| Monica prevented the assassination this episode, which was her most important duty so far at school. The barrier might be destroyed but the prince is alive. I wish they didn't make Monica so sensitive again this episode but that's the nature of her personality. A tense episode for sure. This could've ended much more differently if Monica wasn't at school. |

| Claudia is soft when it comes to Neil. And Isabella wanting to see Monica while sick was funny she really adores her. First time we see Bridget in a while i still don't really know what her role is and it would be nice to see some more of her even if she is on the stoic side. Claudia is stoic as well but it's fun to watch her. We also got to see some of the history of the prince which was nice, seems like he struggled a lot as well when he was young. It's nice the see that the Prince turned out alright. With the events that just unfolded i think it's just a matter of time before Monica's identity gets exposed and i wonder how the others would react. It would also be sad is she has to say goodbye to some of the friends she made. |

| A really emotional episode for Monica. I really feel bad for Monica man, all she wanted to do was protect the ones she loved and just wanted to be good friends. Monica doesn't deserve to go through all of this and deserves all the love in the world. Shes just a character that needs to be loved constantly and thats okay. 5/5 |
| Great episode that followed the LN quite well. Emotional control is still an issue with Monica, but gathering friends at the academy is starting to make her stronger, which is partially how she was able to stand up to Louis a bit. Only teeny disappointment is that they took one small part of the interaction between Louis and Monica out, which I felt was crucial. When she's asking for him to cover it up, he thinks to himself that he has to be really careful, since one wrong move and he could lose Monica's cooperation in the future, and he most definitely doesn't want that. |

| “I am sorry I couldn’t take you horse riding” 😢 this episode didn’t give me a break at all, I was an emotional wreck throughout just like Monica. All things considered, this was the best possible ending for Casey who by all accounts should’ve been put to death for trying to kill a prince, but Monica standing up for her saved her life. I’m so proud of how strong and bold Monica has become when it comes to her friends. This whole experience at the academy has been so life changing for her. “You don’t need a reason to be kind to your friends” idk why but Lana cheering up Monica also got me really emotional because it’s one thing to have your best friend kicked out for trying to kill the prince, another thing when you can’t even tell anyone about it. I’m so glad Monica has other friends at school to offer her emotional support and she’s learning that friendship isn’t a business transaction, Lana gives Monica a lot because Monica gives Lana a lot, her friendship. Just being there for someone is priceless and it doesn’t have to be even all the time because sometimes one friend needs a little more than you and sometimes it’s the other way around. Very interesting to learn about how similar Prince Felix and Monica are to one another, no wonder he’s taken an interest in her. Also, the fact he looks up to her without even knowing it because he idolises the silent witch is really cute! Notice how much calmer Monica has got talking to her friends. Like she doesn’t get all flustered when Felix is riding behind her on a horse nor does she get afraid to talk to Elliott during the chess match. Normally, she could talk without stuttering and stuff when making moves and analyzing the game, but her actual convo was still poor. Now she’s able to sit up straight, face forward and talk to Eliott normally Cyril apologizing to Monica because he feels at fault for the rope incident also got me emotional because he’s so earnest and sincere and he doesn’t know it had nothing to do with him 😭 I know Monica felt so bad for not being able to tell him and seeing him bow and take full responsibility. This episode was just a lot, I hope next one is more Kayanon/claudia and happier lol. |

| Wow, we see Mary! It's a slow episode as Monica has to process her grief about Kaycey. Good thing that Landor was mentioned, but the capability of Spiralflame was not nor was Monica's reasoning for choosing to do what she did. Oh well, still a nice down time episode for Monica. |

| How to put it, this episode was very strong. It's not only Monika, we got to see the perspective of other characters too. It made me quite emotional. One of the best shows of this season, rather I should say of this year. |
| The second prince having an infatuation with the silent witch was unexpected, glad they addressed who was watching her as she took the dragons down in episode one. Really gotta feel bad for Monica wrapped up in the middle of this having to keep secrets for the sake of her mission. Like deep down its just a mission but it don't change the fact she's made a lot of good friends while at the school. Claudia folding at her fiancé's request at the end was funny though. Great episode overall, still hope we see more of the seven sages though. Since so far other than Louis and Monica we have only been name dropped on some of the others |

