Looks like freya screwed up.
Tho she is now on the attack and the next episode should be interesting.
Seeing as the people are now angry i guess they will be looking forward to a new wargame.
Also don't underestimate a girl in love you never know what they will do especially if they are jealous.
Horn went pretty far with that realising Ryou and causing all those problems.
Still the stabbing scene was intense.

Finally, about time Hestia steps it up. She's been suppressing herself in this arc but now unleashed!

Also about time Bell figured out what Freya is really doing and her lies. His reunion with Hestia is priceless LOL, with emotion but also the usual Hestia light comedy favor added to it.

Also been a while since I’ve heard the words “Wargame”. Interested to see how that all will play out.

Never let the enemy know your next move. Give them a dagger so you can make them stab you.

Asfi asking the right questions.

Lustfulness is evil. Chastity is good.

The good old medieval rebellion.

If every episode was dynamic like this. This season would be short.

I am so glad these las two episodes have picked up, it was getting kind of annoyingly stale for a while there.

Now it will rock again as an awesome anime.

Edit: Rewatched Bell's argument with Freya about Syr, he even defined a goddess to resurrect his friend that he cared about.

This should have been even better than it was. They nailed the conversation between Horn/Freya/Syr and Bell, but then really dropped the ball at the end with the confrontations between Freya Familia and Loki Familia/Ryuu and others. People are furious at Freya, and Ais shows a lot more passion in the novel than they show here. They insist on making her so incredibly doll like, than even when she shows how she feels, they utterly fail to convey it.

@Farabeuf I think they could still show what you are saying in the next episode. This episode tried to rap up quickly to get to the "I want a War Game with you Hestia" line.

This should've happened already, like going through the loops over how Freya wants Bell has to be the most annoying thing I've watched in a very long while.

Sometimes you can just make fun over how dumb and stupid something feels, but no, making an arc over the most searched roleplay on Brazzers ain't worth any joke. I can watch Hestia stupidly screaming for no good reason over any of the Freya related stuff in future. So yeah, hope this ends soon.

Yay let’s go we’re back! Honestly surprised JC staff haven’t had to delay more shows with the insane workload they’ve got this season, but we move. The time off definitely was put to good use because this episode was awesome.

Gig is finally up with Freya, man s/o to Horn’s seiyuu for the incredible job she did selling her anger and pain in that reveal to Bell. Idc what they try to say, Syr was as real as Freya, Horn and any of the other characters in this series and good on Bell for not allowing them to brush over her. Did NOT see that Shakespearan twist with Horn trying to die by Bell’s Blade tho, wow! Hopefully she’ll be alright

Speaking of Freya, I loved seeing Bell just cook her dumbass in their big scene. Probably the first time she’s ever been talked down to like that and she absolutely deserved it. She’s been beyond selfish and used everyone as a pawn in her game to win over Bell. No “love” created that way can ever last.

Hestia FINALLY got her moment to shine wow, so cool seeing the entire city turn into her temple and her ability activating. I knew Ouranos wouldn’t just sit by and let Freya do whatever she wants! Good on him for the firewood strategy. A ticking time bomb in plain site. The way hestia emphasised “MY” Bell-kun was so cute there at the end too. Definitely deserved the “I love you”’s from Bell! Freya just don’t know when she’s beat tho, a war game?? Figured she wouldn’t give up so easily but man I’m tired of her insane ass already lmao.

Amazing episode

The extra week's wait was worth it! This episode was very enjoyable with how everything is shifting.

I'm glad that Horn released Ryu, which meant that Ryu herself can finally get back to what she does best without getting shafted for once. As for Hestia, she and Asfi got the plan into full motion and it was a nice visual treat. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the first time that we've seen the top of the tower, Babel, so that the two of them can overlook the whole of Orario as Hestia used her powers to snap everyone out of Freya's charm.

With that sorted, I do look forward to seeing how the war games that Freya suggested will play out. Only a defeat for herself and her familia will leave me feeling satisfied!

