| If Frieren loves old junk like that, just imagine how she'll react if she was taken to a massive antiques store. It'll be comparable to a kid going to a sweets store! XD The dungeon exploring was really fascinating, seeing how differently some people take to their approach of dealing with this 2nd exam test. Once again, I think Denken is playing really smart by being part of a larger group, although I'm hoping that both Kamme and Lawine can do well together. Frieren's love of exploring a dungeon is thanks to Himmel once more, after showing her how more fun and satisfying it is to explore each floor fully before moving on. It does have that feel of a JRPG, where you want to explore as much of an area as you can for any hidden chests or secrets before moving onto the next area, so just like with Fern, it made me smile, too. That said, this exam is starting to show its ruthlessness. Denken's group went down one member after letting her guard down and being separated, although I do respect Denken for calling out to her to use her emergency escape golem, which worked like a treat. Not only that, but facing mud clones of themselves also proveed to be a tough battle. However, that battle will look like an easy cakewalk compared to his group now having to battle a clone of Frieren herself, which felt fitting for a cliffhanger ending while the soundtrack goes into epic mode. It does set up the next episode to being a juicy one. Even though it's a 4v1, Denken's group is going to have a REALLY difficult time dealing with this Frieren clone, so I highly look forward to seeing how his group gets on next time. |

| Finally caught up with the latest episode. Not as action packed so far, but glad that the flashbacks are there regarding Himmel's attitude towards dungeons. This dungeon test reminds me of the dungeon raids in Magi. Seeing Frieren enjoying the objects she has gathered is such a joy to watch. The coöperation idea is a good one, except it would makes things so so and predictable. I wonder if Sense is that girl that bloke was trying to impress. |

Denken's team also seems to have great abilities, though one has already failed due to bad luck. I feel kind of bad for her... I agree that teaming up is a pretty wise decision and can make the mission easier, but I also agree with the guy who said that it's risky and there's a possibility of being used and then discarded. In the end, it all comes down to skill and luck. Ubel seems to be going with Land... or more like, following him, lol. We haven't seen the two of them yet. But before that... oh my, oh my, Denken's team has to fight against "Frieren" first. The action scenes were really cool btw! |

I agree that teaming up is a pretty wise decision and can make the mission easier, but I also agree with the guy who said that it's risky and there's a possibility of being used and then discarded. In the end, it all comes down to skill and luck.

| Yeaaaah once I saw the first clones be made I thought wtf was gonna happen with a Frieren clone. I was expecting each group would have to fight their own copies, but it seems there is more intent behind whatever is making them. Perhaps this means there won't also be a clone of the test runner cause that seems a little unfair to most of the test takers lol. If Dunken and pals happen to whip up a mimic they should be able to get by just fine tho lmao. |

| seeing present day frieren get caught in a mimic, and watching fern having to deal with it was cute. also interesting strategy to deal with a mimic that brings up equally interesting things about mimic physiology :O the 3 of them are cute together (≧∇≦) |

| That conversation between Fern and Sense shows you that what Frieren has became to Fern, is basically the same dynamic as what Himmel inspired to Frieren. It just reinforces Himmel status as the GOAT. This is brillant writing. Himmel's influence keeps radiating through the characters and I feel like it's what makes him a Hero, more than defeating the Demon King. I think there are people like that in everyday life and we realize their positive influence once they're gone... As a J-RPG fan, I think Frieren recalled me of J-RPGs more than any isekai trying to blatantly throw stats and game mechanics. Just sublte references of dungeon completion, gacha Mimics, MP (Frieren), Energy Recharge/Cooldown time (Fern), even that magic map... Anime of the DECADE undoubtedly |