| @Andrzej2 Yes, it might seem absurd from our perspective, but try to see it through Monika's eyes. After living alone, being abandoned by people and bearing immense torture, she finally managed to make friends for the first time, friends she became deeply associated with, only to find that one of her friends is trying to assassinate the person she's in guard of. And it wasn't like Casey was a cruel person to begin with; it was her circumstances that made her do that. I don't know about you, but during the horse riding class, I felt lonely as Casey wasn't there to teach her, for whom she selected this class in the first place. And not to mention, Monika is a crybaby, so her heart ain't strong enough to tolerate all this. |

| I cried when I saw Monica break down like that. It's heartbreaking—even though we've only seen glimpses of her painful past, she's still carrying so much weight. That's why every frame in which Monica smiles feels so precious. It's sad that she may never see her friend again, that she can't be honest about what really happened with Cyril, and knowing her, she's probably blaming herself too much. On the other hand, the story is getting very interesting, especially with the prince. That flashback with Elliott was very revealing: the prince was as shy as Monica when he was younger, and now he's the complete opposite. The fact that his servant looks so much like him, and that even the astrologer witch can't “see” the prince, is suspicious. I'll just say this: if you pay close attention, I'm not sure if that counts as a spoiler, so I'll hide it. |

| That sequence with the prince being excatly like Monica was pretty funny. I liked this episode quite a bit, finally feels like stuff is happening over these last two episodes, although arguably not really that much actually went on in this episode. But now I wonder where the story will go, there must be some bigger plot going on still if we have four more episodes. |
| Seems like Monica is going through some transformative trauma and character development this episode. Lots of conflicting feelings all at once. What amazing writing. I wouldn’t be surprised if by next episode she’ll have made major and noticeable progress. |

| It has been quite the rollercoaster of feelings for Monica. From trying to cover for Casey who she'll probably not see for a long time to then not being abel to speak about it in front of others who blame themselves for what happened, it's only natural for someone like her to succumb to tears. I was not expecting Felix to ahve such a connection to Monica outside of what had been shown prior. It seems like he used to act like her when he was younger and now her sage version excites him. Maybe they are more intertwined than I thought. |

| I think this episode of Monica crying about Casey would have had more impact if their friendship was emphasized more. Like Casey actually being more active in helping Monica with ballroom dancing back then or her trying to ease the tension between Claudia and Lana and how she helps Monica. They rushed so much when it would have been fine if they did a time skip here and there. Monica’s VA carried a lot but the pacing and storyboard leave something to be desired. There were silences when there shouldn’t be. Louis’s big role in Monica’s life also is overlooked. Everything that man says to Monica is actually a golden teaching for her later on. Also, they unnecessarily left quite a big plot hole when there wasn’t one in the manga/LN. Literally a reason Casey “hated” Monica was both a pretense and a way for her to keep her villainess act till the end. She targeted Monica because Prince Felix, who was to have many certain scenes with Monica in the previous episodes, actually cared for Monica a lot and was seen to be partial to her. THAT was the reason why she tried to be close to Monica. The original plan was to seduce Felix besides using the Spiralflame. I guess this is another miss in adaptation because they weren’t given enough episodes to really flesh out some relationships. It feels so off that they’re showing Felix’s admiration for the Silent Witch so late too when it was already shown earlier on in the source. Could’ve made Felix overhearing the Silent Witch is there at school seem more exciting. There’s also the fact that they missed to show another worldbuilding aspect too when Monica and Felix were horseriding, but then again, there’s no certainty there’d be a 2nd season. The Spiralflame was also dismissed so easily when it’s another important bit that would be relevant in future stories. Oh well, just hope they do the next arc okay. They have only 4 episodes in the season. This might be a case of an anime-only ending TT |

| NGL, Monica's constant crying in this episode got annoying, as Louis said, she needs to learn how to control her emotions, and she also seems to be in denial regarding Casey, just let go and move on. On that note hopefully Lana doesn't turn against her as she still has her as a good (and I think first) friend, at that school at least. Anyways, I don't recall seeing the lady shown at the end before so I'm curious to find out who she is and what her role is. |
