DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Damn, when Noelle wants to make a point, she really make her words do the talking. The episode is alright although didn't give me the big type of penultimate episode feel. Asta looked juiced up this epiosde though with that body of his though. If he really wants to take control of his demon powers, this was a chance. Really curious how this will lead into the series' finale. |

| Well, everyone luckily escaped unscathed into Elysia with the help of the elves, where members of the Eye of the Midnight Sun are waiting for them, and with it, Secre's revelation. The fight's ganging up for both Heart and Clover Kingdoms together against the demon crusade of the Spade Kingdom. It isn't surprising to see all members in dissonance that Nacht never existed in the first place...given the shadowing stigma of the Black Bulls, he's like Zora in almost every way. The Devil-Binding Ritual training from Nacht to Asta, that's a huge improvement in contrast to just "borrowing" the Devil's powers of episodes past...only if Asta manages to overcome the Devil and make its powers his. But who's what woman that has the Devil's history connected to? Despite not feeling like the penultimate episode to the season finale, it'd be interesting to see what the final episode has in store, since it's basically unknown as of yet. |

| More or less of a recap episode with some progression scenes. Asta is learning a devil ritual that if he's able to kill his demon, he will basically have the demon powers on command. And the devil has a flashback to a woman at the end. I haven't read the manga.. but it's kind of obvious who it's implying.. Asta's Mother? We'll have to wait and see. Next week is the last episode. Started watching when this began 4 years ago. It's been a great journey and episode 170 will definitely be bittersweet. |

| The part with Tetia and Licht's children was quite emotional. I teared up a bit when Secre cried. Lol Liebe voiced by Nobuhiko's the best. The woman in the flashback looks like Asta for some reason, wonder why. |

| I'm just glad that Liebe appear before the end. Current ep is chapter 267 and latest chap is 286. It will be quite some time before we get S2. Also, I'm glad they don't add fillers just coz they caught up to the manga. |

| Was Nero getting emotional about Tetia surviving anime original? I don’t remember reading that part, but it’s been a couple months I could’ve forgot. This episode really made me realise how important it is that the anime go seasonal rn. This chapter came out like 2 months ago, after the flashback next week, we’re basically in the same spot as the manga Next week titled Haruka Mirai, damn Ima have goosebumps. |

| Squeee! Very interesting eps. Given the reveal by the demon that makes it look like he knew a human at some point, and with the elves being back and last week seeing demons hovering above the Captains I feel like we were just introduced into a much greater multiverse of interconnecting dimensions which overlap and bleed into each other. With of course the necessary good peeps and bad peeps for content!! Asta cute chibi looking demon at the end was so cute I almost lost my shit! Squeeee. P.s, did Noelle get a oppai job or has she always just been wearing tight fitting outfits crushing those melons down. |

| Noelle's boobs during their meeting with the elves were big. Puberty did wonders to her lol. On a least humorous note, was sweet seeing that Lemiel's dream didn't completely die out. Secre crying got me T_T Poor Black Bulls got a trash talk from Nacht, but I don't think that will hinder them for much. They're the Black Bulls after all. Of course, Asta's devil had to be voiced by Okamoto. Not that I am complaining, the casting was perfect. At the very least we will end the anime on a good point, even if it will not resolve the arc. Cannot believe Black Clover will end next week, and the last episode even has the title of the first opening of the anime. It's an understandable decission, but still, feelsbadman. My Tuesdays for sure will not be the same :'( |

| I was quite relieved to see everyone has revived in the Heart Kingdom. And we get a somewhat human face to Asta's Demon. And of course Asta would try a different route then straight up trying to kill his opponant. Nacht giving the Black Bulls a verbal beat down. He doesn't understand that their flaws are what make them more determined. Also I noticed he didn't mention Grey when talking about the others. I will miss my regular dose of Black Clover :( The news could be a number of things. A delay until a seasonal Black Clover, a movie or maybe in OVA form or an original story? |
