----------------------------------------
The Noukin team is on guard against the Souwa High team with a 8-point difference...that is once team captain Masato enters the play, and the sparring between Masato and Souwa's ace raider Takaya ensues to close the gap.

The strategist Iura knows it all too well, and is trying to limit the Noukin raiding to just Yoigoshi to spare Masato the blood, sweat and tears. Don't ever undermine his "jack of all trades, master of none" ability to wreck out of difficult situations, the Burning sensation of Kabaddi has sent the ace raider out to increase the Noukin team's chances of victory.

It's only up to Rokugen to set the pace further in the last 52 seconds, and a chance to steal the Struggles from Date and Misumi, and even with strategic teamwork from the entire Noukin team to stop Rokugen in his tracks, the struggle of victory has shined on Souwa High with Noukin losing 31-32, a meagre point behind with the loss of time. Pretty interesting that Rokugen is the one whom like Yoigoshi is a complete amateur when he first started, and his spars with the agile Masato and thinker Iura pretty much shaped each's experience.

Hope this ensues a new journey for the Noukin Kabaddi team even with a loss, and already looking forward to the future like Yoigoshi.

The match is still on and Ojo is still a scary beast in the field of Kabaddi. Ren might be the ace of the team but he's too inexperienced to know that he's going against a player whose whole life is devoted to this sport. It's not the battle between two aces but the battle between 'The Experienced One' and 'The Enthusiast One'.

Yoigoshi was entrusted by the captain to take out Takaya from the game and he nailed it. Even having a chain in front of him, he used the 'Frog Jump' to get over it and the struggle between Ren and Yoigoshi was so tense as Ren pushed him out of the court but it was Yoigoshi's day there. Great job, Rookie.

A great episode from the way both the teams were depicted there at the end and you can clearly see Yoigoshi's face full of determination and the anger lingering through his body. He's getting hungry for the taste of that sweet victory. Noukin will remember this loss against Souwa (31-32) as they'll enter the tournament.

This is the best episode yet, despite some part that annoy me (like how they suddenly yelling about big dream without any prelude). But the excitement eclipses all of that. And on top of that, we also have fanservice, for the first time we get to see Yoigoshi shirtless! And captain of rival team, Rokugen, despite not being shirtless, but his muscle is so out of the world that the tank top can't contain his pheromone. I count at least four characters I can drink any fluid from them, any! And in the next episode there might be even more with the introducing of new members. Though I spot one LGBT guy that might fall in love with Yoigoshi, I hope Yoigoshi will be cool about being loved by the same sex.

Yeah, very nice episode. I just wish we had more animated cuts.

I thought they'd get destroyed but they only lost by 1 point, that's pretty good and they likely would've won had they not run out of time.

Yoigoshi's raid was really cool but the team holding back Rokugen was definitely the best part of the episode, good stuff.

Damn that was a really close match but they played really good with 2 new players. The OST was just incredible when Yoigoishi went to raid.

Moment of the episode for me as well. Got to get that soundtrack!

Iura v the Brick was a really cool moment too.

Animation felt lacking still but episodes with tempo like this is always a treat!

The match was really close, with Yoigoshi's explosive potential, next time will definitely end differently.

Best episode so far. Animations still feel stiff sometimes. But overall it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time when Ojo was going for Ren.
And also Yoigoshi's raid was amazing. He was burning from the inside with that dead determination to take out Ren. It was Fire vs Water lol

I'm really enjoying this series. I'm also enjoying the soundtracks. They do be hyping moments up

Further development of Yoigoshi-Takaya rivalry, and the introduction of a Iura "Oujou's friend"-Rokugen rivalry.

A solid episode overall ^^

I know I've missed my discussions from the few previous episodes, but now I can commit to make a positive comment every single week here!

Another week, another Kabaddi Saturday, that's for sure. Animation movements are still in frame forms & PowerPoint Slide methods, BUT!!

The voice acting has been consistent, if not, more developed after each episode passes by. I've got to give a double thumbs up to Yuuma Uchida giving his all in voicing Yoigoshi, especially during his final raid in this practice match. BGM during that scene amplifies the emotional impact, I tell you! 👍🏼👍🏼

Remember when I've said his copy abilities will come sooner or later? Well it happened as naturally as it can be. Along with his football feint skills, he implemented the techniques belonging to Misumi and Takaya on first try.

