----------------------------------------
Back to present time, and according to ghost girl, he just lost conscious for a bit, and she forgot about dark Yuuko. When she touched him, the memory flows and she knows about last ep. now. Now she cannot see him.

Even though she cannot see him, he still can see her. Whenever he touches her, she feels painful about the past into him. The short girl wants them to try their best to overcome the hardship.

They can communicate through the notebook.

Drops... That reminds him of the sick girl. The head of the academy, the grandma is the sister of the ghost girl. She can also see her. The clue about the sick girl from her... The bell at the tree...

With the shock of breaking what she treasures/lingers, and to care about him, she can see him and the dark Yuuko, who is full of hatred. She shed red tears. Even though he doesn't understand her hatred and pain, he feels pain about what she can only do. They got intertwined with him crying and accepting them.

Every dream, pain or sad, is inside her, and the sick girl is grandmother of the guy??

Bad omen about dropping of the bell on her wrist...

One more episode!~ ):
It looks like it is going to be a happy end (at least I hope)

Just wondering...
How did Teiichi smashing the room and get Yuuko's attention made Yuuko be able to see him?
And I thought Asa-chan would get kill so the news doesn't leak out...

So, the anime came up with a connection to explain Teiichi's ability to see Yuuko. (I wonder how the manga will do that? Oh well, the next chapter comes out next week, so maybe we'll see some hint there.)

All-in-all, a great resolution to the situation in the anime.

Oh man, I can't believe this is almost over. One more ep left...It better have a happy ending. This episode was the best yet, so many revelations. Cannot believe that Yuuko's sacrifice ended up indirectly causing Teiichi's birth. Holy fuck. I am not gonna be able to handle it when this ends next week.

Been really happy about finding this anime when it came out. But it really seems like they are going all out on the last few episodes. If the final episode ends well it will get a perfect 10 from me.

I got a bad feeling from the post credit ED scene. Yuuko dropping her bell and not being able to grab it right away. Like Kirie has said before, ghosts usually have unresolved conflicts. If Yuuko feels a sense of peace knowing that Asa lived on and her descendent was Teiichi, she may "see the light" and disappear.

Yeah I have the same bad feeling, I'm hoping for a completely good ending but I won't be surprised if it's the bittersweet ending. Here's to hoping. Almost starting to remind me of Ano Hana.

Exactly what I wanted to say. :(

This anime is so sad that it hurts to the point I regret watching it, yet I cannot somehow stop myself eagerly waiting for the next episode to air. With just an episode to go, I hope it rounds up nicely. I gave Ano Hana a 10, I might give this one at least a 9 if the ending is satisfying. I am ready to accept an ending where Yuuko finds peace. :'(

Count me in on this too. Even when you can see (or think you can) what's about to happen, it's pretty intense. I can easily see bitter sweet for next episode, and a whole lot of tense. Except for the constant, "Teiichi-kun…" and "Yuuko-san…" that this show has, I like it a lot. They must say each other's names at least twenty times an episode. But I do prefer this over Ano Hana. The characters are more interesting, less frustrating and it feels like we get to spend more time with them since there are really only four of them.

what was binding her to this world is now over.....what is left...is for her to move on like all dead people do. in case you didn't notice, she couldn't pick up that bell. her time is up....as it were.

I agree with DuroDeMatar, she'll probably disappear, because nao she accepts all the bad feelings which kept her locked in this world in the condition of a ghost, but, thanks to Teiichi, she'll eventually be in peace, and he will marry Okonogi :D

I didnt like the first half of the episode though. He was so useless and so depressed, i dont like this type of men. Unfortunately, its the most common one it the anime industry.
And Yuuko... I liked her through the series, she seemed to be so sweet and naive, but when she decided to abandon him this image was ruined and she totally started to piss me off.
Good thing the second half was good. Yet too emotional. Especially Kirie. The way she's moving her hands like a windmill... just too much.

i'm so happy for yuuko finally being able to accept herself, both her good and bad memories.
i really didn't want yuuko and teiichi to end up having to forget each other as a way to avoid the pain; of course, their love for each other kept them strong the whole way through :)

but damn, now that yuuko's finally able to find peace with herself, is she going to have to rest in peace as well???

i REALLY want the best ending for yuuko and teiichi, especially after all the things they had to go through :/

i would really rage if they go for a bittersweet ending...

