| Interesting difference - in this episode, Oka mentions that four of the reincarnators are dead. In the LN she goes further, and actually mentions which ones. However, given the way and the order this adaptation is handling information reveals, it's probably better as-is, because at least one of those names would hit very differently, where in the LN we had no reason to pick them out. It's an odd situation when the 2D animation isn't as good as the 3D. It's not actually all that bad shot-composition wise, but it has odd and confusing direction, especially for action shots. Also, your weekly reminder that the main selling point of this anime is the human characters, and that that's where half the plot, most of the mystery, and all the fun misdirects come from. |
| Really great episode! The intro scene was fucking hilarious with edgelord Kumoko, Yuuki, Aoi is really killing it as Kumoko. I am really itching to read the light novel, but I doubt I'll get to it since time is limited and I have shit attention span when it comes to a whole lotta words. But I'll try since I have started to really love this series. Hugo deserved that but I didn't expect Oka-sensei to be OP, does she have like administrator powers or something like that D who is another interesting person by the way, listening to Kumoko and her complaints lmao. Really looking forward to the next episode. Wondering what volume the anime is at now though? |

| Of the different eye spells, I would have gone for Charmed Eye. Sure, with the Evil Eye, she can just obliterate things, and with 8 eyes it has basically turned into Diablo 3 where she can waltz around anywhere and kill anything she likes, but charming other beings would be far more useful, IMO. It'd allow you to walk into a human town, charm the humans, and... not immediately get killed? I mean, if I was reincarnated as a spider, I'd sure like to be able to interact with other humans without being killed, and the charm spell creates that opportunity. Prevents them from immediately smashing you, so you can talk to them, and they realize "oh crap this thing is a person!". The ruler ability seems to be the most powerful ability in the game. All that elf lady has to do is touch her target and then bam, target is hard nerfed to level 1. She just needs to use a freeze spell, or use superspeed to safely make contact with her target and that's game over. I really have to wonder why the dude thought he could kill Schlain and take over the kingdom as king. It seems that the dude forgot that this is a world in which there are tons of super powerful wizards who are waaaaaaaayyy more powerful than him. One of those super powerful wizards is Schlain's elder brother, Julius. Did this dude seriously think he had a chance? |

| I always thought it was weird how Oka was able to gather everyone considering that I doubt any of these reincarnated were telling anyone that they were reincarnated so how could they find each other, but this time I'm sure; Oka knows way too much about every single reincarnated. She has access to a source of info that allows her to know the position, the race, and maybe other things about every single reincarnated, including those that she has yet to meet in person. Or else HOW would she know that 4 died? dead bodies don't talk to say they're reincarnated. She also doesn't have appraisal herself, since this episode she was asking Shun to appraise Hugo after "nerfing" him to verify the success of it. Maybe that's a skill she herself has but I would guess that it's not, it's someone else she's in contact with that knows. I don't know who or what he/she is, so I'll just call him "being X" for the time being. And Being X has been using Oka to gather these peoples. Call it a deal; she probably works with Being X because he'll provide her with the info about where are the reincarnated peoples, and in return, she'll move to meet and secure them. And maybe ensure that they don't get too dangerous as well, which would be why she 's got the necessary skill for shutting them down if needed. Think about it. How convenient is this that 11 of them have been brought to the "elven village" (so her place) and the other 5 she contacted are all in the same class with her? Seriously? We know several of them were reincarnated in totally different countries, some as different race, yet all of the 16 she contacted are gathered either at her home place or where she currently is? surprising easy to check on all of them and supervise all 16. And if one goes out of hand, pfuiit! reset. Easy. Also, Being X started to gather reincarnated before Oka could really move around. Fei's situation is kind of telling us that. She's the only pet around, showing that human don't especially take that many monster as pet (and probably even less dragons tbh), yet, she just happen to be someone reincarnated huh ? Too much of a coincidence, especially when we've seen one human trying to go back with a specific single earth dragon egg. So, that egg was Fei, I think that much has been in the air for a while; however, the adventurer that caught himself in Kumoko's web was here specifically to retrieve it, hired by Being X. This is why that adventurer comes back with his friend to get that same egg back from Kumoko later. Aaaand... Why they come back a THIRD TIME and this time are clearly targetting Kumoko. Why target a single weak spider when you're in a middle of a dungeon full of stronger monster, and run after her like crazy, unless Kumoko WAS their target to begin with? They were sent back to retrieve that specific spider at that specific location because Being X send them for that. And, after running, Kumoko fell in the lower levels, which are too harsh for these levels of adventurers (I mean, there's adult dragon running around, and these adventurers had stats lower than Hugo) who couldn't do shit against the adult earth wyrm). So they gave up the chase. And so, this means that if Kumoko didn't manage to flee in ep 3, she may have been secured with the others rather than killed. Also, now that Kumoko is back in the middle floor , adventurers may receive the request from Being X for her again, who knows. In this case, this would mean that we'll see some soon. Will she kill them now that she's way stronger? Eat them even, maybe? We'll see but I wouldn't be surprised to see humans coming down in like 2-3 episodes tbh~ |

