wow this episode was quite shocking, that helper t-cell was really pissing me off. glad that the steroids came in and stopped them finally. also, kinda funny how this weeks episode of black and the original's episode both had the hair cells in them.

Killer T Cells and Helper T Cells go on a terrible rampage. I wonder how many hair cells died due to the misconception? Steroids were deployed in time, looks like the T Cells were left alive too. Next episode isn't looking good, this body is gonna pee some blood.

I like how it's a depressing ending to the episode and then the super upbeat ED rolls. Great episode ^

AA2153 is slowly getting the ruse of his work, at least now with fulfillment. And as if today's episode of Season 2 just covered a part of the hair on acne, this one covers about hair loss. Quite the link.

NGL, I ship AA2153 and U-1196 together, after the battle of Gonococci last episode. The Killer T Cells at a level higher than the main series...crude as they are, caused by overwork and stress, causing spot baldness.

Welp, didn't think that we'd see steroids working in the body as a form of stress-releasing induction. The body is strained to the point of overwork, and that's a given in Code Black.

A depressing episode indeed to treat the unstable, dirty body.

It can't be a coincidence that both the shows had the same episode about hair matrix cells today. But poor Killer T cells got overworked and started destroying their own friends. Man, this body is in really bad shape. Also, that foreshadowing of the urine becoming red can't be a good sign.

A brilliant connection of hair story from the original Hataraku Saibou episode aired earlier.

Also, I love how they illustrate inflammation by inflammable!

Platelets should genderswap too, I'd love to see little boys in big groups.

And Killer T-cell should rip-off their shirt when they receive cytokine, those muscles need to be seen!

Hmm this version of the helper T cell sure is quite the individual. Killer T's for this body certainly look larger as well. Extreme changes in body also changes the cells i guess. Must be quite confusing dividing yourself endlessly to do your job. Even elite forces can get exhausted though. But seeing them run amok was certainly the worst acne scenario. On top of Helper T going absolutely bonkers as well. But even in the face of this disorder RB's cells determination sure was impressive. The appearance of the steroids though is always so amusing since they take the form of killer robots. In the end the Killer T's were as much victims of T cells madness as the other cells were. Overall an action packed ep that also did well to show what paranoia can do to a cell.

Woah, a hair cells related episode from this spin off too, after watching the one on the main series right before this.

Enraged Rampaging Killer T-Cells are scary but cool to witness at the same time, just look at this. Overwork can drive you insane even over there in cells world.

An urinate-related eps next? I hope it's not so gross to look at, hahaha, whatever it will be. If it's really kidney-stone, ouch, I can feel the pain when I think about it..

I wonder if this is why they did the 2 ep special? So that both of today's eps would be about the hair root in some way/form.

Our bodies are really programmed to be weird if we don't take care of it, seeing Helper T Cell run amok despite Dendritic cell already informing about the Hair Cells is truly scary

Oh, I see. I didn't know those were the symptoms of having kidney stones. I already knew that it hurts a lot in those cases. But the red urine looks scary.

I suffered from kidney stones when I was younger and I had the same symptoms, I think it's because the stones are directly hurting the body walls

Yeah fortunately, thanks, and it's renal colic so the owner of the body in the anime would be dead with all what he got before + that xD

They made baldness look like a tragic, scary and apocalyptic process. Poor Killer T Cells, at the end they were victims too despite the destruction they caused.

So much Cells at Work Code Black in 1 week, damn.

That casual conversation between WBC and RBC was the highlight, maybe cause I couldn't keep my eyes off WBC... Ahem.

That Killer T Cell is even more annoying that the OG Killer T Cell, but atleast the OG version became pretty likeable in the end.

Next episodes looks to be painful, kidney stones...

hair loss, would I have ever imagined that it was due to an autoimmune response, what other autoimmune responses would there be in the body apart from cancer and this?

For the purposes of the series, steroids mention "eliminate", is it true that they kill them or only inhibit them?

Chapters like this make me reflect, and worry more about my body, I don't want to have hair loss!

Great episode as always, tbh i'm starting to like this spin-off more than the original.
What tf is the owner of this body doing that he manages to fuck it up so badly tho, he needs to take better care of himself.
Looks like next episode is going to be about kidney stones, it seems like an interesting topic so i'm looking forward to it.

This episode really contrast to what happened to the original Hataraku Saibou. This is a fucked up situations straight at the whole hair root areas. One Neutrophil could managed to neutralize that area, when at these body, the armies of Killer T Cell went on rampage by themself. Ironic. Its obviously black. What happened exactly? Autoimmune disorder, exactly. Its cause by overworked, chronic stress, and unhealthy cycle, near the definition led to Delirium state. The commander of killer T cell, Helper T cell went crazy and ordered his armies into the darkness, killing his own comrades. Spot baldness, almost. The situations got worst, Dendritic cell couldn't prevent that crazy commander to be more crazy. Fortunately, the drugs arrived in a good timing. Steroids. Such a heavy drugs. The body really reached a critical point. But, they managed to keep it alive, suppressing the T cells into a very low level.

Phew. Its over?

Nah. Another problem arise, once again, at the lower part of the body. Kidney disease!

I wouldn't be surprised either based on the episodes I watched (I think I missed 2). It makes me wonder how long did the body get from being healthy to bad shape? We got a little backstory from 2 Red Blood Cells how easy going they were, but not the new generation is taking the full force of their actions. If the guy doesn't die at the end, then it might be like how Season 1 ended for Cells At Work! where they found a donor in time and their world was saved.

If there's anything that can brighten up anyone's day within this bleak host body, it's the pure smile that WBC gave to RBC when she spoke about her dreams. Protect that smile at any cost, everyone...

Sadly, that was the only happy part of the episode, as the Killer T Cells went on a rampage and attacked the poor defenceless hair matrix cells, which started to cause spot balding for the host body, or every guy's worst nightmare when they get older. =(

The steroids came in the nick of time to subdue the rampaging T cells, but the next despair is always around the next corner. Next time, we'll be dealing with kidney stones and blood in the host body's urine. Damn...

Oof kidney stones are quite the pain speaking from personal experience.

I doubt the anime will get there this season but the manga totally has to end with the body dying right? Might start reading it after the anime ends cause that sounds really painful.

We saw white cel smile! Isn't she cute? So that's why I'm losing my hair? Interesting... This guy is really going downhill. He gets a hangover, and solves it with more alcohol. He gets craps after some p...sy, there's the penicillin. Now he got some steroids, he's killing himself, and the sad part (for me) there's some cells that still keep up working hard and look what they get.

And yeah, let keep singing... Hakobe, hakobe!

Felt really bad for the hair matrix cells, also the Killer T Cells, they were blinded by their duties. Kidney stones look painful as fuck damn.

I can hardly believe this, but this show has quickly become my favorite of the season.

The way this episode contrasted with the third one from the other body only made the struggle all the more poignant. One can only hope the cells' efforts don't go to waste and the body can finally start its recovery.

But seriously, the killer t cells that were so pointless in the original show were shown in such a sympathetic light here, I was at the edge of my seat the whole episode, hoping they too would be saved. That's not something I was expecting to write when first picking this show!

The owner of the body's immune system is not working properly that's why the cells failed to recognize and distinguish normal and foreign cells and end up attacking its own cells.
