveness dealing its sleep toxins to the dragon, and barely just escaping altogether in one piece. Black Swan being threatened by the Fruitmaster having A priori, what is truly the extent of that threat? |