| Omg that blue hair girl are so weird lol... It turn me off... Idk why but this episode made me care about the others Reincarnation Characters.... Hugo still an asshole, Ishikawa Kaito voice are somehow suit for Antagonist Character as well... Elf Teacher is sus... Didn't expect her to remove Hugo status and skill... It looks like kinda Administrator Power in the MMORPG to me.... Also something bizarre happened with Kumoko... D? |

| Most of the time in this episode is human side. This time their fighting scene is still bad, but not as outrageous as the third episode. 😂 |

| Great episode which focuses to Kumoko and the classmates respectively. Kumoko part, she get the ruler of patience which is broken skill and useful for the future. She max capped the "Detection" and " Appraisal skills. She get some cool and useful skill too like telescopic sight. And she got the mysterious Wisdom skill, which put her in doubt about the world. Because she wished to have a super useful skill and granted to her. Nice foreshadowing for the future episodes. The classmates part continues to gave viewer the world building and details about the reincarnators outside the labyrinth. This episode is shows the climax of Hugo plan to kill Shun. And Oka saved him and she uses her ruler skills which robbed Hugo his power. The 2d fight is wonky and has repeated still frames but surprisingly the 3d this episode are getting better which showed on the previous episode. The credits scene new helper of Hugo? She is one of the reincarnator? We will see |

The Side chapters literally act as opposite of Kumoko's story, adds a lot of worldbuilding that Kumoko ignores and information that will be relevant in Kumoko's side. In the manga the world literally feels empty and barebones because the manga never cared about explaining it. More in deep manga talk |

| MC having fun with her inner edge lord was fun to watch. Hugo really did lose it in this episode. The teacher is more op than I expected. I never imagined it would be possible to delete someone else's skills. Although judging from the his meeting with a new reincarnate he will be coming back eventually. Wisdom skill is already sounding like a really broken. I can't blame the MC for freaking out about the idea that someone is watching her. |

| Pretty disappointed in this so far. The spider is so damn annoying, and her storyline is pretty dull. Kill things > never stop talking > get stronger > repeat. The humans offer more worldbuilding and lore which I like but I'm not especially interested in any of them as characters either. I'm guessing spider will evolve into a human-hybrid at some point (probably the demon lord). Where she'll be a villain kind-of-but-not-really. It is also obvious that there's a massive time gap between the two stories, given that the humans are all teenagers. It's not as if the spider has been in that cave for 15+ years. The bad CGI doesn't bother me too much, but with the annoying spider and her dull storyline and the (seemingly, could be wrong) predictable plot twists, I'm not especially happy with this series thus far. Although I guess I do prefer it over a few other popular isekais. |
