| don't get me wrong I've heard some Anime with good opening and ending themes, but I think there's only one Anime out there that I know enough about to say that I love it's soundtrack, Death Note, from it's opening and the songs found in the anime itself, such as the self titled song "Death Note", "L's Theme", "Taikutsu", "Light's Theme" and my favorite out of all of them being "Kodoku", Death Note has been cemented in my mind as one of my favorite anime's and anime soundtracks, with that being said are there any Anime Soundtracks you find to be better than all the rest? |

| My top five are those of Inuyasha, Koi Kaze, Higurashi, Shiki, and Mahoutsukai no Yome. Followed closely by those of Ergo Proxy, Haibane Renmei, and Elfen Lied. Other honorable mentions/runners-up would be the ones of Kaiba, Kenpuu Denki Berserk, Usagi Drop, Noragami, Mars Red, Serial Experiments Lain, Saraiya Goyou, the Fruits Basket 2019 reboot, Hanasaku Iroha, Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu, and Sora no Woto. |

| Haibane Renmei is my personal favorite. It sounds like a Zelda soundtrack mixed with a Ghibli movie, which is perfect for the atmosphere of the show. I'm also partial to any show that has a particularly jazzy soundtrack (ie Cowboy Bebop, Baccano, Great Pretender). |

| So many, World Masterpiece Theatre shows like Romeo & Black Brothers have amazing classical OST, Utena has impactful OST, Twelve Kingdoms has great OST, and even One Piece has a superb range of tracks. Gintama also has masterful OST. |

| Made in Abyss really hits me sometimes. Nice songs. The OG Berserk has some great ones. Utena, but I'm biased. But in all, I'd still give it to Samurai Champloo. |

Naming some animes with good OST, no particular order: Fairy Tail, Naruto, Bleach, Zankyou no Terror, Clannad, Devilman Crybaby, Angel Beats, Gatchaman Crowds, ID:Invaded, Made in Abyss, Megalo Box, Noragami, Samurai Champloo, Sonny Boy, Tokyo Ghoul. My favorite OST is Tears of Life from the first Pokémon Movie. Lugia's song (Pokemon movie 2) and Oracion (Pokemon movie 10) are also up there. |