Hmm, i really am not dure whether how this will play out will be satisfying to me. I don't exactly have fond memories of the last war game with apollo familia and I know for a fact that they're going to absolutely throw power scaling out of the window again. Let me predict: Hedin (Level 6) is going to have an equal Fight with Aisha and maybe fox girl and someone else. Maybe cat guy from Freya familia (Level 6) will have an equal Fight with welf, that'd make Sense right? I'm getting pretty mad just imagining the bullshit that is coming. Ryuu is perhaps going to Join Hestia familia but that still won't prevent shitty Power-scaling. Also, Hestia is as annoying as ever, like come on, give it 5 more minutes and Bell would've convinced Freya he can save her. Additionally, why can't Bell just be a little bit more vocal with His intentions. Hestia and the Rest of Orario obviously don't intend to save Freya so how will you save her by staying silent?

@Gabrilindo14 I don't read the written material, so please no spoilers, but I will share my perspective on how the next episodes might go.

It won't be the same as the last War Game in the second season.

This War Game is against a completely different familia, the Freya Familia, with a completely different cast of characters facing off against the Hestia Familia, so the strategies and battles are going to be totally different.

The Hestia Familia just leveled up recently, Bell is also due for a level up. I think they will also train even harder for this War Game, especially Bell with Ais, who is not happy at all. And after this whole "charm" event, the entire familia has a huge gigantic chip on their shoulder because of what Freya did to Bell, their familia, their goddess Hestia, and everyone else in the city, so they are really burning up with a fire inside (notice the silly pun 😅), which will definitely play a role in their determination to win.

Plus everyone in the city is going to be rooting for the Hestia Familia to win this time, or they should be, since everyone was affected by Freya's Charm, and they should also lend a helping hand to the Hestia Familia before the War Game, to stick it to the goddess Freya and her entire Familia.

This is why I am excited to see what they are going to show in this War Game arch.

————

What you actually mean is that the outcome is going to be "the good guys win" again, but I say "So What!".

I am not going ruin all the fun I can enjoy with his anime by focusing on surface level similarities and complaining that I already know that the good guys are going to win in the end.

This is fiction, not reality and history where the good guys lose sometimes and even die, these stories are purposely made to be like this, because that's what people want to read and watch, ever since the Greek Myths about Hercules overcoming the "impossible trials" and other cultures' stories about their heroes, "the good guys win in the end".

I mean even the original Star Wars Trilogy, which had the Empire Strikes Back, after A New Hope, has the Return of the Jedi, which has the good guys winning in the end, because that's what people want to see happen in fictional stories.

If you want to see a more realistic and historically accurate story, there is at least 6,000 years of recorded human history that can be read at any time, so it couldn't hurt to do some research into historical figures that won and lost, and even died, in their battles.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

I understand the “good guys win” is bothering you.

But I am more interested in the climb up to the top of the mountain to win, so to speak, you know, how the writers show them wining the fight.

That I think is the fun part, the ways the writers show them defeating other characters.

@ejleon No, it's not a question of them always winning, it's a question of them having a certain challenge that impacts them and makes them have a certain development for the future in the end, something that happened in the fourth season with Bell, where he was all injured but in the end he didn't even develop.

Wow!! After a weeklong break we finally get PEAK.
Following from last episode, Bell is convinced he is part of the Hestia Familia. Ryuu broke into Volksfangr as a solo rescue mission to get Bell back. And Ryuu as a Level 4 still is holding her ground of what seems to be the lower level members of the Freya familia. Bell escapes and in a very fascinating and powerful scene with Horn, Bell realizes that Horn is Syr and so is Freya. Horn gives him back his Hestia knife while also killing herself on it. Her last words were of Freya feelings and thoughts while as Syr.

After that Bell confronts Freya, they have a heated argument. As that is going on, we learn Hestia put her blood, Ichor, on the firewood the Hermes Familia loads. The Hermes Familia sold it everywhere in town and as they burned it, Hestia went up to the huge pillar where Freya usually hangouts. Hestia unleashes her Virgin Goddess power, which is awesome since we haven’t seen that since the Finale of Season 1. Hestia releases her Vesta power and everyone is free from the charm. Now that Freya is in deep shit as the whole town is going against her for charming them, she goes for her last ace. A Wargame!!!!
