Finally We're back after a week break for the worst or for the good.
Akane-Chan thought this is the end😭 of their relationship & we don't want her to cry anymore ever again but Aqua my boy knows how to rizz her😆.
Ruby unsatisfied with the outcome and got glimpses of what happened in the past life and seems like she'll carry Aqua's previous will.
Crow Girl keeps interfering, oshi no ko is getting more exciting. Crow girl revealed how
told Ai's whereabouts to that stalker/murderer ☠️.
Kana's gesture in cold water 😍 😂Kawaii.
Crow keeps getting involved a lot since The very beginning.
Ruby's resentments keeps growing 😨 got chills in my bone.
Akane-Chan in the bath Ecchi 😂 thinking about her relationship with aqua is not anymore a reality show dating & Kana☠️ too sad I hear someones heart is breaking, Emojis can definitely express more than words.
Ruby's Eyes got dark 😰😰 declare Emergency!! those murderous eyes are intended to kill that one culprit, these eyes are dangerous for her too, Aqua needs to interfere in this matter.

Ruby's Wishes for "Aqua will find the culprit who killed 2 important person to her"😶‍🌫️.
finally the Music Video is ready for publication but the heck we witnessed!! Ruby's eyes got dark 😰.
With this Season 2 is now finally concluded but with dangerous consequences.
ED Song now Perfectly makes sense.
Don't forget to watch Post Credits.
Kamiki you're for real a dangerous person.

Great conclusion, and what a set up for whatever's to come next! I knew things'd take an interesting turn when the Miyazaki plan started taking off.

Surprised that Aqua was using Akane-san to find his past self's corpse too, I thought he lost a little bit of control over himself but I guess not. Looks like Aqua is hesitant to call it off yet but I wonder how it'll change once he finds himself back in the revenge plot.

Crow girl makes her first appearance too! Two people lurking in the hospital, I'm guessing the other person must've been the real dad. Very short and just a kid, though. Considering Ai-san was about 17-18 then, so maybe not? And damn, that shot of Ruby in the river with those revenge-activated bloodshot eyes. She's been focused on just finding the doctor so time to switch gears, finally. It'll be interesting to see when the two find out about each other's plot and work together to solve the mystery. Even during the nighttime conversation with Akane-san, there was an eerie vibe from her deadpan stare.

A shrine visit to end off the trip. Given the buildup, I was totally prepared for some kind of showdown, lol. Crow girl was around so I suppose it wasn't for naught. For it to come after the credits, though - Not bad. Who the heck was that taken out though?

Pretty dope MV they came up with! Ruby used that anger to good effect, just like Aqua. Responsibility seems to have switched for the time being and I can't wait to get started on the Ruby revenge plot to air next.

While the animation was going absolutely bonkers, I still felt it was a little lacking with the progression. Hope it'll come back to that and put it centerstage. Still, strong 8/10 from here.

Season 3 announced, let's go!

Must be something getting to know about your own dead body rotting in a super dark cave. Though such is this series and such is this guy saying this was all meant to be. Also man, when I look back and see whatever the hell they did with Akane after this point, it just kind of shows the author became clueless what to do with his characters and what to do with his main guy’s image of an even more edgy Sasuke. I mean look, even Ruby has jumped the “i wIlL tAkE rEVeNgE” bandwagon lol.

Now her revenge will be covered to a BIGGER extent in the next season.. I wish they cover around chapter 120ish something, that’s her revenge. Anyway, if getting L’s is a talent, then Kana is a maestro in this field. Girl just can’t have good days:( So if anything, this finale has established that there is more to revenge and… revenge alone going forward. That music video might have eased up the tense mood, but that too was just an attempt in the end lol. A third season is already coming, obviously it is, but yeah, this one was better than the first one.

I'm truly so incredibly happy right now.
This is the best anime adaptation ever, it's absolutely beautiful and everything I've ever dreamed of.

Crow girl is so cool and unsettling, and Ruby is finally joining the revenge plot, sharing the same grudge as Aqua has. I love how they animate it, especially the black stars in her eyes this time, she’s so cool! The animators did justice. I'm so hyped for the next season now.

By the way, there's a post-credits scene at the end, so be sure not to miss it.

Anyway, see ya next season, it gets crazy from here.

What a dense 22 minutes.
It's a challenge from the director. Many fine clues are here and there.

Following the stars in Ruby's eyes in the music video for «POP IN 2», you can clearly track when the footage materials were taken and how they are spliced together.

Miyazaki Prefecture's tourism revenue is expected to explode this winter.

Man so much packed into this final episode.

First we start off with the dead body discovery. Ruby is almost emotionless. Aqua seeing his own dead body from his previous, cant imagine what would be that like. Surprisingly still wants to carry out the shooting as scheduled.

