| Decent prologue, but goodness gracious, I hate my memory. Or maybe it’s just because this season took so long to finally air. I only recognized the people in Saitama’s room, Sonic, Garou, Fubuki, Tatsumaki, and Atomic Samurai. I’d really appreciate it if someone could help me recall the rest and what they do. |

| @Pipo____lo09 Yeah, I mean I liked the look of the characters, while Im excited to have OPM back it really has started with a whimper. Fingers crossed it's better from here. |
| Hmm, I gotta say. not what I was expecting. I remember watching season 2, and the hype around the entire series vanished due to the lack of consistent quality in animation. That, if you dont know, is because the series changed studios, why? Its been awhile, I dont wanna look it, and I dont wanna talk about why, but more so, what stuck out to me is the level of detail in this series went up! Even if their are more still shots and calmer moments resembling any CGDCT anime. either that or a power point. But the art style and some scenes in this season have a bit of depth to them, but you would have to be squinting to notice any of it. Regardless, the series is great, with or without beautiful animation, hell! the web comic looks like a 1st graders art project. So, just like season 2 *which was almost 7 years ago FUUUU* I stuck around, after battling my inner demon of not getting to consume some MADHOUSE eye candy, and watched it. J.C. staff is not some run of them mil slice of life animation studio. They got game... some times... WAIT THEY MADE Gokushufudou?? AND Gokushufudou part 2?? THERES A PART 2???? WTF HOW? sigh, anyway, I will be here for the story, *even tho i cam for the animation* but cant teach an old dog new tricks, so I will swallow my expectations and hope that they at least pull some romance level animation, sesasly tho, they animated toradora, golden time, shana, zero no tsukaima and all of these have some insane level animation at some point in there series, and even when watching the calm scenes, they have their moments; of course those show are near and dear to my teenage hood heart so I will look the other way, when the fight scenes dont look as good... that might to harsh. Oh, they also made konosuba... actually there's a lot of fantasy and romance in their list. ANYWHO, I am excited for the story, and I was very invested in it. Even tho i was complaining for paragraphs. I was presently surprised, there was a lot of care in some scenes, and some were a bit staying on screen a bit longer making it awkward but the topic made it abit bearable. I am looking forward to diving into it next week, with speculations and such, and because its a gag anime, im not going to look that far into it, maybe like garus character contracted by saitama's. soo moving forward I will make sure to empty my brain out on that topic. alright. I am done Rating time Plot: 10/10 A KID IS MISSING? SOOOO lets take three days to make a plan and on the third da- Theme: 10/10 COMMODORE/teamwork Characters: 10/10 we got to see tatsumaki... I wanna marry tatsumaki OST: 5/10 it was.. ok? sometimes they were louder than the characters dialog so it felt abit much Overall: 8/10 good first episode, last seasons ending was hectic so it nice to see the cast recovering after their turmoil Alright, I will be honest, I am only here for tatsumaki, sorry not sorry |

| I'm at disbelief at how many people are saying the animation is better than S2....did you guys watch S2 or just heard the "S2 bad memes" and are echoing them? The art was better, the animation, on this first episode, was borderline nonexistant, it was 90% still frames, good looking ones, but still frames....I prefer S2's animation so far, at least it felt like JC was trying. |
| Not bad; am genuinely content with what we got. Could be better, one punch man deserves the best, but this is imho is serviceable. Not gonna complain- besides it's the actual action that should be judged. The flashy-flash fight is one of the first fights coming up iirc: there we can actually see if they put in some work. I personally also didn't mind season 2 at all, maybe I just have a low bar of expectations. But it certainly has been raised because the monster association arc really ups the ante. Fingers crossed. |

| Almost perfect first episode getting us up to speed with the new season after we've been stuck in limbo for 6 years. They cut out a little bit but for the most part it pulls us back in. If you've got a brain on you'll understand that this is a 1/12-13 part of a season. Also the part with the least action in the season. So the simpletons will ingore all context, ignore the breathtakingly slick drawing and art in this episode. The simple will expect the director to be stupid and undisciplined enough to waste production time on panning 2.5D shots, flailing body parts meritlessly, inventing 'creative' or in other words superflous and wasteful movement to distract and entice the weaker ones amongst us. They want animators wasting time, money and talent on mere dialogue ruining immersion for the sake of having 'clippable' moments for the dumb masses. There are a wealth of interesting and enthralling fights in that await us this season. They can not waste even a drop on stuff that isn't consequential, and what we even got to day was a true treat. OPM isn't and will never be "Carried by Animation' the story, plot and humor. are exceptionally compelling, surpassing alot of the current crop of dumb consumers favourites especially that overrated one sitting on the TOP of MAL right now. Don't listen to these sheep we're more than on the right track. There's even more beautiful moments to come. |
| Let's be honest, it was very obvious for anybody that has been following how badly JC staff has been screwing up the schedule for this season that it just wasn't gonna turn out to be good or anything special. I will say though that there has definitely been an improvement with the composition and the character designs (partially at least) and maybe they are saving most of the budget and effort for later episodes that are action-intensive though that might be just me coping. 🤷♂️ |

| Almost fell asleep watching this episode. Animation was almost non-existent and the episode as a whole felt very incohesive. What a letdown. |
| My expectation were low coming in yet JC Staff somehow still managed to disappoint. Couldn't even be bothered to animate Garou picking up a piece of paper. Bad animation is one thing, but putting this low level of effort into a finished product is unacceptable. Especially for a money maker like OPM. I've seen fan animations put together with more care. Absolute waste of a studio. |

| What is wrong with One Punch animation.... Garou's walking out from that cell is so horrible... Fubuki isn't looking as hot as her manga drawn by Yusuke... But I think they actually made her sister look more attractive than Fubuki in this animation.... They also animated D-os nicely... And WHY BANG ass is visible. LOL. Huh? I don't think Child emperor hair look like that before... Why his hair suddenly change in season 3.... And from the OP scene.... Seems like he play an important part too in this 3rd season... For the OP... I guess it's fine... JAM project sung for all One Punch is great~ But One Punch S1 OP>One Punch S2 OP>One punch S3 OP The ED... It's Saitama again singing... Not a fan of that ED song... |

| Hero Association blah blah blah how about cut out the boring strategy meeting bullshit? Close to no animation, but I guess it's fair to say they're not doing anything other than literally yapping for 15 minutes, so I'll let it slide for now. The only saving grace of this episode is is Fubuki and Tatsumaki. Make them major supporting characters already.   |
