Seems this season is going all in with the action without a breather. This episode, we got LLENN and her group making their move to win this next round. Feels like LLENN is making a lot more risker moves this season. She's got a lot of heart though.

They also threw in some silly moments for her character so this season. However, bodies were dropping on the floor so they're not messing around this season.

If there's one thing I have to say though, MY FUCK THESE DUDES NEED TO FIND A NEW GAME TO PLAY, BECAUSE GGO IS NOT FOR THEM. First, these GARBAGE cans can't even hit Llenn, with the excuse being "she's small"... JUST AIM MORE DOWN YOU FUCKING IDIOTS.

I thought they were idiots enough with that play, but it just got worse when Pino literally peaked her head for like ten seconds, AND NO ONE SHOT HER???? DO Y'ALL KNOW HOW TO PLAY THIS FUCKING GAME????

Now we saw how Llen became bait back at the beginning of episode. Good for her that everyone of these NPCs has stormtrooper aim.

The attempt to give the stronger teams a handicap by turning this into Fortnite didn't help them much. Our team still mercilessly destroyed them. That was some pro camping, lol.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

I don't consider myself in expert when it comes to FPS game but there were quite a lot of very questionable moments even if you're somewhat familiar with those games. I guess when it was being released 6.5 years ago I wasn't that familiar with a battle royale genre so I could let it fly at the time.

I mean ... even a bronze player would understand to take the high ground deeper into the area (up on top of the buildings) and wait for the water to flush them out of hiding and force them into the open where they can get picked off : |. It's like all of these "players" have never played a BR before. You've gotta be a special kind of bad to just charge into a fortified position kekw, especially when you can wait for them to be forced to leave.

By the way, the umi (ocean) concept reminds me of a game I used to play back in 2005. The water in that game were always a strategic element—if a you fell into the water, it was game over, which added a lot of tension and excitement to the matches <3

That said, iirc from the first season, aiming in this gaming is utterly garbage for most people since there is some kind of system that makes the accuracy target for you (which produces those red lines). Good players don't rely on that system, but most people do because the bloom in GGO is insultingly high.

So is just like this game is so fucking casual tier that people can't just aim and shoot or they will always miss, not like your usual current competitive FPS where you only need to know if you are using a hitscan weapon or not.

I like the gimmick of this map, sinking it and forcing the teams to go to a mysterious place in the centre.
Another great strategy by M & Pito, they must have taken out at least 30-40 people.
Really looking forward to the next episode.

I have ADD, ADHD & AUTISM, but this won't stop me. Let's keep having fun together.

This third squad jam is underway! I loved seeing how our team countered all those other teams ganging up on them. So petty to all try and take out one of the strongest teams like that. Almost a dozen teams trying to stop just them is hilarious. How they gloriously failed at it too! Llenn running around the train yard seeing where all the enemy teams are. It was so fun seeing her zoom around dodging bullets making all those other teams try to get her only for them to miss every time. Giving her teammates time to establish a fortified position for counterattack. M finding that freight car they could hold up inside and let all the enemy teams surround them. Which wouldn't sound smart but its good to draw them all into one spot so they can be taken out easier. Pitohui opening those spots where they could fire out of to pick off the enemies was smart. Taking out multiple teams with ease! Making them run scared and try to shoot grenades inside the freight car but even that won't work. Pitohui shooting the grenade out of the sky is definitely something that could only work in a game but hell yeah was it awesome. Fuka shooting her own grenades back taking out most of the remaining enemies. If not for that pesky rising water they could've stayed there and won easily. Its a smart move by the operators of squad jam to force players into the arena so they have to confront each other. We'll see if our team runs into any of the big players soon.

There’s a bit of plot armour there! Even tho Llen is small and fast, they show her running in straight lines for ages without weaving. No way all those shots could miss. But I’m ok letting that slide for a bit of added adrenaline…

Pretty nice OP to start with. The map this time sure has quite the variety terrain wise. The sinking would force the teams to stay mobile. The best way to deal with ambushes is springing it after all. Still that was quite the display even for LLenn. The counter ambush though was well done. Fuka was the perfect counter to the enemies bombardment plan.

I do feel for LLENN as she had to buy her team time for their strategy to work, so for her to become the target focus of countless teams and only escaping with minimal damage is rather impressive. What's equally impressive is how much she was screaming and complaining through it all! XD

Seeing the map shrink this way does feel nostalgic of the battle royale games when they became the rage years ago, which I do have some good memories of them myself, so it's cool to see how the teams adapt to the changing battlefield.

Overall, LLENN and her team had a successful plan to deal with the hoard of teams ganging up on them (Also taking out a Sylvester Stallone lookalike in the process!). This was a pretty fun episode as a whole. As least in this episode, the OP was played, so I could hear it better compare to the first episode and I do like it a lot. The visuals had plenty of action and even a bit of fanservice, so it gets the double thumbs up from me! =3

This episode sums up my issue with overpowered characters: zero stakes. I never once worried about their predicament, knowing they’d pull some 'uno reverse card' and win. A bit of struggle—or even a loss—would’ve made it more engaging. If the characters don’t care, why should the audience? They haven’t logged in for months—shouldn’t they be a little rusty?

@IzanaSolos there is a bit of in-universe explanation for the ocean: SJs 1 & 2 had mobility INCENTIVES in place, vehicles would spawn when less players alive were all spread around the map...

SJ3's rules had to change to FORCED mobility (sea rising) in response to SJ2's finale, where the winning team camped on top of the maps border (a massive wall) for pretty much the entire game

As for the aiming... yeah, not much i can say there

I’m really enjoying seeing some of the creative strategies in this Squad Jam. It all feels super cool, plus everything is animated really well. I’m still not sure of why I should care about who wins this thing though. It seems like it’s just for fun, and doesn’t have any real purpose, but maybe I just need to rewatch the first season again to refresh my memory. (8/10)

Gee, how appropriate that, as part of the horde going after our heroes, the studio included Barney from the Expendables... only to be expended a few moments later... hehehe.

Loved this episode and loving this season so far, and LLENN must have maxed out the agility stat between SJ2 and SJ3, because I cannot recall her doing the amount of acrobatics that she did in this episode.

Ok episode. Its nice watching them fight, but to be honest the enemy seem like they've have never played before. Idk why they didn't throw a grenade from the start since they did have some, they also had a grenade launcher. Also during that one scene where LLEN was against the shotgun dude I think it should of been fine to shoot him instead of just running.