We then get into the conversation between Akane and Aqua. Aqua confesses that he was apparently using Akane again (no surprise there) to find out the dead bodys whereabouts & apologizes. Akane again understands and starts tearing up with this being their final parting as a couple, but Aqua suddenly kisses and proposes to continue the relationship for real this time with his revenge being over. I have mixed feelings over this, cause is this because of aquas previous talk about not able to date kana in the previous episode? a gratitude towards akane for supporting him & what happens when he finds out his revenge isnt over? Is he gonna use akane again then? I hope this is genuine feelings & not some half assed thing cause akane deserves better.
Moving on to ruby. Shes reminiscing her past especially about goro. She finally meets crow girl and we get a proper conversation with her for the first time. She gives Ruby a lot of info especially about the culprits which were two individuals one of which (ai's Stabber) is dead and so the other younger being still alive i guess. But thats all we get from her and its upto ruby to find out, setting her down on a dark path tbh like aqua before.

Anyways Shooting for the video begins Kana has her cute and funny moments which were adorable as usual. Memchos friend whos directing all this analyzes all the three girls and their talent for the idol industry, only Ruby is the odd one out for her since she doesnt stand out much even with the pretty face. But that all changes as Ruby channels her dark side with all the feelings inside her and thus we finally get the dark star ruby.

I got chills & felt that despair from her which usually came from aqua but even worse. Girl has spiralled down for real. Even Anemone felt it from that distance.
Shooting finally gets done and then we get some relaxation hot spring time (love the fan service)
Akane is in there contemplating everything that has happened including her recent start of a real relationship. Kana suddenly appears and also joins her.
They have a nice rare bonding time which i loved.Kana giving complements on akanes new movie and tells her to cherish it as a big achviement also telling her how important it is for her career. At the end Akanes spills the beans on the new relationship which surprises kana. Poor kana cant catch a break. Hope she can stay strong.
Back in the room, ruby asks akane about aqua and his life choices on being an actor. Akane reveals to some extent but not everything knowing how it can create a dire situation similar to aqua.
We then get a shrine scene where everyone prays and ruby being the only one with the wildest prayer of aqua being successfull on finding the killer.

The music video finally gets finished by anemone which was well done and amazingly choreographed. Love the music and visuals. Ruby with the constant switch from her dark star mode to normal was kinda eerie in such a cheerful video a little shocking as well. But the music video was a hit apparently so good for B Komachi i guess.

Finally we get a time skip of 6 months where Aqua & ruby are 2nd years while kana akane are 3rd years in their lives. It was kinda refreshing seeing aqua be the normal one with his life while ruby still harboring the dark eyes with vengeance still in her mind.

Then comes the final Big surprise. Our Dear father has made an appearance yet again and this time he has added another poor young victim with Star eyes to his list again. Bros just a serial killer at this point. Anyways they just gave us another tempting bait at the end to the season.

Well glad to have this as final episode as its been a great season with lot of good theatre arcs and twists & plot progression at the end. The focus has now shifted from brother to the sister. So excited to see how the story goes on now. On a happy note season 3 has been announced so will be looking forward to it.

Crowgirl is adorable. She stirred up things though unlike what Akane was hoping for. Really like Akane and happy for her. Ruby also awakened, that shot with her on the river looked sick. She also now understand whats going on and what Aqua's been doing all this time. Their MV was really cute. Also that post credit scene.

Another very well adapted season by Doga Kobo. The animation during the stage play arc or in general was pure eye candy. Props to the staff. Glad we already got new season announcement, looking forward to it.

@MyllerPhiem
She is an actress by the name of "片寄ゆら Katayori Yura." She is yet another victim of the series of murders, and this is practically the only scene in which she appears.

So this is not a spoiler.

Absolute Cinema. Great finale, I'm very satisfied with this season, the Tokyo Blade arc is really an amazing arc, in this arc we can see how all kinds of actors have to take steps to perform and how the behind-the-scenes work of adapting a manga work into a theater.

Aqua tells Akane that he feels very guilty for using Akane for revenge purposes and of course Akane will forgive that. Akane began to open her heart more and more and she couldn't hold back her tears, Aqua who realized that with his rizz he made Akane calm down again, it seemed that Aqua had really moved on and forgot all about his revenge, Aqua really didn't see any loopholes in his case at all and when he found out the truth, Aqua would definitely feel even more pain than before.

Kana oh Kana you are so cute, but unfortunately it looks like Aqua and Akane are already in an actual love relationship. Kana gave some advice to Akane to continue to be careful in taking steps to become increasingly famous, and of course Kana is very jealous of her, it's okay Kana there are also many people who support you to keep your spirits up, but it seems that I have a bad feeling in season 3 for Kana i fear....

DARK RUBYY IS HEREEE, I've been waiting for this episode since the announcement of season 2 lol. Dark Ruby is my favorite content in OnK and from here on there will be a lot of interesting things that will be shown especially from here on the real plot of OnK will run faster than before. Crow Girl finds out what Ruby wants to know, Ruby after knowing that does not remain silent and starts to search for the murderer of the 2 people she loves. Akane again helps the two siblings for their revenge mission, really a suitable character to be used as a plot advancer.

There is one scene that makes me a little disappointed, namely the scene in the temple when Ruby prays for Aqua to find the culprit, why Ruby's eyes are blue? whereas previously pink or blue colors wanted to show that behind Ruby's Black Star eyes there was deep sadness, idk I'm just a little disappointed but everything else is absolute cinema.

