| Seemed like a major dip in animation from episode one. Maybe major is too strong of a word, but it was very noticeable. It feels like it is setting up a harem which is not really my cup of tea. I'm kind of interested in the direction it takes though, so I will probably stick around. I like Beryl's character, after all. That is probably enough for a show like this as long as it doesn't get boring. |

| Guess we now know the backstory of Allucia and our MC met more of his former students (of course all female...). Definitely not as good of an episode as the first one, especially with the "I'm older than you" loli at the end and the sudden duel trope. |

| This was... pretty bad. Two episodes in and they're just establishing the Harem. Also that this is a power fantasy just from "an old fart"'s perspective. Because you know, I too noticed that once I got over 40 my relaxes got sharper and movements fasters... obviously. |

| Beryl being a week into the special instructor role, it's defintely wearing on him a bit. But going back to when Allucia first met Beryl, the student being intimidated by the old country bumpkin swordsman and then taught by him, it was certainly a humbling lesson both on the skill front and the relationship between master and student, for all the 10 years in her life before becoming the Liberion Order's Royal Order of Knights commander that she is today. But Allucia hearing Curuni's date bona fide date with Beryl, much less meeting yet another student of his: Magic Corps' wizard mage Ficelle Harbeller whom she trained with him for 5 years, her swordsmanship skills definitely haven't faltered, with the magic integration. However, the Magic Corps' commander Lucy Diamond personally coming to find Beryl (albeit looking like a lil' young Miss) to have a friendly duel, she's certainly not joking. Beryl's not being let up with the endless challenges alright... |

| The actual swordsmanship is fairly decent. It fits well within its artstyle and production direction. Doesn't feel exactly top-tier fight choreography. But, its not supposed to. It hits the correct, teacher-man teaching teach vibes. While still playing up the level of intensity that the students would face. In terms of going head-to-head with a superior boss. |

| Cool episode I liked how the first half of the episode was about Allucia and her backstory about how she trained with Beryl, so she started off when she was young and after she graduated from his Dojo she couldn’t let his skills go unnoticed by the world so she set things up so he would become a teacher at the capital, Allucia really loves her master a lot and tbh it’s kind of endearing that she wants the world to see Beryl’s skills bc tbh I think the world should know too, he’s too strong to just go unnoticed by the public Ain’t no way the Mangaka went 5 for 5 with the girl designs man bc Lucy and Fice looks so BEAUTIFUL AND HOT and I already love Fice and her calm yet jokey personality she has, she’s so funny for fake crying and saying “boohoo” and “peek” like she’s so cute and I love her short hair and red eye combo the thigh high boots make her design look great (I’m a sucker for thigh high socks and boots😅) Anywho YESSIRRRRR we got 2 lolis in this episode first with the flashback story about Allucia and then we got the smug loli Lucy Diamond THANK THE LORD WE GOT A LOLI bc if one is in a show that’s how you know the show is goated asf. Anyway somebody pass me Lucy pls😭💢😭💢😭💢      |
