| This show is a safe kind of edgy that brings out my inner middle schooler. Its very much got alot of really common tropes and i really doubt its gonna really excel at any of them going off these first 2 episodes but I'm having fun. I am fully expecting this to be the kind of series thats grit is more aesthetic than actually capitalizing on grim themes but as long as its entertaining enough im good. |

| Somehow the 2nd episode is even dumber than the first. Now he has super powers that would make an X-Man jealous. If you need something with gas masks, go play Metro 2033 or something. This show just kills braincells. |
| I like the clothing design but the animation kind of isn't my style. Fights are cool though. Story seems like a power shonen, still a lot we don't know yet. |

Yeah, OP is just nitpicking so he can find literally any excuse to shit on the show. "He gOt a RaNdOm PoWeR uP" that will, oh I don't know, probably be explained if you just watch another episode or two? Lol. Bro could easily save himself some time, and spare the rest of us from the cringe, by dropping it, but that makes too much sense now doesn't it ☕️
Anyway, the visuals continue to look fine, seeing Rudo and Enjin in action was fire. The CGI for the trash beasts is my only complaint with the animation so far, but first of all, I expected them to use CGI when I saw their designs while reading the manga, and secondly, complaining about bad CGI in anime is like complaining that a fish is swimming. CGI in anime is usually bad more often than it's good, nothing new. Also, and I hate defaulting to Berserk 2016 whenever CGI is in the conversation, but some of yall are deadass acting like the CGI here is as bad as 2016 Berserk. It's not good but be fr, it's not AS BAD as that. Lmao.
People with a hate boner for shounen when a shounen anime starts off like your typical shounen anime: 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱 and with regards to the word "slop," that's just Twitter's new favorite buzzword that unfortunately has found its way over to MAL. People are rarely ever able to explain why something is slop, that's just the term they default to when they don't actually have any constructive complaints.

| @thebrentinator24 I've been far from MAL forum for a few years and I see everything changed. Insulting a shounen series for being a shounen series is really weird! Why people are forced to watch something they don't like just to treat like that? I'm liking this show so far, CGI is not all that bad, I've seen worse than this. After Episode 1, I had no idea what to expect, now I know there will be a lot of fights and I can understand how the story could progress. It's still interesting to me, I'm also happy that it seems a 2-cour series (24 episodes?). It's far from being a bad show, I still have no idea if I'll like it a lot or not, but at least the start is good. |

| Now we're getting into the shows power system. Enjin's showcase was real cool. That finisher was awesome. The finger bite was gruesome. I didn't remember it, so when it happen here, it made me a bit uncomfortable to see all the flesh torn off leaving just the bone. |
2 episodes in and still no Alice! On the other hand (pun intended) the hand gore did not get censored🥳 |

| OP with visuals was very awesome, huge fan of it, and DUSTCELL’s ED was fantastic too, that’s such a good group right there. I wasn’t super into the first half of this one, I think the trash monsters look really cool and I enjoyed the chase sequence, but I was a little put off by Rudo being able to overpower them when they looked so colossal and menacing upon their introduction, idk I just felt like that could have been done a bit better. However, Enjin did save it with his display, along with Rudo’s sicko mode moment when he made use of the power he didn’t know he had as a “giver”, and I guess he’s a pretty gifted one too since Enjin and one of the random assholes were surprised that he could use more than one object, that is a pretty epic ability tho, I loved the way the chain and wheel transformed when Rudo imbued them with power. And going based on Enjin having a similar ability and that he mentioned “cleaners”, I guess there’s a group of folks that can all make use of the souls in objects, I’m interested in seeing what they’re about and what their duties entail, besides defeating trash monsters lol. Also, I liked the info about how the “Sphere” has basically fucked the whole world up, now I really want to know how the Sphere came to be in the first place, surely the one in Las Vegas didn’t become sentient and take off right lol. |

| I was expecting Rudo to have to run away from those giant trash beasts, but he absolutely demolished the ones coming after him! Fighting with trash has never looked so cool until now. The combat versatility is insane. |

| The trash kaiju battle did not look very good... We're talking Bones here, they couldn't make them look a little nicer? Or at least feel like they're occupying the same space as the characters? The main character isn't that interesting or likable. Why can't the guy just shut up like he's told, when he was given a life-saving gas mask and there are trash monsters still chasing him? And he has super-rare super powers because of course he does... Even he doesn't seem that surprised. That "soul within objects" power system could turn out interesting, though. Overall, still pretty unimpressed, despite the cool art and music. |

We don't live anymore in the prewar era where grannies used to say "if you have nothing nice to say about someone, don't say nothing at all". We live in modern times where everyone is a critic, and you can get them in all social media networks. For instance mah boy TheReportoftheweek guy got kinda famous in youtube with one phrase "My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined". He has reviewed some good stuff along with some really bad stuff, despite it all being just junk fast food. Just because people know how to cook by the book, doesn't mean that's good enough to claim "this shit is good". Same principle applies to anime, and in this instance to battle shonen. This one is so written by the book of shonen that the only thing missing in the first episode was an index with a chapter list of how it's going to roll. Who knows maybe it gets better later on, maybe not. But as an introductory chapter, these 2 episodes have been quite mediocre and cliched. |

| Another really intense episode. This new guy, Enjin, has some amazing powers. It looks like Rudo also has powers too. It seems they're directly tied to an object, and in Rudo's case, he can use more than one. They even transform into something more destructive and powerful. I can definitely see potential with him possibly combining things together too. also, uh, Rudo kind of just ate some guys fingers. I'm looking forward to seeing who the Cleaners really are and what they do exactly. |

That OP was hot, I'm a sucker for metal; I know it's not for everyone. 😁 Definitely a better episode than the first one. I believe Gachiakuta has the potential to become one of the next leading shonen, if it isn't already
