| I strongly doubt that the checkpoint will move from the sactuary to this moment in Beako's library, otherwise it would be in fact a Checkmate. Because Basuru is not safe at all. Elsa and Demon beasts are still around and will manage to invade the library (by opening all the doors of the mansion). I guess this moment before Subaru's demise was just to give him a chance to discover anything more, that can be useful for the next loop. |

| Of course Beatrice is going to save the day juuuuuust a bit late. For a show where the protagonist lives through his life multiple times, it never ceases to surprise me! I honestly don't remember Season 1 being this good, but that was a lot time ago. |

| Beako would never kill Subaru. She doesnt even can deal with the scene of Subaru dying at her sight and avoid it at all costs, as we can see in the 1st season. I'm telling you, watch again the Ep. 7 of the 1st season, since i guess we will have an important moment about Beatrice this wed., and that episode was pretty weird concerning Beako's acts. |

| I won't say RE:Zero has the best writing or story, but I'd say RE:Zero is some of the few anime I'm DYING to know what happen next after each episode. The suspense and buildup is done so well, and the story is very unpredictable and exciting. |

| Wow, this show just keeps delivering. All those intriguing details like the questions Roswaal encouraged Subaru to present to Beatrice, and how everything was covered in Snow when he woke up, which could indicate that Emilia had died and Puck gone berserk again. And why did Subaru end up back in his prison (with the gate open)? Followed by the most gruesome death so far and Subaru cracking down (and Yūsuke Kobayashi doing a fantastic job as usual), and then a quick breath of fresh air as Subaru returns to Echidna and immediately calms down (due to her tasty tea). It will be really interesting to see if Subaru remains calm (and what price he may end up paying to this supposedly evil witch), and if the "Witch's Stench" has decreased or not as he returns. Anyway, just seeing him be able to finally tell someone his secret felt really good. Fantastic episode all around. I already considered Re Zero to be in my top 5, but at this rate it might climb even higher... Can't wait for the next episode! |

| That 1st person scene of Subaru was animated so good I felt like I was the one getting tossed around wtf. Also wasn't expecting that with Petra since she's one of the younger characters... it honestly gave me chills, poor Petra and even Subaru who was still holding onto her hand T_T |
| Operation "save the mansion" is intense. Subaru doesn't have any breathing room here. Seeing Petra's arm torn off during the debris collapse is so heartbreaking. Nooooo!!! Subaru entering Beatrice's library at the last minute surprised me. Oooh boi. |

| That final sequence was amazing. I for sure thought that Elsa would slice Subaru open. I did wonder where Beatrice was though. Ventus_S said: Yeah, exactly! | I doubt that Frederica was an impostor at first, she was still a suspect, but the events in this ep, along with how she responds to the accusation thrown by Subaru and Ram, that's enough to convince me that she's at least not the enemy. I like how Elsa mentions the size difference of Frederica, Ram and Petra from largest to smallest, thinking of that is quite amusing. Oh there's also a rally car boy with them as well. The combined effort of Frederica on her beast form and Ram is not enough to seriously such a strong opponent, much less defeat her entirely. Subaru wasted his time there talking to Petra Instead trying to search Rem, damn. As a result, the 3 maids died with Petra dying literally on his hand. And here she is, Beatrice. What a cliffhanger! Knowing Subaru, he'll be pissed beyond his mind at her, that'll be interesting... Though in the end, Subaru surely will kill himself somehow to reset the day, in no world will I believe that he'll just let Frederica, Ram and Petra staying dead. |

| Each time Elsa appears, something dramatic and bloody happens, usually accompanied with epic fight. ;P Ouch, that ending was really sad and tragic. :( |
| first half of this season was/is pretty bland. Production is a nightmare. Last scene was pretty cool though. Hope it finally picks up now. |
