| Hmm, I recall Zavied being more of an asshole when you first meet him... like literally you have to fight him. Feels like they changed that bit just so they didn't have to animate more fight scenes. Oh well whatever, didn't really care for him in game anyways. And now that Edna's join the party, hoping for more humor. |
| Sorey using flame attack against Fire dragon.......what??? RPGs were not part of his world apparently. Edna seems interesting and her attachment with her brother is conflicting with Zavied's mission. Sorey again reminding me why I dislike him. |
 I was waiting for this, and Edna did not disappoint! Really like the amount of characterisation their giving to the characters such as Zaveid. |

| The fight against Zaveid was not really needed (lots of fight were put there since it was a JRPG and they needed bosses). Having him fight the Dragon instead of Sorey was much more entertaining. Yes, Eizen, the dragon, is Edna's brother. Pretty much anything can accumulate Malevolence and turn into a Hellion. A Dragon is a being (not any kind though) who accumulated too much Malevolence. |

| What an great episode, only wished that Zaveid would join Sorey's group with their journey cause I like the character but I feel like he'll make another appearance anyways, also dat preview for the next episode haha. |

| Edna & Zaveid make their appearance. Both bad ass & cool. So the Dragon is Edna's brother Eizen. Awesome to see the fusion between Sorey & Lialah. That dragon is tough. Mikleo gained a Bow. Edna making a contract with Sorey. Time to save Eizen. LOL Edna is funny in the preview. Cannot wait to see more of her. |

Her brother was in the Tales of Berseria opening. Naturally, he went on a journey with Velvet and something happened to him. I haven't played the game so I don't know what happened, but I don't want to know! I want to find out when the game comes out next year in the West :) |

| Great ep. The anime introduced us to Edna and her brother better then the game haha, with the few great flashbacks and OST almost hit me with the feels. Little Edna is kawaii, Edna now is also kawaii. can't get enough of Edna. |

| I really like this plot, actually also really like the soundtrack of the anime and battle scenes that ufotable always delivers, the action in this episode was very good, what a great fight with the dragon, I look forward to continue watching this adaptation .. |

| They still havent explained the Sub Lord Pact thingy that Edna mentioned. However great episode, dying to see the next couple of episodes. Disliking that this season is only 12 eps. We are 8 episodes in and I fear that the story will develop too fast into a conclusion and then just stop. |

| So Sorey and Lailah meet the cute loli, Edna, and the somewhat badass Zavied. And Zavied has advanced technology in the form of a gun while everyone else is stuck with throwing pointy sticks with the help of a string. The doragon which shows up turns out to be Edna's onii-san who got engulfed by malevolence and is supposedly beyond the point of no return. Edna wants to hope that her onii-san can be saved but Lailah and Zavied have never heard of a dragon being purified and returned to normal. But that isn't going to stop Sorey from trying. While I didn't feel anything for Edna, the doragon stuff was interesting – it showed that seemingly good guys can become so engulfed by malevolence that they turn into a dragon, and that while a dragon is the final stage, there is some hope of it being purified as the dragon stopped in the middle of its fireball to fly off. Now Sorey has himself a cute loli companion and his journeys will have finding a way to save dragons on the agenda. And Mikleo has found his bow and arrow to become useful to Sorey. Also, those Lailah legs... |

| This was another excellent episode Edna's introduction was pretty well done and she literally fell out of the sky to be caught by Sorey lol. The music that played when Zeveid showed up was also good and maintained the coolness of the character without being over the top. The dragon that showed up in this episode was pretty well animated and has to be the best dragon i seen in a anime for a long time. To think that was actually Edna's brother though Mikhelio however managed to gain a new power and a cool looking bow. Edna is a pretty interesting character to say the least. Combat in this episode was top notch as always and i liked the backstory scenes that were intermingled with the combat. The music for those scenes fitted them perfectly. In the end it looked like Eizen remembered his sister as he stopped his attacks and flew off. Hope Sorey is able to turn him back to Human for Edna's sake. Looks like something bad will happen next episode |

| Edna grew really fast on me tbh. I really like her alot in just 1 episode. I hope they can help her brother because seeing her in a sad mood wasn't good for the kokoro. Great episode. |
Is it me or the best girl of this anime is a loli? Edna is going to steal the spotlight of the show! jajaja. I'm not lolicon or near that but come on, her face completely stole me. Kuudere, sassy... I'm sorry but I like her character already.  It helps she has a mature face, damn you ufotable! jaja Sorey, he has something that I still don't quite like him as a MC. Maybe it's because he's always too happy and he's so right and justice and that, too cliché. I like Mikleo's new arrowless bow. Seems pretty badass. PD: As a golden rule I have to praise Ufotable for making beautiful anime. |

Eizen did journey with Velvet and something befell unto him. Since the game isn't out in the West just yet, we don't know for sure what occurred (unless you played/watched the Japanese version). However, with Zestiria knowledge, you probably know why it happened --- just not how. |

| Ufotable keeps kicking ass with the sunset scenes. Truly beautiful. Another visually stunning episode. I'm loving the series as someone that hasn't played the games. But now I think I might have to play Tales of X ASAP for the rest of this story....the build up has been slow and that's been fine (I love good world building), but waiting until the winter season (supposedly) for the 2nd cour sucks!!! EDIT: I forgot that Tales of X only dropped in Japan so far right? Early 2017 for NA? |

| edna seems to be quite adorable. The story overall is still a bit unclear, ep8 already (thx to weird way of airing it with specials and such in between) and the main character is just on a little adventure trip. Animations are pretty nice but I cant say I like those undetailed faces. Then again, eyebrows are not floating in the air. this is a big big plus. PS: will we see velvet ever again? I kinda liked her and her story |

| Already liking Zaveid more in the show then the game,mostly because he didnt start a fight against Sorey because of his view of things. Hope they also change Eizen's fate. THEY HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO PURIFY HIM!! |
