That was literally one of the worst anime episodes I've ever seen in my life. They couldn't even make up their minds for which canonicity to even adapt ffs.

not only is the animation dogshit, but for a show called ONE PUNCH MAN where the FUCK is Saitama? Anyone? 10 episodes already, WHERE IS HE?
| @StateofOhayo I'm not sure if people like you haven't noticed, but having a character that can beat everyone else with one punch is incredibly boring and it breaks the story, specially if the series is trying to have a serious plot. If Saitama was here, there would be no plot. |
| they did some 4kids censorship bullshit with the lollipop, but that's the least of my problems when everything else is so bad. the characters are boring too, murata's art shaded that point but here, it's clear. should've just got saitama to end the season in 1 episode. |

| They couldn’t keep the ball rolling unfortunately, two good episodes in a row (imo) but it stopped with this one, we’re back to what episode 7 was like pretty much, only slightly better I’d say, and that’s not saying much lol. I’m also seeing that they changed Zombieman’s cigarette into a lollipop, no idea why they’d change that, but honestly I don’t care about that at all, it is the least of the problems this episode had if you ask me. Well I could probably go on longer about the production quality but it would be beating a dead horse at this point, so let’s talk about the content itself lol. Zombieman going up against a vampire was a pretty fitting matchup for him, vampire dude greatly underestimated the power of a zombie tho, and he ended up getting beat, a shame this fight didn’t get the attention Child Emperor and Flashy Flash’s fights did, but it is what it is. We also saw Atomic Samurai’s underlings take on Super S and the brainwashed mercenaries, they had some trouble so it was handed off to Amai Mask, but man that dude is seriously brutal, idk if he killed the mercenaries or not but he sure didn’t care about them as he went after Super S, it’s unfortunate that the mercenaries just existed to get brainwashed and killed (if they died) but I’m glad Super S got done in (a shame it wasn’t an on-screen death tho), she’s hot but she was also annoying lol. Then the swordsmen took on that hair dude, a bit surprising he went down just from having his hair cut but I guess it’s a good thing that fight didn’t last much longer. And lastly was Atomic Samurai versus Machine God E5, I was actually reminded a bit of the Sigma Force from Dragon Ball GT because of Machine God’s ability to copy his foe’s fighting style, but Atomic Samurai shut that down real quick, Machine God did get away tho apparently. And now Atomic Samurai is facing down a goofy ahhh looking monster, but he’s probably really strong despite his appearance, unless he isn’t and the cliffhanger is just bait lol, guess we’ll see. And I don’t know why they ended on the OP in this one, felt like it was in a weird place, it’s a good OP but they shoulda just done the ED like normal. |

| @Ionliosite2 it's still named after him, and in s1 we got a whole bunch of saitama without it just being ohko. that whole crew has been snubbed this season for people NO ONE LIKES, and honestly at this point IDK if the writing is worse than the animation or not, but I can't find it within me to give a shit about any of the characters, so the whole aside with the league is just dragging on and on. |

| Despite all its technical shortcomings, I unironically had fun to some degree while watching this episode, haha. Not the best thing I've ever watched, not even close, but still better than the first episodes of this season (I know, I know - the bar ain't set high). True, it was rushed, had awkward direction choices, animation and art problems, etc., but it was kind of cool to see many various heroes in action. And well... I won't lie, at first it was sad to see, but now it's sort of funny to notice all those shortcomings in pretty much every scene, lol. Though to be fair, while I expected the quality drop after two fairly good-looking eps in a row, I didn't expect that kind of drop. I mean, all audiovisual-related stuff aside, those rushed offscreen fights were lame no matter how you look at them. And what's with that lolipop that Zombieman had instead of a cig? xD At this point it's good to just enjoy the ride and try to laugh at those mistakes or shortcomings, in my opinion. The show will not improve, but at least we can just pretend it's a parody of both superhero tropes and animation, and treat all those poorly done elements as a part of the joke, lmao. Disco lights, lights on and off, fighting behind the pillar, "30 minutes later" offscreen fights... There are plenty to choose from, lol. |

| I honestly don’t know what just happened. So much stuff went down in a single episode, yet nothing really happened. It was just images, colorful flashes, and screaming everywhere. I thought I had a pretty high tolerance. Even when a lot of people were trashing the Garou fights in earlier episodes (the ones with those GIFs all over social media) I could still accept them. But this? This is really bad. The worst so far. I don’t even know what Amai Mask did to that lady monster. And the fight between Atomic Samurai’s disciples and that hair monster. Basically everything. The only part that was kinda okay was Zombieman vs the vampire. And even that was still bad. Just slightly more watchable. Maybe because they are side characters, the team just wants to rush through this part and move on to the important characters. Yeah, maybe. But seriously, watching this episode was exhausting and hard to get through. |

I hate it when I play ping pong with my friends, it goes into my eyes no matter how much I wipe, my eyes get rekt, and I end up losing the games. I relate as heck. Zombieman aside, Atomic Samurai calling the copycat robot he was fighting a cheap knockoff, which he is, reminded me of Soldier Boy when he told his son the same dang thing. GOD I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE FINAL SEASON OF THE BOYS, I MISSED YOU SOLDIER BOY! |
