Lena is obviously hurt inside but that could've gone better. Plus behind the scenes, she's also suffering physical abuse. It's early in this series but we already have a duel involving Light with high stakes. I guess this anime wants us to see his potential and what he can do at this point in the story. Lena's lucky to even have a friend like him. |

Sacred? more like a curse or trash. And, since he is trash, it was right for him to be cleaned by a deck brush. |

This is the usual "underdog protagonist defeat someone whom people think is much stronger than him" With that said, I'm glad Lena has sympathy toward people, something that somehow Light lacked a little bit. |

Why haven’t light just eaten more skill fruits, that seems to be the most obvious thing to do as soo as he learned he can’t die from them zzzzz |

Lena: Nooo Light, don’t fight grousse! You’re not strong enough Light: Nah, I’d win 😭 Light beat buddy ass with a fucking broom, perfect conclusion to Grousse’s annoying ass character arc. What a fucking loser. All he was concerned about was the fame and not actually helping people. Lena being in a party that she hates and initially refusing to leave to join the MC reminded me of the situation from Saikyou tank. These seasonal shows start blending together after you watch so many of em lol Animation was ass in the fight but it’s satisfying seeing Grousse get his ass handed to em. Good on Lena for not being upset about the frankly, shitty jobs that she and her new party are limited. Just shows she’s a genuinely kind person and wants to help rather than just making money and getting famous. Will be interesting to see how they keep things engaging in this show going forward now that my biggest wish list item, Lena in the MC party, has been ticked off. |

Wowie, Grouse was truly horrible, glad to see he got thrown into a wall with such efficiency. Story seems to be progressing as expected, Lena finally got to join up with Light and Ayla, and it seems the next episode will give us a look at our villain(?) too. I still feel like the show is progressing maybe a bit quick, it doesn't feel rushed but rather that the hurdles get resolved right after they pop up. I'm still enjoying myself for now though, the intro is especially fun! I still haven't really understood why Light hasn't eating more of those fruits, but i'm guessing that will happen soon |
⠀ ⠀ 【Nawic】 Enjoy the shows you love, relish the feelings you have, but never forget to keep an open mind. Challenge yourself and you'll truly find your own thoughts and feelings. |

I thought it was a vast improvement from last week and a pretty great episode all around. There was some good drama (Lena going through some stuff) that makes you root for the MC to save her and some good action with some good music. I also really loved all the little comedy bits (beating up the villain with a broom, the pizza jokes). Overall, I really enjoyed watching this second episode, I hope all future episodes are as good and engaging as this one was :) |

Loved Light smashing Grouse's face flying all the way breaking the terrain, satisfaction 100%. Loved that Light was able to get back Lena, as per their childhood promise. And excited for what the holy sister is planning for Luxeria! |

That Holy Sister ain't holy. I'll go as far as to call her unholy. She ticks a lot of villain points because everything she seems to be doing is to keep being top dog. She only want that catastrophic something to be stopped because it might take her top place. That's a master manipulator. Edit: Oh and that job she's sending Luxeria on is clearly to get rid of Lenas friends so she'll break and become an obedient tool again. |

Ok so I watch 2 eps back to back and I gotta say, the story screams generic and the characters are kinda stupid... but somehow this show is really charming in my eyes. The production quality is surprisingly pretty decent, definitely better than the average slops. The OP & ED is visually quite good and kinda catchy. The overall vibes are very bright and fun, but with a hint of darkness which is kinda interesting. I quite like the little comedic moments, like when Light defeats that bastard with a broomstick lol. The setup for next eps is actually pretty interesting too. Honestly, this show might stay on my watchlist for longer than I anticipated! |

By the second episode it was clear. This anime is really stupid. The bottom. There are no changes. Some clarifications. Why is this anime so stupid? For starters. Mc-kun still hasn't figured out that he can pick up hundreds of extra skills. No one questioned where he got his second skill from, and how a gardener can beat up one of the best swordsmen. People here are like. That's cool. The leader of an elite squad got his face bashed in with a deck brush by a rookie. It happens every day. One thing about Lena. Her squad kills a dangerous monster in a fairly safe, low-risk way. Setting it on fire from a distance and then finishing it off is a standard tactic. Lena, a wren of a woman, is not happy about the burnt crops. Apparently you have to risk yourself for a turnip. I wonder how she imagines a fight with a monster. She'll probably spare the vegetable garden during a fight. Blondie said it right. Nobody died. That's great. Well done. If the monster hadn't been killed, the farmers would have been eaten. A vegetable garden is a bargain. Yet Lena doesn't ask for help for the farmers. Which would make sense. Besides, she could've just bought back the burnt crops. She makes hundreds of thousands in gold. That's enough money to buy a turnip. But the girl is moralizing from a cottage with servants eating a brownie. She's being kept. Lena doesn't want to say something like: 'It's going to be hard for the farmers after the field burns down, let's give them a coin. It's nothing to us and they won't starve. And we'll get good word of mouth'. She's just hysterical that it's not right. Of course, they made the blond guy the stupid villain. Even though he's right, the argument is, "You went against me!" There's no way to explain it to the dumbass. The author tries to show this party as mean, not caring about people, arrogant. But fails to show it in the right way. The characters are unbelievably wooden. Loli only thinks about pizza. According to the author she should be cute and funny. Mc-kun himself is no good either. Again cardboard. Again an op and from nothing. The world in this anime is not elaborated. The author is lazy. Didn't bother with the description. There are a lot of questions. For example. If the second person bites off the skill fruit, will he get the same skill or nothing? And if the fruit is cut? How then? And if from a dozen fruits to make juice? What then? Also, according to the lore, this fruit is a universal poison. One small vine will kill anyone. Didn't care about the value of the items either. Two fighters with sword skills chopped wooden planks and stuff out of nothing. They cut the air, the planks are lying around. This author just took the Woodcutter and Carpenter skills and devalued them. Why do they need them when the master of the sword can make beautiful wooden planks in an instant? This anime will continue to be stupid and cheesy. For those who have nothing else to watch. |

