| Absolutely not, the middle section of the show was weak and lacked direction, and at least two major characters really didn't have any purpose in the story. It was still solid because the direction and OST were top notch but its not even close to the best show this season. |

| For me it actually was my facourite of this summer, but i guess being top of this season wasnt so hard since i dropped every anime i watched this season besides this and barakamon. And beating slice of life isnt that hard. ZnT was quite ok for me (unlike all the other anime it was endurable).. i gave it a 5/10 |

| Barakamon has been the clear winner for the shows I'm watching/have watched this season (Barakamon, Zankyou no Terror, Aldnoah Zero , SAO II, Akame ga Kill, Tokyo ESP). I'll probably watch around the same amount of shows for next season, around 5-10.. I think AgK and SAO II are my only ones that continue on into Fall 14' season I thought Zankyou no Terror was okay, but not great though. I was often pretty bored with it honestly, at least until the last few episodes (riddle of the day). I don't feel like I particularly connected with or cared about any of the characters in the show, which is a big factor for me in my overall opinion on a given anime. Music was good, animation was good. |

| It was the best I've watched this season and perhaps the best anime of the year so far. Unfortunately, that's not saying much. Anime this year have been extremely mediocre. This, Ao Haru Ride, and Sidonia no Kishi are the only anime I've seen this year I'd even consider rating above an 8. I thought this series had a great first three or four episodes, got a little stagnant with Five coming into the picture, and then got GREAT again in it's final episode. It's like Watanabe took a few episodes off to go on vacation, realized what chaos broke out in the office while he was away, and was able to right the ship by the end. I don't know if I'd consider this Watanabe's best, but it's definitely a remarkable anime. |

I thought about it but it didn't really seem like an anime that appealed to me (aka. I suck at Ping Pong and I consider it an infuriating sport/game). I really have a hate/hate relationship with ping pong, so I really didn't want to watch an anime about it. I've heard it's really good though, so, meh... |

| Yes. Contrary what other people are saying I don't see better anime this season. It's not the best anime ever but in comparison with f.e. Tokyo Ghoul, Gekkan Shoujo, Barakamon, Aldnoah.Zero, it definitely deserves its post. |

I was mocking more the last episode doing its damndest to make me emotional. And the things you mentioned also contribute to that "feel" of the show, which it admittedly does well. Now if it had the storyboard script to back it up. |