For what I'm assuming is an anime original ending, this is so good! I absolutely loved the reverse ghost twist, and it came together and concluded quite nicely. I was watching the post credits wondering what they could possibly have left to cover in the last episode, and my heart sank when the bell fell through her hands. Give me one last amazing episode, and this may very well be the first 10 to make my list in a long long while.

This is the best show of the season. Totally had me hooked from the first episode, mostly because of the fanservice. It was when she shoved him down the stairs that I knew this was going to be great. The scenes where they sort of "zoom out" the frame leaving black space all around the picture is cool too. Very minimal, less is more kind of direction. It was certainly effective when she was looming over the stairs, at the end of that one episode, and then the ending theme came in... damn.

I know I love a show when I even love the music to it. The opening song is... eh... I dunno, but the ending is sick.

Geez, that was the briefest of brief happy interludes before further drama.

Yuuko "moving on" is almost certainly the plot of the next episode, but I kind of wish it wouldn't be. Can't the guy just have his damn ghost girlfriend?

Doesn't she resemble her grandmother tho, the grandmother obviously wasn't alone forever, besides Okonogi has that admiration vibe to her, Kirie sounds more reasonable imo.

The other two girls in his harem technically conceded the race a while ago... It'd be tough now for a relationship with either of them to not have a "consolation prize" vibe to it.

she's not going to forgive him for giving up yuuko anyway, dont you think so? even if she will, she resembles yuuko too much, that'd be too painful. i mean EVEN if he chooses her, they'll eventually break up. that makes okonogi the only reasonable option.

I don't see her not forgiving him for something out of his control like her passing on, as for the resemblance, there could be something there, as they do look alike so it would be painful, but i'm just saying its a better choice than Okonogi.Because all "what if" scenarios aside concerning their future relationship Kirie is the better fit imo.

In the case of Momoe, I'd say yes. I think she's happy enough knowing that he'll be friends with her and hasn't totally rejected her, even if he doesn't love her.

However, Kirie showed that she still has lingering feelings for him and might still be hoping that he'd eventually come to love her as he did with Yuuko. After all, she still has a bond with him, because of their families being tied to each other and I think that would make for the best ending, even if it is a little bittersweet.

Oh wow, a much better episode than the last one. The only problem I had with it was Kirie-san. She was like a bad actor, overacting in every scene which was especially irritating, since she was in a very important position. Everything she said gets a whole different meaning knowing she herself is in love with Teiichi-kun, it was a wonderful depiction of such a situation.

The resolution of Shadow Yuuko's fate was somewhat obvious from the beginning, but they did a much better job at it than Persona 4. Quality > quantity. We had time to know the character and get emotionally attached to her before the inner struggle began.

I wonder how they will close this, there are quite a lot of ways. It was a good show and I wouldn't mind seeing another season, so a cliffhanger or a no-ending is possible for paving the way for a continuation. However, it might not be as good as this season was (I gather from the posts that the canon material has already been adapted), so a closure would probably be better. What would constitute as a happy ending though? Yuuko finally moves on and reincarnates and Teiichi-kun waits for her? I don't want a sad ending. 5/5 superb episode overall.

She undoubtedly still has feelings for him, but it seems as though she's twice given him the "you'd better not give up on Yuuko, since she's the one you really love" pep talk.

Although I wouldn't say a relationship with Kirie is altogether implausible, Kirie would have to go on always knowing Teiichi was only with her because he couldn't have Yuuko.

I predict (as well as many others) sad ending (bittersweet one, to be more precise). Pity, for this show is one of those where I'd like to see happy ending.

This show went from childish but fun to very interesting and even dark, to a certain point. Looking forward to see how it ends.
