This episode pretty much resembles the latter half of this first Dandadan season: it’s just…ok. A lot of “wtf” “what am I even watching” moments (today we got the muscle man running meme, I laughed), zero substance, a plot that is either non existent or completely nonsensical and some corny humor. After Solo Leveling and Kaiju No.8 this is the biggest disappointment of the last few years (not in terms of adaptations, in general), too well praised for being this meh

| Unfortunately, this new guy that was on the poster since the beginning is actually annoying as i was afraid of, and in hindsight i'm relieved he didn't appear before. Good for him to apologize to Momo for past bad things, but still. Not a fan of the chase sequence this time, including the famous music choice. Ok ending in its own weird way, but mostly because Okarun becomes more sure of having feelings for Momo i think. |

| So Jiji is more a goof ball. Slightly annoying sometimes but I guess it would just take a bit to get used to him. I don't really blame Okarun for being so self defeatist even though it can be frustrating to see, he's just had many years of bad experience to get past. Lol never would have expected an anatomy dummy romance. |

| The ending scene with the anatomical models, Taro and Hana was pure gold. I could just feel how much Taro's VA, Tomokazu Sugita, had fun just yelling randomly for his role in this episode. Jiji as well might have a pretty face but in Dandadan-style, be an absolute goof beyond belief - even though Okarun was still jealous of him as a result. At least with that random cinematic scene at the end, that should give Okarun briefly more confidence to be strong and not give in. I will say, Jiji isn't someone I particularly enjoy that much, especially in large doses so his character for me felt a bit flat here. Too much like a Zenitsu type from Demon Slayer in my head. Rest of the episode was solid. One more episode to go and this has been a pretty damn good anime to say the least, hopefully the ending for this season is satisfying enough or another season announcement takes place when the final episode drops. Good that I managed to catch up with the anime in time. Don't think this is my anime of the season but it's not far off, at least it is one of the few shows I managed to enjoy from this during a very busy period in my life. |
| The childhood friend-first love of Jin "Jiji" Enjoji...he's defintely yet another weirdo, but to live with them definitely sets alarm bells ringing, bringing the friends once again into turmoil. Momo sending her usual regards to Okarun otherwise (with feelings shut away at each other), Jiji's true plot of his parents getting exorcised by an evil spirit haunting their house to then commit countless murders, this is yet another opportunity to learn where to get Okarun's other golden ball...and the uniforms in tow. His weirdo frenetic self, even bringing that spirit to school, definitely is infectious upon communication, and that clearly affects none other than Okarun who feels jealous of Momo potentially dating Jiji for real, given their close proximity. But to have the golden ball be located in a half-human, half-naked body experiment running straight like it never cared for which direction it ran, and it is quite the challenge for Okarun, Momo and Jiji to give chase until they lost his trail for a moment, until she caught onto his heart and stopped him in his tracks. And yep, Taro and Nana's pseudo relationship, while definitely giving the golden ball of spark to Okarun, that might just do it to give him the boost he needs. Onto the cursed house after this diversion! |

| I wasn't expecting this dummy scene to hit me so hard. The Ost was glorious, This adaptation has just been amazing. Next episode is the last but thankfully another season is already greenlit due to the insane popularity of this anime. |

| Okay. Jiji is cringe but he doesn't seem to be a prick so I'm fine with him joining the group. But seriously, quite funny how a possessed anatomy mannequin had to spawn outta nowhere to inspire Okarun to man up. One episode left. |

| What the hell was this episode? The moment Okarun realized he felt the same way about Momo was really cute, my stomach dropped a little. And the way Okarun saved Momo and Jiji in traffic was smooth as hell. I hope Okarun becomes more confident in himself and sees that Momo does like him. Jiji is rather interesting, he brings a nice vibe to the group. He's significantly better than Aira who is annoying as fuck. I don't want to watch the last episode because we won't have anymore episodes until the summer :( |

| I had some hope that Jiji would turn out to be a normal one, but no. Somehow every character in this series is a freak. Also, I like Jiji’s BGM a lot, that thing slaps. |