glad they got that whole Lena ignoring Light thing resolved, and Light dragged that proud Sacred leader, Grouse, a few pegs. Of course life wouldn't be easy now that Lena's not a member of an S-rank party, but she's way happier this way. The head nun's pulling all the strings, but Lena, Light & Ayla are managing their own strings just fine & just rolling with the punches. And Ayla's such a foodie cutie who needs sweets to fuel her skill lol But i wonder what will happen to the fruit she thought of bringing along with them on their first mission as Luxeria. |

@ApplePieHunter Yeah, pretty much. You get these authors every now and then, where they leave out or postpone the most obvious/logical writing development, for later use during the show. No doubt he'll be in a spot of bother and will eat another one eventually. Crappy, convenient writing, but whatever.... I didn't expect much from from the get go, when Light was explaining to Lena about eating the fruit at the ceremony in episode one, that you could only eat one or else you would get poisoned and die. Fucking 30 seconds later he gets his skill he doesn't want then cries out "let me try again!", just after explaining what happens when you eat two fruits. That pretty much set the tone right away. |

I just watched the 2nd episode and I think it was alright, I don't think it had anything I would call bad, but didn't have anything I would call good either. It followed the average isekai protagonist with a childhood friend route, now they will be going on adventures together, let's see what the future holds for them. It also seem to be holding a mystery of some sort that we could understand from the holy sister. I'm looking forward for the next episode. |

The fact that a terrible person like Grouse, a character to be hated, is an important member of an organization acclaimed by the public is an interesting factor. Good thing Light educated him with a broom. I like how the anime deals with religious issues, with people with dubious attitudes, like Santa Maria, for example. The animation in the duel between Light and Grouse was bad and the story seems very straightforward, but I'm still excited for Luxeria's next adventures. |

Sacred is comically stupid evil in a way that feels horribly contrived. They're beyond shallow and well into just lazy writing. But the worst part is that we've now gotten through the second episode and Light has still not eaten another fruit, despite it being the incredibly obvious way for him to keep powering up. This would not be the first anime to forget its own basic premise, but not making it past episode one is pretty bad. |

@FullyCharged Well, yeah, I saw that. My concern is that Light didn't think of this but a child who barely understands how these fruits work did. Like you said, I'm sure he will eat more fruits in the future and get more abilities. However, the MC has had a lot of "I'm a bit slow in the head" moments in just two episodes. That combined with the fact that we have no lore or meta reason for why he shouldn't just eat a shit ton of fruits and gain hundreds of abilities has especially grinded my gears. I don't know. I'm usually not this harsh with subpar anime, but this one has particularly bothered me for the previously mentioned reasons. I think it's because the concept itself is flawed from the start as it relies on the MC being extremely stupid to not be unbalanced or too easy for them to handle problems. Unless we get an actual limit or disincentive to eating more fruits (which the anime's title, anime's description, and Fruitmaster skill description suggest otherwise), there is little hope for this show. |

First person I found that is making some sense. I feel like this place is full of bots or something with the amount of people saying they enjoy this dumpster fire. Ain’t no way this is enjoyable and is an insult to one piece. It’s so obvious that this anime is a parody to it. 1) Fruit that grants you a random power which you cannot predict 2) Eating a second one will be lethal 3) Mc is a dumbaşş who cares about adventure a lot AND wore a straw hat 4) Damsel in distress who wanted to join MC, but can’t cause her old crew won’t let them, so MC has to beat them up All that is just from the first 2 episodes too. Literally, only good thing I can say is that it has good animation and isn’t close to a hentai. |

Okay I have to drop this. WHY hasn’t he gained a SINGLE additional skill? There zero logical reason not to, it’s just bad writing. The preview makes me think he STILL won’t get a new skill even though he should know he can. He should have gained thousands by now. He’s an irredeemable idiot. He should have at least grabbed a few extra skills before dueling that party leader. |

He ate second fruit accidentally. Everyone living in that world including MC would have strong fear to eat such deadly thing twice. That might make sense if it weren’t for the girl who scanned his skill and told him exactly what it did. So he knows he’s impervious to all poisonous fruits. Even IF fear of being mistaken was the reason and not wanting to risk it, he hasn’t even considered it at all. He just immediately moved on like an idiot. |

With the S-rank party Scared's arrival, Light was hoping Lena would recognize him, but it's clear that she never acknowledged him...or rather, did not want to acknowledge him in front of the public for fear of reprisal. In fact, she was rather happy to see him again achieving his dreams, and judging from the looks of warrior Grouse and the Holy Sister just wanting the monster annihilated more than caring about the lives of the innocent, it puts her on the line not wanting to express the fine details. It's not until Grouse's arrogance that Light knows the full extent of the matter, wanting Grouse to dismiss Lena at the soonest. Light, not wanting to admit defeat, challenges Grouse to a duel with his 2 skills against his S-rank God Speed, though he needs to substitute his broken sword for a deck brush, and Light whipped him a lash alright to claim Lena to party together with her and Ayla to do normal adventuring quests day in and night out. Their new party of Luxeria is going alright with this endeavour, through trouble lingers ahead for the trio. Wipe the floor with hope against poor animation, Light. |

I find it interesting how this anime somehow managed to draw fire from so many power fantasy fans. Missed opportunity or just a lemming effect? Whatever it is it got it in spades ehehe. |
