| Another one of those rom-coms where the past comes to bite the present or in this case, the story of Naoto. As boring as I find Naoto is, he's a decent guy who looks after his sister. However, Satsuki is the one to really keep an eye on because of her connection to Naoto in the present. I remember reading the manga and she definitely has a flirty side compared to others. The manga also had a lot of fan service so go figure. This episode had those aggressive kissing scenes lmao |

| First of all, what happened to the colours? Lmaoo, forget about the weird stuff we just watched, the stuff looks like something which can make anyone blind even when being watched in a fully lit room. Already a turn off, but hey, that ain’t the only red flag. You see, not even the first minute and guy is getting called siscon and whatever(which is unfair if you ask me, but hey, anime being anime), and yeah, there’s stalking as well… … except, he ain’t the one stalking. In fact, getting stalked lol. It’s always the most plain guys ever who live the dream of us folks, I mean, will you believe me if I say, GUY GOT MOLESTED BY A SMOKING HOT BLONDE IN FRONT OF HIS LIL SIS, AUNT AND CRUSH.. no, WHAT?!?!?!? Kiss lasted for about 30 seconds, I counted. Couple more and he’d have got choked lol. Seriously, this is dumb, being pretty honest. You have a GARDEN WRECKER out for dick and she’d kill the guy, if she didn’t get it. Over the top yandere, not the characters I like. Doesn’t seem like something which would be a lot of fun, even while being dumb. Will check out a couple more episodes. |
| I was not expecting mangaka Naru Narumi to have yet another one of her works adapted into anime, and as a source reader having read the completed manga series of Watari-kun no xx ga Houkai Sunzen a.k.a Watari-kun's ****** Is about to Collapse, it's a far distinction from her other work of Spring 2018's Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san a.k.a Ms. Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles (which is still in serialization). Yuika's OP is a whole Summer vibe of a boppingly good song, I'll give it that. The 2nd year student of Naoto Watari having his close group of friends (like Shigenobu Tokui and Yukari Ishihara) settle in for the school clubs, who otherwise know him as the siscon that his life revolving around his 10-year-old younger sister Suzushiro living without their late parents who passed in an accident...though his 28-year-old NEET of Aunt Tamayo sure got under his skin quite fast. That said, the "siscon" of a loving and caring brother whose life feels good with Suzu, finds trouble when a blonde girl stalks him from behind. The thing is, Ishihara may be a beauty, but the aforementioned girl of Satsuki Tachibana always calling out to Naoto, but because his history with her is so bad to the point of total avoidance as a "Garden-Crusher" who wrecked his fields 6 years ago and left without a word, as much as the fields remind Suzu of her time with her brother ploughing the fields, which she got escorted back home fast. And since Suzu wants a garden, using the backyard is the only choice, and that's where Satsuki comes in with her hoe, and the misunderstanding...resolved by a deep kiss that sets quite the mood, it's quite the fatal attack for Nao. Welp, Naoto getting hammered by Tamayo, Suzu, and even Ishihara, of which Satsuki just casually caressed the latter's boobs thinking that she's his style, and the actual history behind them 6 years ago, was that they actually got along together just fine...until Satsuki tore through his garden without any warning. And the meeting now to reconcile things and return the hoe, certainly got out of hand with his reputation tarnished when she gets close to Suzu. The siscon fervently protecting his sister, and her knowing that Satsuki helped them out in the past, she's certainly an asset for help with their current garden. But Ishihara appearing at Naoto's doorstep to have a short time with him shopping for gardening stuff for school (as well as for Suzu), his interest certainly has changed quite a fair bit in the same period since. For Satsuki to look just like the girl he met all the time back, she's certainly teasing him alright to at least help him clean his backyard, which her indecency sure doesn't help things for Tamayo to see yet another pervertic front from his cousin. PEDRO's ED is good, and playful too. Yup, just as every bit of WTF as the manga itself. This will be quite the rom-com drama I'm expecting to watch in anime form. |

| So, Naoto lives with his younger sister, Suzushiro. Tachibana, who had ruined their garden six years ago, was supposed to grow up with them. Since then, Satsuki's whereabouts have been unknown, but recently she transferred to Naoto's school. Naoto faces Tachibana, who constantly follows him in a creepy manner. I like the scene where Tachibana and Naoto kiss, especially when Yukari-chan catches them. The way Satsuki wields the hoe is very unsettling, giving off a yandere vibe. Naoto is referred to as "ero monkey" because he kissed Suzu. Yukari meets Naoto and Tachibana, and Tachibana guesses Yukari's oppai size, which is an F cup.  Tachibana is willing to do anything for Naoto, even if it involves ecchi things. It seems Naoto misunderstood, lol. Tachibana helps Suzu, who is injured. In the end, they make up because Suzu encourages them to reconcile. Yukari and Naoto go shopping together; Yukari asks Naoto if he is dating Tachibana. I like Tachibana's intention to help out in the garden, but this lewd situation arises again, lol. |

| Ah yes our obligatory seasonal slop HS romcom where the side girl is gonna be the best girl and lose because the author has a crush on the FMC, MC is an insufferable loser and siscon, overly reliant on fanservice, casual abuse/stalking, etc etc. We move on from Danjoru to this. Seen one, you’ve seen em all. Not horrible, just doesn’t do anything new and you can already tell how this one’ll go. Mindless entertainment. Ishihara best girl. The challenge with this show is gonna be if the author can prevent it from getting stale and give the FMC some redeeming qualities. Most of the gags with Tachibana were tolerable today, but will that be the case 3 months from now? Also casually sexually assaulting the MC in the first episode isn’t usually a way to endear yourself. I am kinda curious how they’ll explain suzu not remembering tachibana destroying the garden and why she did it in the first place. Will have to be a really good reason for me to not hate her. But from what I’ve seen from people who read this.. I’ll be disappointed. |

