| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, that was really rushed. The animation was nice, but I felt they were just speeding through the first part, and it missed a lot of the impact I remember from the story. Hambart is as much of a dick as I remember, at least. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| Good first episode, the story is really interesting and the OST is pretty good too. Not sure how I feel about this Hampnie Hambart guy though. I'll definitely be sticking with this series. Now I just need the subs. The ED is not bad either. |

| Can't say my mind was blown, but the set-up seems interesting so I'd like to see where this leads. But I sure hope the fact that the white-haired guy's name is vaguely similar to the name of the protagonist of Lolita is just a coincidence, 'cause I need another one of _those_ shows like I need a hole in the head. |
| This show deserves a lot as fantasy, the locations are great, I really liked that sunny atmosphere. And I like that they treat the little girl like a little girl instead of some cute sex toy. For now. MadQuality/10, Though the drama before the comedy was not a clever move. |

| Okay, I think this episode covered about 1/3 of the first volume of LN. First, about the pacing of the anime. Just by looking at the anime, it does feel rushed because events are happening too fast. I think that the main reason that the anime is pushing the plot so hard is so that the setting can be explained. Some setting were explain towards the end of the first volume. One episode of anime can only do so much in comparison. First few episode will probably suffer a little bit as the audience does not necessary know what is going on. Things will start to make sense when the mystery is revealed. As far as details that are skipped, they are mainly character developments. One, Ai is actually not as naive. In the novel, she talks about how she wonders if she is actually a gravekeeper. She also has a feeling that all the villagers are lying to her, but she chooses to believe their lies. And also, the anime never mention how many years ago that god abandoned the world. This is quite important for the mystery of Ai's existance. I read volume 1 more than a year ago... So do note quote me word for word.... >_> And want to see the TV version soon for the OP and ED (hopefully they have it for episode 1) |

| Well, first anime of this season I started watching, and I don't know what think of it, it seems very good but I didn't really understand the main focus of the story... But the white hair guy seems very interesting, I guess I'll continue watching and trying to discover more things. |

I think you have the wrong impression of Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi. It is not a novel that is dark and with thriller. I have not read the manga adoption, but from the links that you provide, they do not look like the impression I have from the novel. 1) Scar's (the real gravekeeper at the end of the episode) illustration looks like this in the novel. 2) If you were expecting gore, I have to say, this is not the right anime. The story is definitely not cruel and dark. |

| "I'm a gravekeeper!" says the loli happily.. I suppose it did feel a bit rushed..I mean, the reason why god abandoned the world felt kind of weak. And I have no complains when it comes to the graphics, they're pretty awesome, tho they're not the deciding factor whether this anime is good or not IMO. But it's only the first episode, maybe I'll change my mind as the series goes on. |

| Well, I'm an episode down and so far... I won't complain. Yeah, it feels rushed...but it also feels like the only interesting anime I've watched since Shinsekai Yori (and excluding Shingeki no Kyojin). Actually, my impression of this is a little bit like Shinsekai Yori meets Madoka Magica. While I haven't read the LN, I do get the feeling this did skip over quite a bit of content. Still, I will say it has built up a nice mystery. I wish they would've revealed a little more about this "End of World" situation, but hopefully the second episode can cover some tracks with that. I'll give this episode a bit of a pass for being rushed. It seems like it's tackling a pretty heavy plot and it seems like a lot of the great anime I've watched make a great first impression. Hell, let's think back to some of the great series the past few years, like Shinsekai Yori, or Steins;Gate, or Fate/Zero, or Madoka Magica. Truth be told, neither of them had a great first episode, but they had enough to keep you interested and that's the impression I get from Kamisama Nichiyoubi. It's rushed, but I get the impression it could be pretty damn good. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

| Yeah, it is heavy on the mystery, but so far it doesn't feel stuffed with too much...yet. So I'm still pretty alright with it. I do like the colors and all as well. |

| Well this was an ok episode, don't really know how well it will develop but I'm expecting it will be alright... nothing mind blowing though. The animation was good but I don't really find the main character all that appealing and lacks a certain something... not really a fan of Hubert he just seems like the douchebag that tells nothing. Current Rating 7/10 Rating is subject to change as the anime progresses |

| Interesting first episode.. but confusing and rushed.. 3.5/5 We still have no explanation as to why the MC killed all the villagers and why they lied to the loli.. Hopefully it is explained next week because its a pretty big chunk of information missing. The animation was good, the OST was not memorable. |

| An interesting mix of comedy and the "darkness" of death. I've never read the manga, but according to everyone, they say this was rushed? I didn't find it rushed at all. I think it was interesting and that cliffhanger left me really intruiged That guy is hot :3 What that her mom at the end? Whoa |
| Decent first episode. I want to know why he killed all the villagers as I can't recall any explanation as of yet, although im guessing he didn't kill them all in cold blood. Wonder whats up with the gravekeeper lady who showed up at the end. Ai seemed pretty surprised to see her. |
| Looks promising but I have my reservations... they're following the manga instead of staying true to the ln and I had to look up a lot of stuff just to make sense of what was happening in the manga. Looks like they're explaining things a bit better in the anime though. I just hope it doesn't end up a mess like RDG last season. Other than that and Ai's bug-eyed antennae look, I loved the atmosphere and colors in this. Hampnie is cool. Can't wait to get the hd version on Saturday ^-^ |
