Yea the end so damn exciting. Not to mention how this God Eye dude using mannequin to lure Lin Ling out of his comfortable zone and become his true self hero. Not so bad guy and best episode by far. | After second and third episode I was thinking, wow, this got rly boring after the pilot, gonna DNF. Then I watched the fourth and I'm glad I did. The payoff, the ending, the themes. Love it so far. The creators play with the story pacing well. Still, I think the world building and "magic system" episodes (2,3) could be done better and more integrated into the main plot but its so far a storytelling masterpiece (in reality it isn't) compared to other famous ehm ehm over-hyped series. |
| You know. I was actually a bit annoyed with what I thought to be a fake out at the end of episode 1/start of episode 2. If you're going to show a character dying, then fucking stick to it! But uh, careful what I wish for I guess. I never actually quite liked Moon, nor did I hate her for that matter. Just... a meh character for me. That is until the very end of this episode! That being stuck in an uninhabited island sequence was funny. Andddd now she's dead. This is a personal spite on me. I think I'm joining the fear faction. |

So apparently this Nice arc is told in reverse and the first 4 episodes are the ending of the story… not sure how to feel about that considering the ending of the episode

@ZXEAN nah mate. The director Li Haoling has confirmed that the story is being told in reverse order. So Ep24 (the episode for X) is actually the beginning. And Ep 1-4 is the end.

| Another Banger episode with lots of moral philosophy. I really thought he had Moon but that was just a ploy to make Nice come clean, and despite that people believed in the sincerity of his love. Very satisfying ending to that fight. The real Moon is lost on a deserted island, oh my. And WTH is up with her being killed AGAIN? What??? |