| Interesting episode Is it just me or do the colours look really weird? Alright so, first episode we get a make-out scene? cool, love to see it. Naoto is a good guy, he cares for his sister a lot and I can respect that. I have a feeling this is going to go like 'Can A Boy-Girl Relationship Survive' I don't know why but I have a feeling that it will turn out like that. I'm getting ready to get disappointed and getting ready to see really weird moments. Satsuki is odd, she looks good though. 4/5 |
| What passes for humor in this might get stale long before the characters get any development or redemption. I'll suffer 3 episodes of this over-saturated eye-poison and then decide if the Aunt can carry it or not. |
| A pretty amusing first episode for sure! This love triangle started really quickly and intensely with our mc receiving a hot kiss from one girl, while the other one almost accidentally blurted out her feelings it looks like. These three characters dynamic reminded me a bit of Nisekoi (Yukari in particular seems quite close personality wise and situation wise to Onodera, while the mc also has some Raku vibes). Satsuki looks like a fairly complex character who'll do the unexpected, should be interesting! So far, not a whole lot of drama, just a fun romcom with a love triangle and a couple of goofy side characters. Let's see where it goes from there :) |

The title is not wrong he collapsed.. 11 min in first episode have to one of the quickest to kiss in romcom history. Siscon mc, yandere main girl yeah this will get spicy and controversial. Suzu is cute tho and need to be protected like she is. Isihara is nice and cute too. But so far I liked Satsuki and her fked up nature more. Reading synopsis I thought I wouldn't but so far so good. I can kinda guess where that garden destroyer drama is coming from, I think she is coming from good place. Maybe I am saying bs but this two really need to sit down and talk but that will end the show in 4 episodes not 16 volume of managa. I don't even expect romcom protagonist not to dense nowadays. Girl literally made out with you, what's the point in asking what you want...😑 Suzu approves Satsuki not Isihara lol. Need to be a good love triangle/harem anime. Too early but I am in blonde camp. I have been burned with Himari last season, I want to root for childhood friend main girl. Satsuki antics are rather enjoyable and hot so far hopefully she and this anime doesn't disappoint. Some of the background has weird colours but nothing majorly offputting for me. Meh OP but ED was rather impressive. I think I have something special to look forward to.. |

| As a manga reader I thought the VA's chosen are actually perfect for these roles. However the animation really disappointed me. I'm fine with how colorful the show is as well. |

| Animation somewhat low rent, particularly backgrounds. Motion a bit weird but have not put my finger on it yet. Color palette unusual, but I think I will come to like it. Yandere is always a plus for Evil Overlords like me. No GD tsundere has shown up yet, that's a big plus for me. Also have a pretty good hajidere. Imouto needs lots of development, not cute enough yet (as a little sister). |

| Tachibana gives low-key yandere vibes, but I guess she's just socially awkward and "mysterious". It feels like a trash, but I'm still mildly interested. But the constant humiliation of the purple haired chick is kinda hard to watch. They didn't even try to give a hint of a will they/won't they. There is nothing and I'm afraid it'll get annoying real fast. |

| I like girls with a few screw loose but Satsuki just seems like a overly teasing type rather than a yandere. There's definitely some reason why she wrekt the garden or it could be that she didn't even do it and was covering for someone/some reason. The glasses guy gives me the creeps though, he seems bad news. Could be that he likes Yukari and doesn't like that she seems to like Naoto. The aunt seems like a fun character, that racoon/ringtail I think it is? too and the imouto's adorable. Good voice casting for the characters as well. Anyway somewhat interesting premiere which feels like would turn dark or that's the feeling I've been getting from this series. Never ended up reading the manga cause I was waiting for it to end and then it ended with anime announcement, so just waited for the anime to come out. While the animation is like barely there I don't particularly mind since I'm here for the story but obviously good animation would have been better. Theme songs were pretty nice though. |

| Would it be weird if I said I actually liked the first episode in some strange way? Hahahahahaha I laughed so much, honestly! I think this anime has some oddly strong potential! I guess the name really says it all—Watari kun Is About to Collapse. I also liked the opening and ending. The opening strangely reminded me of *K-On*. I’m excited for the next episode! | Like many have pointed out, wtf is the deal with the colouring? It feels like the director watched The Kawai Complex (also a terrible anime) and thought, "hey maybe if we have puke rainbow colors everywhere it will look cool". Also why are like 85% of the scenes filled with that stupid blurry filter as if it's supposed to be some dream sequence? The spineless and dense main protag is also quite a problem, not to mention the forced love triangle (dud is the most bland main character, but somehow one of the hottest girls in school is already quite interested in him, not to mention his creepy stalker childhood friend). Not even interested in the dumb garden mystery. This is an easy drop since day one. |

| Decent prologue for a romcom. I don’t know why it’s rated so low when it’s literally just the season premiere, but whatever. That said, from the vibes I got from this episode, it seems like it’s going to be a love triangle between Satsuki, Naoto, and Yukari. I haven’t seen enough of the characters yet to know who I want to root for, but so far, I’m really liking Satsuki. I love a pushy girl, so I guess I’m rooting for her for now. Yukari’s pretty cute too, but she feels like your typical heroine, which is kind of lame and boring to me. Each of the two girls has a pro and a con. Satsuki’s pushy personality is her pro, but the garden incident is her con. Yukari, on the other hand, has Naoto’s interest as her pro, but her shyness as her con. So honestly, I have no idea who’s winning Naoto over, haha. |
| That was a surprisingly fun episode. The MC is decent, even better. We've got cute imouto, hot and cute girls, and ecchiness. What else is there to need! |
