Of course Crunchyroll uploaded a bugged version of the Spy x Family episode where it glitches out around the 5 minute mark π€¦π½βοΈ ended up watching on Hulu.
As for the episode itself, obviously everyone’s gonna be talking about the hilarious Yor and Twiyor stuff today, but before we get into that, I feel bad for Austin sensei. Loid actually gave him horrible advice. He should’ve told him to leave his abusive scumbag of a wife. There’s no need to reconcile things because he hasn’t done anything wrong.
Anyway, help, drunk Yor is so cute. Hayamin did such a great job today. Her coworkers are still lame jealous bitches, but at least Yor is fitting in lol. Completely lost it when she imagined a scenario in which she kills Loid all because of an omelette, those girls are awful influences lmaoo. Yor really has grown so much thanks to Loid and Anya, I’m so happy for her
Yor literally overloading because she thinks Loid is going to give her a welcome home kiss after her coworkers teased her so much lmaoo. The way he catches her as she falls.. Finally Twiyor crumbs π₯°
And that ending!!! Damian getting jealous when other boys talk to Anya and promising to help make her dream of building a castle on the moon come true when he gets older.. ladies, him bringing you the moon is the bare minimum lol. Great episode!

| That crunch glitch ain’t so bad if you’re a fan of Fiona lol, jokes aside that is a wild error, I wonder how that happened. Anyway, this episode was back to the usual fun of the series, I guess if you consider Austin’s segment fun at least lol, it did have a funny ending but it seemed like the dude was in a terrible relationship at first, until it was revealed it was largely his fault that his wife was treating him that way (although I still think she’s wrong for it), not the greatest impression of a real marriage for Loid but I like that he thought of it that way lol. I especially liked Yor’s part of the episode, seeing her drunk is always fun, her coworkers’ reaction to her drunken state made it even better, we even got an imaginary battle between Yor and Loid because of Yor’s crazy logic jump, of course Yor would never do that but it was a funny scene. And to cap off this drunk Yor segment, we got a great interaction between her and Loid since she thought he was gonna kiss her, that was such a priceless reaction from Yor with really good voice acting to sell the moment, but hey at least she didn’t hurt Loid this time lol. |

An accidental kiss would have been a nice teaser but the author apparently doesn’t know how romantic relationships work so a wasted opportunity. will there ever be romance in this show? |

| I wouldn't be the only one to think that Austin would have bad nightmares from the bus hijacking incident, but the actual truth is that he's afraid of his own wife and his slightly sloppy mannerisms at home was to blame for that. It was also a nice change to have more focus on Loid's cover job and his advice and help looked to have worked rather nicely. As for Yor, she's such a bad drunk that it had me laughing a lot! Her brain, being all sloshed up, was too busy going in circles and breaking down whenever her co-workers suggested her to get a bit more cosy with Loid. They were spot on with calling Yor cute when she's drunk! Maybe one day, if it ever happens, Yor will be more comfortable with Loid when it comes to getting more cosy together, but for now, that seems like an obstacle that's too strong for her to overcome. |