In the ED song, there is a part that changes, namely the visual that glitch after the camera close-up of Ruby's eyes and turns into Black Star eyes, and seems to want to show that the longer Ruby's vision is getting chaotic and uncontrollable, I feel sorry for her but I like it when a character changes and makes the plot advance faster, Ruby is really an amazing character. Hikaru seemed to kill someone who looked like Akane but it was definitely not Akane, I will just wait for what Oshi no Ko season 3 will bring next, see you again in Season 3!

The revelation of Ruby finding Gorou Amamiya's corpse, Miyako has grave concerns over her, as much as Aqua and Akane wants to be the first to discover the corpse, the fomer not realizing that it's his patient who found it in the first place, as much as he's been using Akane to forward his ideals. But with the matter being found out, Aqua can finally heave a sigh of relief, even kissing Akane to make sure that he has her support all the way. The crowgirl definitely knows how to invoke the past of Ruby and Aqua, especially for the sister who found the corpse, and amidst the filming for B-Komachi's new MV, it's Ruby's turn to succeed Aqua in revenge.

The post-celebration from the filming, and everyone has their own agendas, especially Ruby knowing her own brother's quest for revenge, which has all but been quelled from his mind. It's quite the poppy MV for B-Komachi as time passes and everyone is making good progress.

Season 3 with the Main Story arc coming soon, this story still has aways to go.

If only the entire play arc was as interesting as these past couple episodes. Though it does feels a bit unsatisfying to leave the season there with even more questions. While I know the fact they reincarnated is a supernatural/fantasy element, hoping the series doesn't become too much of that. Can't say I'm a big fan of the new unknown girl just kind of spilling the beans to Ruby unless there's more to it.

After some days of delay we finally got to see how this arc ends and boy oh boy does it set a stage for a spicy season 3.

Indeed, from Akane's side she was able to put her feelings for Aqua into words and was able to let him go as she saw herself not deserving to be her girlfriend. However considering all the effort she has put into aiding him he'll start to reciprocate wit his desire for revenge being over...

At least it probably would have been if it wasn't for Ruby transformation in the last 2 episodes finally catching up to her side of the incidents that transpired 16 years prior and with the crow girl giving her that push for revenge. She's probably gonna become obsessed and I wonder how is this going to affect the new B Komachi with Mem cho being now the bright side of the group and Kanna just being the face and putting in her role as an actress into the idol motion.

This was a great season, pretty on par with the first one and with quite the bar to strive. Not only did it deliver in animation during some stage play moments but it also continued in its path to talk about the industry while also focusing on the relationship between the different character. While there is certainly a plain of disbelief regarding how teenager can have such intense monologues and thought processes (even of a younger age considering Kanna's case for example) once you set it aside it makes for quite the drama and lets you in on their perspective. I appreciate that as much as I do the opening and ending sequences being on point and the final music video having such color and rhythm while portraying Ruby's now darker desire.

It's been confirmed that it will come back in the future, how could it not considering how it ended. The question is whether it can maintain this level of quality or start to fall off.

Clearly, this episode is probably one of the best of Oshi no ko season 2, absolutely incredible.

So much to say, the relationship between Akane and aqua finally becoming more interesting, and touching at the same time. The characters have really evolved since the premiere, and we're talking about RUBY, who goes over to the dark side with that double star in her eyes, a new objective, and above all the fact that she's taking over from Aqua.
The mysterious gray-haired girl, perhaps a supernatural being, has opened her eyes to reality. It's a real shock, and I'm sad to see Ruby lose the innocence I loved so much about her. But it shows, once again, the depth and quality of the work.

The season is already over, and the good news: the announcement of season 3 is already here.

@Paul Agree of some points here. I could easily do without Tokyo Blade arc and not watching some NPC's backstories.
I also felt final episode was tense but a bit anticlimactic and a teaser at the end.
And I am also concerned how crow girl (god?) will fit into it going forward.
But happy for Akane and Aqua.

This season ended exactly where I figured it would when I was catching up to the manga, with "Dark Ruby" proclaiming that she's out for revenge as well, but I wasn't expecting them to add in the post-ED scene with Aqua and Ruby's dad killing the girl. This was a good conclusion with a chilling cliffhanger that sets the stage for S3, which thankfully already got announced.

Another good season of OnK in the books, they did justice to the stage play arc and then ended things with some nice twists and added mysteries. Looking forward to S3.

The after credit scene is that aqua's father or something and who also has starry eyes if that is him. And YES akane and aqua finally kissed for real eventho I think he only did that because he can't go in an relationship with kana because of the idol thing. Anyway it was an banger episode and I can't wait for the next season!!!

It doesn't feel like it's the last episode at all. Overall, another good episode BUT... CRINGE, why did they go for a total edgy Ruby? I spat all over the screen when I saw all the girls happy because of something and Ruby standing on the side like a pole with a poker face XDD it was so funny, it could have been more subtle, Ruby could have pretended from the outside that nothing was wrong with her or something, ehh it came out too funny. Besides, YES Akane won (for now) although I feel sorry for Kane, she was really funny in this episode.

Finally, I'll say that despite a few hiccups, I liked this season more than the first one.