We do get to see Iura being a determined player. His studies every single possible strategy observed in Kabaddi history goes to show his unlimited desire to make up for brute strength he's lacking.

While I did expect Noukin to lose first time on-screen, I didn't expect it'll be a one point gap, thinking it'll be five points. And yes, a loss is a loss no matter how small that point gap is. Still, it's good to see Noukin Kabaddi Team get back on their feet and start training themselves more.

Preview shows new (willing) recruit members who we saw them watching Noukin's practice match. Guess it's a Breather Episode, but I'm sure it's to show us how they'll improve with the new members on their team.

This was such an intense episode! Ojo and Takaya competing, Yoigoshi's raid, and Iura's strategic tackle! All of them were awesome! Still Noukin lost by 1 point. It was a really close match. Yoigoshi's determination to get to the tournament and play better is commendable. Really looking forward to the next episode!

I'm enjoying this show seriously. Especially this episode is fire, dope, awesome. It's a shame animation is very poor. If animation was improved, this show gets more higher rating and many audience. Yoigoshi, Oujou, Iura are my favorite characters. I didn't think I get into this underrated sports gem when I watched first episode. It's right I decided to continue. Lastly, ED song is one of my favorites! That's why I'm a big fan of Yuuma Uchida.

Great episode! Definitely the best episode of the show so far. Ojo and Takaya's back and forth was great, Yoigoshi's raid though was something else plus the soundtrack in that scene made it so good. Very satisfying to see Takaya get defeated, we also got some really solid art this episode, even though the animation is definitely lacking the artstyle is really good at least.

Being referred to as nothing more than "Ojo's friend" must suck, I am glad Iura got his moment and he was finally able to grab the attention of Rokugen. Shame they lost by one point since Rokugen was just that stronk. But the teams interactions after the match was pretty good. Looking forward to the next episode, more members are joining.

It feels like I am watching a slide show .
It know they have small budget but still they can make it a bit more smooth. It's a sports anime afterall if the animation is not smooth then its no fun.

That was so nice of Yoigoshi when he tried to make Azemichi feel better by telling him that he was the first person to defeat him, the “undefeatable” ♡

They finished up the match this episode and it was hype. As others have mentioned, I wish the animation during the matches was more dynamic and not shown in a Powerpoint type way, but it was still fun to watch. Noukin did well considering the fact that they aren't considered a strong team. They only lost by a single point, so as they continue to improve they should hopefully be able to beat Souwa next time.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

This was a very intense episode . The match was getting really interesting but in the end they lost by 1 point.

We saw what Ojo and Yoigoshi are capable of doing and I am seeing Yoigoshi now getting along well with the team, and how he has developed as a team players

The animation has really improved from some of the previous episodes and now they look more smooth (but I wish they improve the animations during raiding , it feels like they are showing still frames). The occasional funny moments add to the enjoyment.

Can't wait for next week.

that was great oh my god. the captain obtaining 1/3 of the teams points, and yoigoshi obtaining 1/4 of it. this episode focused on our 3 strongest guys, op captain, smart tactical vice capt, and greatly improving newby yoigoshi. the other 3 was .. pretty useless so i hope to see more focus on them in later eps. the 1 point lost was frustrating too. enjoyed this episode the most so far, dont know what changed but it was nice

Even if they lost, they were still able to do their own personal best. As for Azemichi, like Yoigoshi said he needs to keep playing and practicing to grow experience since he never played any sports before.

I felt so satisfied when Yoigoshi got Takaya out.

When Yoigoshi went to comfort Azemichi, that moment was so heartwarming.

Looks like they'll have new members next episode, it'll be fun to watch.

The match was fantastic (tho I'd complain again that they could have used a bit more motion in the animation during the match). It was pretty much a game for raiders. Defenders didn't do shit. Hope the defenders level up their game, so we get to see some good tackles as well.....

Too bad they lost by one point but still an impressive result for Yoigoshi since its his first match, with a lot of growth possible for the rest of the team possible before the tournament begins.