| I thought Austin-sensei got PTSD from the busjacking. I thought it was another mature concept for this show to tackle. Turns out he was just afraid of his wife lol. I guess that's kinda funny. But I feel like it was a missed opportunity. But it probably would've been better to show PTSD from a student's perspective anyway which wouldn't really happen because they went on from the event with no casualties. The 2nd part of the episode was really cute. I hate people like Yor's coworkers who want other people to be just as miserable as them and try to sabotage their personal relationships. Thankfully Yor is too simple-minded to fall into their traps lol. Ah. Yor vs Loid. Or Yor x Loid? I want to see both of them happening so bad. It's too bad we got neither of them in this episode. But it's probably like endgame stuff anyway so it's probably not gonna happen anytime soon unfortunately. But at this point either fight or fuck already. I don't care which anymore. Just make it happen please. The post-credits scene was hilarious. So the moon landing hasn't happened in this universe yet? It'd be so cool if there was an episode or even a movie about it in this series. |
| well i'm glad my fave 'grey-web site' got the fixed file. :) that was a HILARIOUS mixer and moon landing skit. :D :D as to the teacher and his PTSD? sure his wife has some petty reasons to treat him like crap. the childcare and housework problems ARE concerning! but the rest of them are pittance worries. standing her up on their anniversary? unless i knew his situation that day/week/month/year i can't decide one way or the other if what he did was just pure stupidity on his part or some other mitigating factor. but frankly? divorce is his best result. plain and simple? the woman had in the past or has recently lost ALL adult respect for him, and he needs to dump her and move on. trauma sucks. DOMESTIC ABUSE sucks even worse! just because she's not BEATING HIM UP every day does NOT mean she's not abusing him emotionally. after all the crap he went through with the terrorists? i'm not surprised his domestic trauma has been exacerbated beyond its previous levels. he needs to go home, gather up some of his stuff, clothes, books, personal effects... AND MOVE OUT OF THAT HOUSE IMMEDIATELY! get a divorce lawyer and file ASAP and make the LAWYERS deal with this so he and his soon to be ex-wife have as little... unsupervised contact... as humanly and legally possible. no marriage counseling or whatever is going to fix this relationship. get out of there Mr. Austin! save yourself! because as a survivor of PTSD due to my relationship with my parents AND my Army service? i know what tha eff is going on here with poor Mr. Austin. i saw things like this going on between my parents and learned a thing or two about abusive spouses who don't hit their spouse. they take it out on the kid, since the kid can't fight back. and since Mr. Austin has 'some' offspring with this woman... hence the gripe about him ignoring childcare and housework... maybe his wife needs to lose custody of the kids too? before she transfers her abuse to the kids when Mr. Austin leaves her. at least with my experiences as a Military Policeman in the US Army for more than a decade and my two degrees in college concerning law enforcement and my childhood... and a piece of my adulthood before my parents both passed... even if Mrs. Austin is a loving mother and great parent to her kids... i'm on the fence about her kids remaining in her care. if she is a good parent, just a lousy wife? ok, leave the kids with her and such. but she DEFINITELY needs a shrink to analyze what's going on in her head and probably some form of social worker to examine her life as a mother. |

| @Prox1mately we're obviously not supposed to think that deep into it, but sadly lack of society's care for male victims + setting taking place 50+ years ago + typical slapstick of wife being a ball-and-chain = "lmao you need to not be a slob, go kiss and make-up (when he literally suffers trauma responses at the thought of even trying to talk to her)" not that impressive for a modern series to have, but for a nation that we celebrate not bowing to the level of wokeness that Hollywood has, we can't pick and choose which topics for them to be actually progressive about... |

| I guess you'd consider this a Yor episode though really we're not getting much on her or her relationship with Loid and it drags things down a bit. Seems the show wants to focus on just about everything else it's it's kinda depressing. She's like the third wheel in this series, will probably get more on Bond and Damian at this stage. 7/10 |

Like, had the roles been reversed I can't even fathom everyone going "aw, she managed to resolve the issues with her busband, good on her" which has been the most common take. But, I have compartmentalized and told myself that everything here is exaggerated a great deal, it's probably not meant to be a metaphor on how to actually act in such a situation, but just a play on the "angry wife because you messed up" scenario. I think it kinda missed the mark with his voice acting and the animation truly showing what looked like actual trauma (like bodily symptoms etc.). |

| @Prox1mately Yeah, that's basically what I was trying to convey: it's poor taste, and the fact that it's a man anguishing instead of a woman is in fact the only reason this joke works for most people, which is a sad societal thing to be aware of - but it's also supposed to just be a goofy comedy and it won't do us any good to dwell on it. Imo, just focus on Yor getting shitfaced with her coworkers... or, if you're among those that find these office ladies also pretty terrible, then I guess focus on the post-credit cuteness with Anya + her class, and wait for new episode... |

| Not among this season's best episodes. Post-credits segment with Anya was definitely more enjoyable than any of the previous ones. And she ended up making quite an unexpected friend as well. That's cute. Also, I think this is the first time I see Yor acting this cringe. Man, drunk Yor segments can be a double-edged sword sometimes. |
