Yet another awesome episode =D
Shame about Kimblee though, such an great character died in a very inglorious way, killed by a filthy animal >.<
At least Pride took good care of his remains thorough ;)

It's starting to become almost too much though with all the switching between different fighting scenes that supposedly is taking place at the same time.

Awesome episode with a lot of sweet fighting. Al kicked some major ass against Pride and Kimblee. I liked how the opening song "Rain" was used as an insert song.

I'm really impressed how well they managed to switch between the fight scenes. It was like "NO don't switch show me what happened!" to "wait this is going to be pretty badass too"

Kimblee's wheezing really brought home the fact that he's pretty much K.O., that Pride's really doing him a favor, i like that. :)

Anyway this episode is so full of awesomeness, my only complain is that the Sloth fight was a little slow at some point, and Sloth himself didn't seem very speedy, but i guess it's an animation problem. Split-panel dashing works better for Sloth in the manga.

best fight so far, I don't usually enjoy fights in anime since they suck, eg. naruto etc. Fights are always interesting in FMA though ^^ also, I like the opening, I prefer it to period, but shunkan sentimental was the best.

It would have been a really good action episode if the quality during the fight didn't drop so bad at some scene(well not as bad as the second season of Tetsuwan Birdy Decode).

Al and Ed as the main characters they are barely pass the test. While Pride as the bad guy is the best one in this series. I think what really make this show good is their strong support casts.

Oh thumped up for Yoki, and WTF Kimblee died this EASY!? =w= I thought it would take more episodes before his death arrived.

I never like Alex before, but this was impresssing when he protected his sister and the song was almost in its perfect timing ( I don't consider it 'perfect', just almost, I think something's missing. Don't mind me. )

Roy saved the day!!
/me sigh
And it would be better with the upbeat ED like the last one, so when the door exploded, Roy stepping in would look damn badass!

Aahhh, yet another episode when someone appears as Deus Ex Machina to save someone from the jaws of death. It's become somewhat of a trend lately to bring up such a lame excuse to bring the good guys out, alive and safe from a battle against overpowering enemies. Yoki this time? Damn, that was ridiculous.

The only thing that was achieved there, was making Pride look weak. But he's weak if you think about it. Ever since he was introduced as Pride in the anime, what has he achieved? Kill some nameless soldiers in the tunnels amounts to nothing. Got outsmarted by Al twice. Losing his fight even though he ate up his own comrade to get a power-up. Got ridiculed by Hohenheim and his identity exposed to everyone by Hawkeye, nonetheless. And now, today, made a fool out of himself because of Yoki.

Talk about a disappointing development out of a much anticipated vilain... But what do I expect out of Fullmetal Alchemist?

@kodial
Yoki element is somethin called character development . Ha ha . I think we all know what pride has achieved ,(i don't think you remember , al was owned by pride in episode 46 and he took him for a ride again by sending morse code messages to father. . . . Pride screwed ed and greed , before hoho showed up . . . And hoho is not your regular homunculus. . . He is in fact as strong as FATHER . . . So him owning pride wasn't a surprise) but i/we have no idea what you have achieved by constantly degrading /bitchin/complainin about an awesome show . . I know everyone is entitled to his/her opinion . . But this is just RIDICULOUS . . . Same talk every week , is plain hatred . . . I'd really love to know the kind of shows you really like kodial . . . Cause i've noticed that fmab isn't the only page where you complain .

My thoughts about this episode . .
This episode took me by surprise to be honest , it started of so quickly , it took me some time to get used to . The artwork looked weird at places , but i think it was done on purpose to give the action more fluidity . . The animation was top notch . . . As usual . . . . Al had his opportunity to shine , and that helicopter shot of pride was breathtaking . . . I'm gonna miss kimblee . . Big time :( . . . And yoki . . Ha ha ha . So funny . . . Al's reaction to yoki's presence was priceless . . Ha ha . .

The armstrong siblings are an awesome team , and although they didn't look in good shape . They did manage to peg sloth back , a little . .

The doll scene is just , character development , nothin else , and sets up the next episode nicely . .

So do the scenes involving may and envy . . . Pretty good :)

the transition from one fight to another was nice , and the way the op was used , was a masterstroke . . . Nice again :) :)

all in all , an awesomely awesome episode , wit the right amount of drama , fun and huge amount of action . . Fma brotherhood is easily the best show for quite some time :)
and last but not the least , the preview looked awesome . . The animation was screaming epic . . Can't wait :) :)

A HUGE action-packed episode. Now that FMA:B is on tracks, it seems unstoppable. However, there's so much action and so many different scenes that they simply can't animate everything, that's why there's a lot more camera work than usual.

That was awesome. He earned some points in my book for that one there. Very awesome.

The Armstrong fight against Sloth was good too, go Alex!

Yoki did something useful.

Overall, a very cool episode with lots of nice fight scenes. The transition between them didn't seem off either.

This was a great episode. Wonderful animation that made me have a glimmer of hope (again) for the possiblities of Al if he were used in any offensive capacity. I'm always in awe of the way he uses alchemy. He's a mix of Ed and Hoenheim--being really strong to put on pressure, but also very tactical--and exactly what I like to see from good guys in this show. Too bad I don't feel like I get enough of it.

I will say that even though this episode only wrapped up a lot of this round of movement, it re-invigorated my interest with what's been happening. Mustang is with Ed, Al is with Marcoh heading to Central, and Olivier is hanging by a thread with Alex. Speaking of which, I really felt like she was going to die in this episode. It's gotten to the point where I just don't think she can really back up a lot of her words on this particular battlefield. She needs to be commanding her troops against the Zomuncli, otherwise, I just don't see how she lives through all of this.

That's another thing that had me thinking: This side hasn't really seen any casualties since what's his face with the apple pies. I think I'm going to need some significant deaths pretty soon.

Also...whatever happened to the tattoo on Riza's back that's supposed to power up Mustang. That was such point of focus that I don't really get why it hasn't been used yet.

The tattoo wasn't supposed to "power up" Mustang. He already learned the secrets of flame alchemy from the tattoo on her back; the reason why her back is burned is because how terribly powerful flame alchemy can be (in the Ishval war) and the two of them agreed that it should never fall into the wrong hands.

This was all covered in the Isval flashback in scenes that were supposed to be in episode 30 but were never animated.

Great episode! The show's been awesome from the start and it's been on a real roll recently. As many have stated, Kimblee will be missed. He's such a great villain. I guess I always thought he would go out in a final battle royale with Scar. Is their confrontation on the train (seems so long ago now) the only notable standoff between the two? Can't wait till the next episode!

That reminds me, it seems silly sometimes that Mustang is the only one who knew Flame Alchemy. I mean, Ed saw the gate, performs soul-binding transmutation, and still don't know how to decompose Hydrogen and and create a spark.

Though he did the reverse back in the Glutton/Pride fight by extinguising all the fires. o.o

Anyone else confused?

This episode is awesome! It cleared some questions I had about Kimblee and about the latest chapter. Though, the part when Kimblee told Al about the 4th possibility is, I think, done much better in the manga. Still, fight scenes are done much better here than in the manga.

They're cutting pretty close to the manga now. Next ep is Mustang's highlight,
