| "The stakes just got raised", well, you wouldn't fucking know it with how quirky and comedic this episode was. The biggest problem with this show, the comedy doesn't particularly mesh well with the more serious plot. It's not the funniest material I've seen either. |

| I don't know where this anime is going and I can't predict what's gonna happen next. But man, the controlled petrification and the WHY message were fckn terrifying. There's only 4 episodes left and I'm hoping for more seasons/full adaptation. And if the finale disappoints I won't even care. This has been a wild ride so far. |
| i did not expect everyone on the ship to be petrified which is insane to think about like if senku and the others fail or also get petrified then everyone is practically dead since their only hope of reviving anyone was with either the miracle liquid which was destroyed or the platinum but of course even with them they would need Senku to have the knowledge to be able to create the cure. I can only imagine the fear that the team on the ship is feeling since they probably realize they could be stuck as statues for another 3000 years with almost no amount of hope to be revived and even worse the thought of everyone back at the village would be long dead if they are stuck as statues. anyways this ep is a 10/10 once again! |

| So the petrification beam technology exists on treasure island. Since the global petrification millennia ago, it's been activated more times explaining the sunken statues Ginro found whilst diving. The Treasure Islanders live under constant threat of petrification by the master (maybe the Why man is one of them). Is there something more to Amaryllis thinking Soyuz is the master (a son perhaps?) or is it just part of a gag? |

| Man, that was chilling. So someone in Treasure Island has the technology to petrify people, huh? Now that's an interesting twist. Really liking the path the story is taking so far. |

| Ha classic Senku can't be pursued by just looks. The face he made after Amaryllis's approach was jsut too good. But anyway, there are more pressing matters at hand with the reveal of the petrification being connected to this not so deserted island. Such a twist will surely be the center of the attention now and we'll see how the last 4 remaining members of the scientific team deal with it. Escalating episode |

| Oh man, things are getting juicy. I was genuinely surprised to see everyone petrified on the ship, but at least Suika made it out! By far the most interesting episode so far. I can't wait to see Senku learn whatever the secret behind the petrification beam is. |
| Good episode. And now we can properly focus on a few characters. Amaryllis has joined the party. So I guess someone can use the Petrification Beam over a small area too. Maybe the first use was on a global scale because of modern technology? |
